kMS ver. 1.2.168 & kMSt ver. 1.2.443 – Angelic Burster and Maple Board Game!
I’ll be covering patches from both Tespia and the real server in this post. They include Angelic Burster skill changes, new Diary entries, as well as a couple of new events~
In Tespia, the latest patch fixed a couple of bugs, including the one where Soul Resonance did not do any damage (like you saw in my video). They also removed the MP bar for Angelic Burster, since she doesn’t use it.
Skill Changes
- Soul Contract (beginner): increased damage effect has been changed to apply for the next 10 seconds instead of the next 4 attacks, cooldown has been decreased from 120 seconds to 90 seconds
- Pink Scud (2nd job): effect has been renewed
- Soul Seeker (3rd job): number of monsters hit has been increased from 1 to 2, new maximum damage of 10,000,000
Land Crash: icon has been renewed- Trinity (4th job): damage has been decreased from 1800% to 1600%, number of hits has been decreased from 4 to 3
Soul Shooter Expert: icon has been renewed

I guess these are going to be outfits you can use in the Coordinate UI. I believe there will be one more before Angelic Burster is released~ I wonder if they’ll be Cash Shop items… probably.
And now I’ll be talking about the events added in the real server! The first is called the Maple Board Game. Every 10 minutes, you can accept a quest from the Maple Admin to receive one Dice.
You can then roll your dice to move your character around the Maple Board Game. If you land on a Quest space, you must complete the task they tell you to (most of them are collecting items or killing monsters). You’ll then get a Bonus prize! If you land on a Bonus space, you’ll receive a Bonus prize for free~ On the Random space I believe you get a random quest or Bonus prize.
When you move around the entire board once, you’ll receive an Event Stamp! You’ll also get a 60% Chaos Scroll every single time you pass the Go space!
Bonus prizes include Tempest Coins, 20/30 attack and magic attack buffs, and Watermelons (of course!).
The final event is called the Everyday Happy Time event! It’s really cool, and gives out great prizes for free! Each day, you have to login to the MapleStory website from 2pm to 11pm and redeem the daily prize!
There are also a couple of Hot Times which, like always, require you to be logged in game at 2:30 PM!
- 8/2: Happy Time Green Box (Mystery Mastery Book + 2 2x Experience Coupons + 2 Miracle Cubes)
- 8/3: Happy Time Blue Box (Mystery Mastery Book + 2 2x Experience Coupons + 20% Clean Slate Scroll)
- 8/4 Hot Time: 100% Epic Potential Scroll, 20 Tempest Coins, Special Additional Potential Stamp, Inkwell Coin (10 per world)
- 8/5 Hot Time: 50% Positive Chaos Scroll, 20 Tempest Coins, Special Additional Potential Stamp, 100k Maple Points (10 per world)
- 8/6: Happy Time Red Box (Mystery Mastery Book + 2 2x Experience Coupons + permanent Double Shinsoo Riding)
- 8/7: Happy Time Silver Box (Mystery Mastery Book + 2 2x Experience Coupons + 10 Buff Freezers)
- 8/8: Happy Time Gold Box (Mystery Mastery Book + 2 2x Experience Coupons + 5 30 Day Item Locks)
Yep, free Miracle Cubes! Hehe, I’ll explain some of the items now, if you don’t know what they are.
A Special Additional Potential Stamp gives one line of Additional Potential to an item at a 100% chance. An Inkwell Coin can be NPCed for a lot of money (not sure how much though). A ‘Double’ riding mount means it has the ability to double jump, so that’s even more mobility than a regular mount! A Buff Freezer lets you keep all the buffs you had after dying.

Thanks for the entry mate. Although, I love the character, two things that irk me.
1. Every AB is going to look the same, despite the costumes. Which is disappointing.
2. It’s just another maple character…..
The only reason I’ve been playing these characters are for the link skills. I truly hope that this hype for TEMPEST is worthwhile, because seriously, this ain’t like BB.

Big bang changed ms forever and people talk about it to this day. This is just a couple of new things. Except for hyper skill and early job adv its good but not bigger. Unless hyper passive for 3rd and 4th gives something awesome(good enough to call 5th job skills) its not bigger.

I was thinking the same thing, but I’m pretty sure he means how there is literally no gauge on the UI aside from EXP and HP that regulates skill usage.

Theres a few things I don’t agree with. All of it. Any character with a hammer has hit the ground with it. And you said skills but hitting the ground isn’t a skill and I’m pretty sure amy didn’t use a hammer before everyone else.
How come you didn’t claim Amy stole kirby’s hammer or the other way around?

Ok your right but I don’t understand why people complain about a strong class. Someone has to be the strongest and she’s it. Ofcourse she’ll get nerfed, I mean they nerfed phantom. Except for penombre and high crit everything else didn’t need nerf. People complaining makes nerfs worse and ussualy don’t truly want think of arans thieves and ds all got.nerfed badly then got buffed up sometimes stronger than before. I forgot mech and wh…. ab damage isn’t why she’s op. Its the fact she recharges more than she can she can use her skills. They could’ve made it a funded only class with low percents.
Ignore my last post unless kmst gives cubes to some people what I saw is op. I still think extreme reduced recharge rate would make it more fair. 2min zak solo in kmst. She didn’t regular attack once summoned 100if those spike balls I didn’t know she could do all that.

There is no male version, Angelic Burster is gender locked.
you do know that aran’s high mastery, was stolen from marksman…. originally only marksman and i believe paladins have more than 50% mastery, so every class copied MMS LOL
My point still stands. > .> would’ve said marks man if I knew. I don’t remeber their original skills cause I know nothing of the class pre jump. Also they wernt considered op either neither were pallys. Also high mastery is 70% so pallys don’t count. And don’t drks have a summon or had one that increased mastery.
Who cares if this class gets nerfed? if it gets nerfed then it will just be more balanced to the rest of the classes.

max what do u think will happen in the next update after tempest? do u think nexon will keep in just release new classes,new bosses,revamp classes, and again? i mean the game progression becomes kinda boring isnt it? i was sure that they will release the black mage in this update after lominous. do u think they will continue this storyline of the black mage for a long time? which comanders still left that nexon should add before black mage (just lotus or i missed some?).

It’s all up to Nexon! I’d love a new area to actually explore/hunt in, maybe even some new bosses for lower level or weaker people to fight (like Hilla!). Although classes can become repetitive, I think they do keep the game interesting and they’ll definitely release more.
I don’t think the Black Mage will be released for a while, maybe by the time they introduce Darmoa (like, how he actually looks) they’ll decide to let us fight him 😛

Ugh, only 4k hp at lvl 116? Squuuuiiiissshhhyyyyyy. Guess it’s another character I’ll create for the events and then use as a storage mule.
Well this is without any Link Skills or Character Deck, but yeah they don’t have much HP.
Maybe the 2k hp from the card set and 5% hp from cannoneer’s link skill will offset some of it. The next thing is to get the hp stuff from Empress. Still – UGH.
