MapleStory 2 – New Monsters!
The MapleStory 2 homepage has been updated a couple times since my last post, I guess it’s going to be a reoccurring thing. Anyways, yesterday this one was released, a picture of some new monsters that will be in the game! They look very… weird, haha.
I think these monsters give us a good indication of the art style of the game, do you guys like it so far?
An update from a few days ago was this picture, which I guess confirms that Birks will be a returning monster in MapleStory 2. Is that a wolf hiding in the back as well?

I doubt he even knows what he is talking about. Ignorance like that causes more than racism. I blame people like him for AIDs, the crime rate, the debt crisis, and every other issue America faces due to stupidity.

Looks like another of the many 3D games out there, and very childish. Horrible, but worth a try as a Maple Story fan.

Maple Story art was more sharp than this. This is missing the vibrant colors and the attention to detail in the most awkward of places. Maple Story is having no nose or fingers but having detailed armor. This is a Dragonica rip off.
thats because all of that was the 2D art, in the actual game the detail on armor and such was like non existence and again its CHIBI cute>detail, also you cant compare 2D art to 3D art its a no go.
The wolf is a player character, you can see the skin and eyes.

Yep, in Korea we write dates as YY/MM/DD. :]

I actually quite like the art. It’s very cute.

I thought most current maplestory monster have DEVOLVED? So birk never devolve or evolve? Example skelegon, those wyvern etc
What’re you talking about? The wyverns and skelegons back then were the same ones as today, just powered up by the Black Mages power! On the other hand, the mobs in ellin forest DID devolve, or rather, they Evolved, but into more tame beasts that were much weaker as a result of their tamed-ness.
