MapleStory Summer 2014 & MapleStory 2 – Thief and Supporter’s Day!
The final class has been released for MapleStory 2, this one a bit more… provocative than the others haha. There’s also a bit more information about the upcoming Supporter’s Day, and they have finally given us a date for when they’ll reveal the Summer update!
With sleek and crafty movements, their enemies beg for mercy in front of their eyes. Faster than light, they swing their daggers in both hands as their enemies fall to the ground.

Instead of justice and morals, power is what matters in alleyways, which is where the wandering rebel Jonathan Button and his group of followers, Thieves, began. Because of this, some people think its funny to call them “alley misfits who don’t even know the basics of life”.
However, the Thieves do not like this point of view. Although they are outsiders who rejected society, they live freely without others telling them what to do, which some people envy.
I’m actually not too sure about the translations for this one, it was a bit harder than the others. The last paragraph in particular might not make sense haha.
Tomorrow is Supporter’s Day for MapleStory 2! I guess I should explain this because I haven’t really mentioned it before, but for a while now, they’ve been taking applications from people to be Supporters. They asked for information about you as well as if you had a website or blog, so I guess they want people to blog about MapleStory 2.
Anyways, tomorrow they will probably be releasing information! I did not sign up but they did set up an official Facebook page for those of us who are not supporters but still want to get new pictures and stuff.

Finally! Information about the Summer update will be released! But its so late… if the conference itself is on July 19, when will they begin adding the content? Only 180 people will be chosen (although each person can bring 2 friends), hopefully people that go will post information on Insoya so I can translate!
Slightly unrelated, but they’ve been using this character a lot recently. His name is Coordinator and sometimes, when you log off, he’ll ask a few quick questions to get a good idea of what users want improved/added/etc.

What the heck. :(. That’s over a month without any content at all, and even then they’re just giving a teaser. Since it’s so late, I have a feeling that there won’t be much content for the summer updates, as summer would be over only a month after the patch is released. Instead of 2-3 months to add summer content, they only have one month now. Unless they add a ton of content in one patch, it won’t even get to be the proper summer update. I don’t know how mms players deal with these excessive wait times. :(. Anyway, regarding the ms 2 pic, is all of this fanservice really necessary? There are no male class pics, and all the girls have had large chests, super narrow waists, and huge hips/thighs (someone else pointed this out to me when the berserker’s art came out, and I’ve noticed it in all classes since). There is no need for this, and it’s kind of annoying to see this constantly. Ms doesn’t rely on cheap fanservice to get players. Why does ms 2 need to? If they think all female art will attract girls to the game, it won’t. If anything, the fanservice will draw them away since they’ll feel it’s yet another sexualized mmo. And some guys will stay away because they think there are no perversions for them to play as. I don’t think it’s too smart of them to market the game that way. :(.

To be honest I’m indifferent about them being all female, I care more for the gameplay than the actual art and as we already know there are males in the game thanks to the trailer. Really the whole there is no males in ms2 joke is pretty much invalid at that point. Also tomorrows supporters day for ms2, those who signed up to be a supporter got accepted will be seeing an unreleased video and info from it might leak.
Why is everyone comparing it to Maple Story? You do realize Maple Story 2 is an entirely different game? They are trying to fix what they messed up in Maple Story so if you’re mad that you’re not seeing similarities then you should stick to the Maple Story you love. While the people like me who started Maple Story over 8 years ago but quit because of the relentless stupid and idiotic updates enjoy the fixed version called Maple Story 2.

It’s not racist.. thieves steal booty just like pirates.. they probably figured while they were at it that they should just show a thief with “a” -or- “the” booty *pun pun*.. a female with a booty.. why not make her black? I’m not saying that’s the thought process but I can definitely see that happen in the decision room for the project. Plus she’ll be stealthier at night which is when thieves preferably steal. No offense just common sense.
Why should I play LoL, when there’s is Dota2, and it is way better?
