KMS ver. 1.2.417 – MapleStory Overdrive: 3rd Hexa Skill Core!
The second patch of the MapleStory Overdrive update, released last week, features the new 3rd Hexa skill core! They didn’t change much from their initial test world release, apart from the things that Changseop mentioned in the Maple Now stream. However, there will be a big skill rebalancing in the next couple of months so there could potentially be some big changes then.
There’s not many other major things in this patch, but the Ultima Squad idle minigame is actually so addictive and they need to make it permanent.

The most recent test server update added the new 3rd Hexa skill cores! I’m sure most people have heard about them and the complaints that they’re way too weak, but I expect next week’s test server patch to make a bunch of changes for the better.

The second patch of the MapleStory 23rd anniversary event has been released. It’s actually pretty small compared to the other off-season patches we’ve been getting recently, but it does include the new 3rd Common Core and the ability to change Sol Hecate’s appearance!
We don’t know much about the next patch in May, but they did say it would be ‘pre-summer’, so maybe a teaser of what we’re getting? I’m actually going to be in Korea (with Steve and Kobe) starting next week and won’t be home for a couple of weeks, so the next post may be delayed!

MapleStory’s 23rd anniversary: Maple Attack has begun! This patch contains a ton of gameplay improvements to leveling up, boss patterns, skill rings, enhancing, and boss rewards, as well as the new Training Grounds system to test out your damage rotation and help the MapleStory team in future balancing.
The main event is themed around Maple Island, the real-life MapleStory theme park opening in Seoul in April. There’s also the new Change Burning: Lucid event where you can transform into and play as Lucid, and the Jin’s Mysterious Garden event where you can get crazy growth rewards from BTS Jin!
