Quest Specialist medal get~ While finishing quests for this medal, I nostalgia’d hard. Doing the old jump quests (I actually did them all! …except Sabitrama’s), going through areas I otherwise would never have gone to (Wooden and Rocky Masks, the best training spot for 20~30!). All in all, it was pretty fun!

And it also gave me a chance to try out the Victoria Island reorganized quests. Each town has a specific quest line that takes you from level 10 to 30, giving you equipment along the way. I can honestly say in terms of annoying-ness, from least to most, it goes Henesys > Nautilus > Ellinia > Perion > Kerning City. Kerning City has soooo many “kill 200 ____” quests and it’s such a pain to keep going back to the deep subway or swamp.

I also  got my Silver Mane mount! Although I don’t use it much, it’s still nice to have!

Well, about the stuff that actually came out this patch, I haven’t actually done a lot of it. Mu Lung Dojo takes way too long to finish (I could do Easy Mode, I guess) and I never get enough people to start Monster Carnival! However, I’ll keep trying in order to get 150 wins for the Carnival Winner medal!

Even though the new medal window lets you get back medals you have dropped, don’t overdo it! The price increases each time you get a medal. I think it caps out at either 1 million or 10 million mesos. Either way, it’s a lot!

In the Romeo and Juliet party quest, it can quite possibly be the most amazing experience from 70 to early 120’s.

How? Get to the stage with the Neo Roids and the two ‘jump quest’ rooms and just grind, grind like you’ve never grinded before! Some people stay until there’s like 5 minutes left then finish the rest of the party quest, but some grind for the whole time. Either way, great place to train! However, watch out for people who use you to get inside then expel you! They fixed this in a later patch in kMS by not allowing party leaders to expel inside a party quest, but I don’t know if GMS will get that right now.

In the Dragon Rider party quest, I don’t know if this is a problem only with kMS or not, but you should change channels after every party quest. Why? Because sometimes the first boss, Dragonica, gets glitched and doesn’t spawn. It might seem like a good thing but you lose out on the experience from it and from your completion reward! Your reward is decreased if you don’t defeat Dragonica.

In the Kenta in Danger party quest (one of three new party quests!), when you have to protect Kenta from the monsters for 3 minutes, you can just start the timer and have your entire party jump down to the floor and wait there. He won’t get hurt and you won’t waste your potions! You do however miss out on the experience from defeating waves of monsters, so some people choose to fight.

In the Prison Break party quest (another new party quest!), the maze is the only tricky part (other than the jump quests for some people I guess).

Here’s the trick: each room has a number! The exit to the maze is located in room 6. To get to room 6, you can of course randomly go through the maze, but there is a more efficient way! In room 1, one of the portals there will lead to room 5, and one of the portals in room 5 will lead to room 6! Therefore, have one of your party members go to each portal in room 1 and tell everyone which goes to 5. Then in 5, do the same! Use the reindeer outside of each portal as a marker, kill them only if you’re going into the portal of the platform they guard.
