kMSt ver. 1.2.444 – Angelic Burster Tutorial and the Nova & Tyrant Sets!
They added in Angelic Burster’s tutorial this patch, as well as some skill changes and the new equipment set they mentioned in the update preview! Read on for more information~

As you can see, the first part is basically a mirror of the later parts of Kaiser’s tutorial. It seems that after Kaiser (whose canon name is Kyle…) unleashes his power, he collapses. But it wasn’t enough and Tear has to finish them off with her own newfound powers.
There is a video missing, in the area right before you get teleported to Pantheon at level 10, I guess they’ll just add it in on the 9th.

Angelic Burster can now use her new beginner skill 
Daydream to enter Escada’s spirit world. She’ll arrive in her own room! There’s a 10 minute cooldown.
Leaving this room returns you to Pantheon. Maybe you’ll be able to somehow get equipment for the Dress Up system here.
They finally added in her voice overs! She also received one more new skill called True Successor.
- True Successor (beginner): Escada’s true strength allows you to realize the hidden power of the Soul Shooter, increasing your mastery by 10%.
Skill Changes
- Sting Explosion (2nd job): explosion damage’s delay has been reduced
- Pink Scud (2nd job): number of monsters hit has been increased from 8 to 12
- Affinity II (2nd job): number of monsters required to kill to recharge has been decreased from 20 to 10
Falling Star (3rd job): existing skill Gigantic Icicle has been changed to this, effect has been renewed
Finitura Fettuccia (4th job): existing skill Fatality has been changed to this, effect has been renewed- Primal Roar (4th job): attack speed has been increased
- Nova Warrior (4th job): effect has been renewed

Two new sets have been added, the Nova set which is level 110 and the Tyrant set which is level 150. They only consist of a cape, shoes, and belt, but they have amazing stats! Each item of the Nova set has 1 slot while the Tyrant set has 2. They are tradeable with the Platinum Scissors of Karma.
The Nova Cloak gives 30 to all stats, 17 attack and magic attack, and 70 defense and magic defense. The Nova Boots give 22 to all stats, 15 attack and magic attack, and 50 defense and magic defense. The Nova Belt gives 22 to all stats, 10 attack and magic attack, and 46 defense and magic defense.
The Tyrant Cloak gives 50 to all stats, 30 attack and magic attack, and 150 defense and magic defense. The Tyrant Boots give 50 to all stats, 30 attack and magic attack, and 130 defense and magic defense. The Tyrant Belt gives 50 to all stats, 25 attack and magic attack, and 105 defense and magic defense.
The green text on each item indicates that they are Superior items. This means they gain extra stats when enhanced! I believe this means that Enhancement Scrolls can allow them to gain attack and magic attack, unlike regular equipment.
I guess Magnus will drop the Nova set along with the Tyrant set. These stats… the sheer power of even a clean equip is amazing! I bet they’ll be waaaaaaay expensive, if we can even defeat Magnus I mean.

Jesus Christ. 85 attack/magic attack and 150 all stat. Guess that makes the Empress set officially worthless. The 30% bossing will be the only incentive for people to use Empress now, and that’s not that great when you have 40 extra attack/matk and 110 all stat bonus for people who use this set. I knew Empress wasn’t a good choice. Glad I stuck with common equips.
Well, time to focus on the other accessories that don’t get replaced – Pendants, Earrings, etc.
Also is it me, or is Nexon really wanting to push out the whole “Magical Girl” theme on this class by changing all the somewhat “masculine” skills like Fatality to really, really girly versions of themselves. Oh well, it’ll be a fun class to play.
It won’t matter if there will be a girly class u have more then 20 other classes that are not girly but manly so I think that a nice way to get more girls to like the game
…You’re heavily implying that the equipment will be abundant and easier to obtain and replace than Empress armor, especially since most of the Empress gear is comparatively cheap, and that this gear won’t exist in GMS for half a year, not counting the time it will take to defeat Magnus at its current difficulty…
yea… it only took empress equips about a year to become as cheap as they are. Now theres a huge abundance empress equips everywhere. You know that they will just shove these nova/tyrant equips into gach so nexon can make money and then theyll be plenty of them.
Tyrant Set…Holy wowzors. That’s Overkill right there. Definitely is going to be incredibly expensive, probably like 4bil+ for each set.

It’s possible, but I don’t think so. The Tyrant set was shown in the update preview and the only weapon there was the Former Kaiser’s Great Sword.

I guess they are making the level 150 equipments so overpowered due to the fact AB’s can surpass the current damage cap with some skills, so is this an indication to an even higher damage cap than before? o.0

Okay, I don’t friggin care about new classes anymore. Seeing that AB room just made me think about a rather overdue idea: player housing.
They need to add player houses, possibly one setting for each of Maple’s regions. Also, make them upgradeable to a fault. Make purchasing a basic house only cost meso (with a meso-bought one floor upgrade and such), whilst bigger houses (3~5 floors) cost NX to acquire.
Also, we need guild castles. Sure, Orbis has the Guild HQ, but guilds have never been more than an extra friend list with special benefits (much like the family system – except that’s a little more forgiving on membership). Guilds are supposed to be organizations of adventurers that have status – they should have other heirlooms to signify said status.
It’s something Everquest 2 did, and I kinda like how they pulled it off – I just don’t believe it’s been done in a purely PvE setting (to make things fair, make certain upgrades cost meso while the higher quality additions cost NX).
I don’t know how else to make an idea like this work, but Nexon needs to do it. Now. You, Nexon, gave guilds a kick in the balls when you took away access to Sharenian. You at least put ice on the wound (with guild skills), but we’re still salty about everything else.

Nope, attempting to use any attack in the base form automatically transforms you.
Max, will the tyrant set beat the entire empress set with its set effects? and does the tyrant set have a set effect?
The Tyrant set does not have a set effect, but I think its great stats beat out Empress equipment 😛
You can still get the 4 Empress equip set while wearing the Tyrant equips :3

That’s it, I’m calling OP. Not on Burster, just the new equipment sets. I love new stuff as much as the next guy, but releasing a boss you have to be an NX whore to beat and then giving NX whores who beat it the best equipment in the game that’s vastly superior to everything else, that’s just completely and totally OP. There’s good OP and there’s bad OP. New classes are good OP, as they’re free to be enjoyed by everyone. Those new sets, on the other hand, further increase ONLY the e-peens of the super elite. And that’s terrible.
