  • NOT ADDED YET!

Spirit Saviour

Spirit Saviour x1

New content in Arcane River’s Arcana area has been added: Spirit Saviour.

  • Spirit Saviour is a new type of content where you must save as many trapped Stone Spirits as possible while avoiding multiple monsters who will interfere with you in a limited amount of time.
  • Characters who have completed the “Forest of Regained Harmony” quest can enter Spirit Saviour by talking to the Escaped Stone Spirit in the Spirit’s Tree map.
  • After attacking and destroying a trap holding a Stone Spirit, press the Spacebar key and the spirit will begin to accompany you.
  • If you bring the Stone Spirit to the shining spot at the centre of the map safely, you will receive Rescue Points based on the number of spirits with you (up to 5 at one time).
  • You will have a certain Defense level. If you are hit by monsters, this level will decrease and if it hits 0, you will drop all Stone Spirits that are accompanying you. In addition, for every Stone Spirit that is currently accompanying you, your Defense level will decrease slightly.
  • When the time limit is over, the content will end.
  • After the content ends, you will acquire 1 Spirit Coin per 1000 Rescue Points.
  • You can trade 3 Spirit Coins for 1 Arcane Symbol: Arcana.
  • You can enter Spirit Saviour up to 3 times per day.
  • You can acquire up to 30 Spirit Coins per day.
  • If you play in a Premium PC Room on a weekend, you will receive 30% additional Rescue Points and your daily limit of Spirit Coins is increased to 40.

Think Nexon will fix this? I am kinda sad about this. I love the Wings on Nova characters.

          June 18, 2017 at 7:11 pm

Her not having wings / a tail is part of her storyline, she loses them in the Magnus fight apparently? Not entirely sure.

            June 18, 2017 at 7:19 pm

This is so confusing. I just want a cool Nova class with the wings and the tail and the stuff…

          • June 18, 2017 at 10:22 pm

Oh, so this might throw in a “disgraced Nova royalty” element into the mix…interesting.

I wonder how she’d react to Tear.

          June 19, 2017 at 12:38 am

After actually creating her, there is a video at the beginning that shows her in the past with horns/tails/wings so something must have happened to them story-wise.

          June 19, 2017 at 12:03 pm

can you cool your furry tendencies already, all your comments on this post reek of desperation just because god forbid a character not have wings

    • June 18, 2017 at 7:02 pm

Maybe royalties of Nova don’t have them? XD

      • June 18, 2017 at 7:04 pm

And if that is true… then Tear might have blood of royalties… plot.twist!

Hey Max. Do you know how the new “account library” feature works? I’m curious if this means we can share equips with our characters, especially on Reboot.

    • Ivangold
      June 18, 2017 at 6:58 pm

Er, pretty sure they won’t let you trade in Reboot, maybe just maybe nx and i still doubt.

Weak Point Attack: Attack enemies that are inflicted with a status condition in a strategic way. (max level: 15) (level 15 is required to learn Weak Point Converging Attack)
Level 15: When attacking enemies inflicted with a status condition, [increase your critical rate by 1% and critical damage by 5%.] This effect will stack on up to 5 status conditions.

Weak Point Converging Attack: Through research on status inflicted enemies, perform more fatal concentrated attacks. When attacking enemies inflicted with a status condition, there is a certain chance to inflict the Bleed status. Weak Point Attack’s effects will be overwritten. (max level: 20) (required: level 15 Weak Point Attack)
Level 20: When attacking enemies inflicted with a status condition, [increase your critical rate by 2% and critical damage by 10%.] This effect will stack on up to 10 status conditions. There is a 50% chance to inflict the Bleed status for 10 seconds, dealing 110% damage every second.

Shouldn’t the crit rate and crit damage numbers be the other way around? Because 100% crit damage would be ridiculously OP.

Double checked and yeah those are correct. Maybe they swapped them around by accident and it will be fixed next patch?

  8. June 18, 2017 at 8:25 pm

Ah I see, Thank you for breaking it down.
Looks fun and wow another royal class and yet…I don’t thin I’ll really mess with that class that much but I do like the idea of more planets and maps,

Is there another class at the end of summer?
I feel like the dude at the end of the video could be a Nova Mage

storyline would be like “I was taken as a child and trained into a Nova Warrior to protect our galaxy!” He has the same robe as those Priests.

Will we get more than 40 character slots?

    • Max
      June 18, 2017 at 10:22 pm

I think some people are speculating it could be Darmoor, the Transcendence of Life of Grandis.

With Cadena, KMS has only 38 classes (not including Pink Bean) so it’s not a problem for us. It would be up to other versions to increase the limit :^)

      • Anchovies
        June 18, 2017 at 10:35 pm

Since the update’s focusing around Nova atm i wouldn’t be surprised if they did add another class / That was Darmoor (Pretty sure we haven’t even seen him yet in game, so it could be a huge possibility.) Either way, a Nova mage with a blue theme would be dope.

      • Anonymous
        June 18, 2017 at 10:58 pm

Is it possible for GMS to raise the character slot cap even though KMS did not?

Aww I don’t see any pictures of Darmoor 😦

        • Anchovies
          June 18, 2017 at 11:06 pm

Edit; Posted this on Reddit in a thread and thought i should post it here aswell. It’s most likely Darmoor. Going off of Darmoors lore, and how’s he’s a different race (His ears being elf-like, elves revolve around nature which is his race (High flora, “High elf”) And what he was at war with (Verdant flora)) From other Grandis Races, i wouldn’t be surprised if it was him.
So what i can gather is that he is a mage, and that if he isn’t a new character he’s gonna be Nova’s Equivalent to Maple’s Black Mage. (Both are transcendent’s of light, Magnus is their servants.)

Plus this update’s called Nova so he clearly has something to do with Grandis 😛

          • Evan Gustavson
            June 19, 2017 at 3:40 am

Technically, Darmoor is the Transcendent of Life, like Alicia, the World Tree.
Grandis’s Transcendant of Light is named Iona, and their Tranascendent of Time is named Chronica. Little is known about either of them.
Iirc, Iona’s in a place “only the light can reach”

damn, when i read nova and new job, i was hoping for the character with spear and shield depicted in pantheon temple 😦

also the end person’s vibe from the look seems more of an evil boss than another new character

gives me hype since this just makes it seem like they’ll come out one after another of nova characters, hope they’ll bring out all the characters depicted on the temple statues

    • Anonymous

Same thought, it looks more like an evil boss from Grandis, perhaps another evil transcendent of light over there like we had Black Mage in Maple World. But the boss looks hot af~

I swear the more I look at Cadena’s skills the more I see Xenon with combo chain abilities and Im not sure if that’s a good thing.

PS: For those of you who thought the whole chain-stravaganza thing with Cadena was a bit much, her name literally means Chain in Spanish.
