Just a few days ago, we received a message about the warrior of light. Well today, another entry was posted in Inkwell’s Secret Diary, and it has really surprised me!! It is titled New Job, Warrior of Light, Mikhail! In addition, two skill effects have been shown!

What can this mean? That all the Cygnus will receive big reorganizations? That all the Cygnus will become actual jobs?! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m actually pretty excited about this!

Does every new revamp class need the same mechanic laser?
I mean first the mechanics had it, then the Canon Shooter and later the Buccs
I feel it’s pretty unoriginal.
BTW if you really think about it there is 1 job missing in each job type
Warrior= adventurer
Bowman=adventurer
Thief= Resistance(Claudine being the instructor)
Mage= Adventurer
Pirate= Hero
why does warrior and mage need another adventurer? u mean like a special one like cannon shooter and DB ?

I don’t think they need one. In my opinion, I think they just did DB and Cannoneer so all the Adventurer classes can have 3 each, and if that’s the case, then the last one will be an Archer Adventurer. That way each Adventurer class will have 3 different sub classes.
Warrior (3): Hero, DK, Pally
Mage (3): Bish, AM F/P, AM I/L
Archer (2): MM, BM
Thief (3): Shad, NL, DB
Pirate (3): Sair, Bucc, Cannoneer

You know what ticks me off more, that idea that every class needs an utlimate. I was hella pissed when nexon gave buccs an ultimate, more than the lazer. I liked the old idea that ultimates were for mages.
Magcian and Warrior are NOT missing a subclass, they already had 3. Thiefs and pirates had 3 with DB and Canoneers. The only explorers w/o 3 is bowmen. were still missing resistance thief and pirate hero.
claudine isnt the instructor. shes the leader of the resistance
Claudine is actually the thief instructor, but as she mentions in game there are no thieves for her to train.
Mages and Warriors 3 Adventurers already, so that kind of leaves me in doubt. For all we know, Mihael could be just like the heroes.
Ok betches. The 3 missing jobs are Archer Adventurer, Pirate Hero, and Thief Resistance. Claudine is the Thief Resistance instructor. We don’t need another Magician or Warrior Adventurer because there’s already 3.

I’m guessing Nexon is turning famous Cygnus figures into figures like Aran, Evan, Mercedes, Phantom, etc? It’s like a continuation of Cygnus Knights… Then I’m guessing Mikail gets a story line just like Aran etc?
I don’t know how I feel about this. I’m gunna wait till we get more information about it to give my final assessment, but eh. I would like it if they’re like, redoing cygnus classes. But to have this be a new class would be stupid. So I’m hoping its a rebalance of dawn warriors because total cygnus revamps would be cool but I feel like having this be a class on it’s own is stupid and completely unoriginal, and I don’t even bitch about when nexon gives classes similar skills. Speaking of, they look cool.

But this job. THIS JOB! Who knew that Mikhail was so much of a badass that he GATE OF BABYLOWNS enemies before blowing them away with EXCALIBURRR. That’s it. I honestly like the new jobs, it gives a larger range of choices for Maplestory. There’s nothing bad with adding something new haha. If you don’t wan’t that job, then don’t make one. Simple as that. I better have enough slots for the new jobs haha

Mikhail is the name of the dawnwarrior instructor. Why would they make 2 versions of the same job?
Maybe its a 4th job for cygnus or the posibility to reincarnate or something like that, like, once lvl 120 is achieved you can restart from lvl 1 and then become lvl 200, that way, it would be a total different job and not just an addition.

Mikhail is his name? You can see it on the character creation screen, it says his name in english, haha. I think GMS just translated it differently.
