kMS ver. 1.2.156 – Warrior Reorganization & Ancient Artifacts!
The warrior reorganization in the last patch was released, with a couple of extra changes! There’s also this year’s iteration of the Artifact Hunt event~
Spiegelmann’s Strange Gallery’s reward, the Spiegelmann’s Decorated Shoulderpad now comes with better stats.
Characters with locked items cannot be deleted! This is really cool, now I have to keep at least one thing locked at all times haha.
The first event is Spiegelmann’s Strange Artifact Hunt! It’s this year’s version of the Ancient Artifact Hunt~ It will run until May 2nd.
You have to kill monsters around your level and collect Unknown Artifacts!
This event is an attendance check, each day you must collect 1000 points! What are the prizes?
- 1 day: 2012 Artifact Hunt Participant Medal (1 to all stats, 10 speed and jump)
- 2 days:20 Power Elixirs
- 3 days:Spiegelmann’s Ancient Stone Chair
- 4 days: 15% Armor/Accessory for Attack/Magic Attack Scroll (choose 1)
- 5 days: 2012 Excavated Artifact Facepaint (3 to all stats, 20 defense and magic defense, 50 accuracy and avoid, untradeable, lasts 30 days, cannot be time extended)
- 6 days: 2012 Excavated Artifact Hat (7 to all stats, 100 HP and MP, 40 defense and magic defense, 10 slots, untradeable, lasts 30 days, cannot be time extended)
- 7 days: 2012 Excavated Artifact Glasses (2 to all stats, 30 defense and magic defense, 3 slots, untradeable, lasts 30 days, cannot be time extended)
- 8 days: choose 1 2012 Excavated Artifact item (permanent)
To get the event stamp for this event, complete up to day 5 of the attendance check!
Sometimes, the Keeper of the Artifacts will spawn! Defeat him and you’ll get a Trace of the Keeper of the Artifacts which gives you 100 points, and one of three potions (20 to all stats, speed and jump for 1 hour, 4 attack and magic attack for 1 hour, or 2000 HP for 1 hour).
If you’re lucky, you’ll get a buff that gives you 2x the points for 30 minutes!
You can continue collecting points after your daily 1000, and you can spend them at Spiegelmann’s Antique Museum!

- Strong Personality Use Item (1500 points)
- Spiegelmann’s Hot Air Balloon Coupon (2500 points)
- Antique Box (6000 points)
- 2 Star Enhancement Scroll (15000 points)

- Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scroll (18000 points)
The personality use item gives a random personality trait potion, and the Antique Box can give any other item that Spiegelmann sells in his museum~
You must also find the 8 artifacts strewn within the Unknown Artifacts! If you collect them all, you get the 2012 Spiegelmann’s Artifact Excavator Medal, which gives 2 to all stats, 3 attack and magic attack, 15 speed and jump, and 100 defense and magic defense.
Yay, a new medal that I will actually be wearing!
The next event is the Warrior Reorganization Celebration event~! It will be here until April 30.
All warriors get a free SP Reset Scroll~
All warriors (except Mikhail) receive the Strong Warrior’s Marble in their etc inventory at level 10 or above, and they must charge it by killing monsters! If you fully charge it (I think you have to kill 3000 monsters), you get…
the Strong Warrior’s Ring! It gives 3 to all stats, 2 attack, and 10 defense, magic defense, and accuracy. It can be traded through the account with the Share Name Tag. This ring does stack with other event rings.
If you’re a Hero, Paladin, Dark Knight, or 4th job Soul Master, you get an extra 5% critical chance! If you’re a Crusader, Hero, Knight, Paladin, Dragon Knight, Dark Knight, or a 3rd or 4th job Soul Master, you get an extra 2 strength and 1 attack!
Similarly, you’ll also receive the Undefeatable Warrior’s Marble at level 75! Charge it up and you’ll get…
the Strong Warrior’s Two Hand Sword (100 HP and MP, 90 attack, 10 accuracy, 7 slots, 10 extra attack if you’re level 100) and the Shining Soul Caliber (100 HP and MP, 88 attack, 10 accuracy, 7 slots, 8 extra attack if you’re level 100)! Sorry… no pole arm or spear for you Dark Knights.
Warriors also get equipment boxes for these levels!
While levelling up, you’ll also have certain goals depending on your current level! If you can level up the specified amount of times, you’ll get…
a 60% One-handed/Two-handed Weapon for Attack Scroll (2 weapon attack, 20 accuracy) and a Warrior Blessing Potion (10 to all stats, speed and jump for 1 hour).
At second job advancement on a warrior, you’ll receive the Strong Warrior’s Earrings, which gives 3 to all stats and 1 attack.
At third job advancement, you’ll get a 70% Warrior’s One-handed/Two-handed Weapon for Attack Scroll (choose 1)! At fourth job advancement, you’ll get the choice of one Special Mastery Book!
Finally, I’ll outline the skill changes~!

Warrior
- Power Strike (1st): damage has been increased from 220% to 260%
- Slash Blast (1st): damage has been increased from 280% to 300%
- Stance (4th): chance to not be knocked back has been increased from 95% to 100%
- Rush (4th): damage has been increased from 300% to 500%
Fighter
NEW SKILL: Brandish: Attack up to 3 monsters in front of you for 210% damage twice. (max level: 20)
- Rage: duration has been increased from 155 seconds to 180 seconds, now stacks with other attack buffs
Crusader
NEW SKILL: Brave Slash: Attack up to 4 monsters in front of you for 240% damage three times (max level: 20)
NEW SKILL: Endure: Increase your resistance to states by 20% (max level: 20)
- Self Recovery: HP healed has been increased from 100 HP to 400 HP
- MOVED SKILL: Brandish
Hero
NEW SKILL: Raging Blow: Attack up to 6 enemies in front of you for 220% damage five times. The final attack will always be a critical hit. (max level: 30)
- Combat Mastery: defense ignored has been increased from 40% to 50%

- Elemental damage is no longer halved on bosses

- Shield Mastery: guard chance has been increased from 10% to 20%
- Lightning Charge:when dual charging elements, damage will not be decreased if the monster is resistant to one of the two elements

NEW SKILL: Monster Magnet: Pull up to 6 monsters in front of you and hit them for 350% damage while stunning them for 5 seconds. (max level: 30)
- Blast: damage has been decreased from 260% to 200%, number of hits has been increased from 4 to 6
- Blessing Armor: chance to activate has been increased from 30% to 50%
- Advanced Charge: damage has been increased from 370% to 400%, now gives a 10% chance of instant death when using Charge Blow
- Sanctuary: number of attacks has been increased from 1 to 4, damage has been decreased from 1700% to 425%
Dragon Knight
NEW SKILL: Endure: Increase your resistance to states by 20% (max level: 20)
- Dragon Buster: damage has been increased from 200% to 220%
- Dragon Thrasher: damage has been increased from 450% to 550%
- Sacrifice: damage has been decreased from 400% to 220%, number of attacks has been increased from 2 to 4
Dark Knight
- Dark Impale: damage has been increased from 180% to 200%
- Beholder’s Revenge: time in between Beholder’s attacks has been decreased from 5 seconds to 4 seconds
- Beholder’s Healing: HP healed has been increased from 500 to 600
Soul Master
- Rage (2nd): duration has been increased from 155 seconds to 180 seconds, now stacks with other attack buffs
- Soul Blade (2nd): damage has been decreased from 370% to 360%
NEW SKILL: Brandish (2nd): Attack up to 3 monsters in front of you for 210% damage twice. (max level: 20)
- Soul Charge (3rd): name has been changed to Shining Charge
- Soul Driver (3rd): delay has been shortened (this also applies to Mikhail and Ultimate Adventurers)

- Self Recovery: HP healed has been increased from 100 HP to 200 HP

Kind of a lame excuse for a ‘reorganization’ 😡
You think so? I’m thinking that this is just fine. Were you expecting some sort of full-fledged overhaul of the classes? All the adventurer warrior classes needed were a couple of tweaks here and there, while addressing a couple of issues, like Paladin’s elemental reduction against bosses. If anything, I believe they’ve done a bit much, like giving that new skill to Heroes, moving the related skills to previous jobs, and keeping the max level of Pally’s Magnet at 30.
Considering Heroes actually got a Revamp, while Paladin and Dark Knight only got number changes, it’s a pretty sad excuse for a “Reorganization”.
Need I remind you, Paladins can’t max out Monster Magnet without crippling another skill of theirs, minus Rush.

We don’t need any more revamps, instead, Nexon needs to be more original and think of better ideas instead of the endless cycle of revamps and new classes.

Yes, which is why I said they got “too much”. I’m not saying all of it was fantastic. Pallys don’t need a lvl 30 Magnet, nor do the heroes need their main, redundant skills juxtaposed between their previous jobs, that’s… like I said… too much. I’m assuming you misunderstood me…
you obviously havent made a hero before. heroes havent had a significant revamp in soooo long, they are now the weakest warrior class. almost no one makes them anymore, which is why the books are so cheap now. pally’s and dk’s are OP compared to heroes, which is why they obviously had to do something about it and balance them out. the whole point of the warrior reorgination wasnt about all the classes getting new skills and what not, but to put heroes in the same ballpark as the other two calsses.

First off, titles don’t have a UI like that, they don’t have required stats/levels/jobs/etc and secondly, it says equipment type: pocket item.

Well my demon is pretty much screwed at all boss runs, which my luck is already bad enough with 80% abnormal status resist, so my demon is pretty much screwed after the nerf comes to gms.
you do know that status resist lowers the duration of the status, not making the chance of a status happening that much lower right? plus, i dont think status resist affects stun or seduce because they are not considered “abnormal statuses” as they cannot be cured by allcures.

As a 18x Drk, I feel that the only thing is missing from DRK is NOT a new attacking skill, but rather buffs. Adding in ADV HB would be greatly appreciated with a few minor buffs such as a 10% achillies to everyone in the party memeber – which can stack with pallies achillies as well – futher complimenting them even more. aslo, increase m.def and w.deff by percent, stacking with other classes skills as well – complementing their skills too.
Beholder’s aura should heal by PERCENT! not by 500/600hp (whatever the new healing number is). that’s pure rubbish when it comes to bossing and killing monsters at my level. beholder’s aura should also heal party memebers as well. however much beholder is healing the drk, the party recives the same ammount. so if drk is getting healed 1.5k hp, party memeber should too. it wont replace BISHOPS, but again, help compliments the class. because even bishops wants to attack during boss runs too! and they should be allow to do so.
upgrade iron’s will to PERCENT!!! a static 400 def does CRAP! and besides, people will appreicated % def over static def anyday.
since magic crash has a cool down, at least allow it to cancle whatever buff the boss has, even if magic crush is used AFTER the boss castes his/her buff. it would at least make some boss fights manageable instead of using it as an excuse to waste wheels – than again, maybe thats the whole point is to make player waste wheels so nexon makes more money?
move rush and monster magnet down to 3rd job for ALL explorer warriors. move stance down to 3rd job for ALL explorers warriors. that will not only make the warriors more enjoyable in the early levels, but comparable to other classes in 3rd job as well. if anyone has ever played a warrior in 3rd job WITHOUT any form of leech, help, or pq, then you know it is hell getting up to 120. Also, with Monster Magnet and rush moving down to 2nd job, not only will it make the warrior class better, but players will actually fully use the skills compare to the current state. For example, warriors don’t even max rush til late 17x-18x. Monster magnet is in the same case. this makes these two skill unapprcaited, when in reality, these two skills are REALLY great. however, because these two skills are located in 4th job, people HAVE to skip these two useful skills for other skills so that their character can be playable. By moving these skills up early in the game, players will have the chance to fully rush and monster magnet almost from the start – in which, the players can apprcaite how useful the skills are instead of always making it the last skills to level up.
I honestly beleive that with these changes to drks, it will balance it out and give it the support role. even though many regards drk’s as the support role in the present day, they are not as every other class has buffs that can be just as viable, or if not, better than HB. Drks cant be called mobbers too because even classes that are good at 1v1 have better mob skills (ie: mercedes and other many other classes). So what are drk’s? Not support I say nor are they mobber. By adding these buffs, drk will at least become support again, and that, I will glady take over reciving more damage% increase. I am fine with heroes, ds, arans, and pallys doing more damage and I glady let them have the damage thone as long as Drk can one again be unuiqe like it use to be.
and hopfully people can see these buffs as complements to every class and to help the party last that much longer – as I firmly beleive, that is what a support class should do anyways right?
Give Dark Knight a passive skill like improving the Hyper Body and Iron’s Will,and the passive effect is reduce incoming damage by 15% to balance it out..besides beholder’s aura and beholder’s revenge should combine into one skill so dark knight will receive another new skill. In my opinion. 😀
i agree with you on this 1 cuz it was almost hellish trying to get from lvl 1-120 with my dk but monster magnet range should be extended and moved to second job such like BaMs hyper dark chain and in all honesty rush does not attack fast enough. so to say just simply move it to 3rd job is not enough but its attack speed should be increased . but to me i think MM and rush are of the same category so 1 warrior class should get rush and the other MM cuz 1 is running toward enemies which is rush (such like DS’s dark thrust) and in my compareson earlier MM(BaM’s HDC) but id also like sacrifice to be a mob skill just my opinion and beholder’s revenge should attack every 2 secs 4-5 secs takes to long for a meesly 700% dmg or maybe 320% dmg every second and should hit up to 6-8 monsters cuz BaM’s dark shock can be used every 5 secs for 1600% dmg and i also agree with darkknigh he has a few valid points

Sadly, it’s not fake. Michael from Maple Story’s dev team wrote it in the officeal Maplestory Global’s site.My expectition from global Maplestory: A pirate with bishop skills that use paper to attack other monsters with his water gun and have critical rate of 140%.
its not a pirate because it’s probably going to be an extension class like the dual blade and cannon shooter. problem is… which class is it going to be. it’s not going to be a thief or pirate because those have extension classes already. and if it was a “new class” then releasing one at a time like the heroes are completely going to negate themselves.

Dont get your hopes up, EVERY time nexon america says something is gms exclusive it just becomes a fail. Example: NLC aliens, just like 4 quests and a loose storyline that NEVER END. Plus when we got familiars and silent crusade (apparently our other GMS exclusive content from a previous update), it was already in JMS and quickly following us; KMS. and nexon never added the other part to the familiars! soul weapons!!

Um they should give heroes a skill where they get a sword and can fight with it and covers the sword your using, no its not nexon cash items i will try to find a pic of what i mean for the people who don’t understand
Easy you are saying to make a sword-buff skill that will transform maybe into that new animation skill to use it for a set time like if it was any sword but stronger :D.
And Maybe that new hero its maybe a pirete because they have a hero for all the others and I bet Kms will take it later because Im pretty sure they wont stay without their pirate hero, But for Once… GO GMS 😀

i think warriors need to get rush 2nd job, take away power strike revamp slash blast’s dmg to 300% pages get a new skill at 2nd job too iron will be a percent like +40% def or something
and that’s about it increase the number of enemies hit with brandish and intrepid slash to 6 and raging blow to 10 heroes get something like advanced combo booster that increases panic’s damage and shout needs it’s dmg increased to like 360% that’s not too complicated i hope and lastly remove ground smash and give all warriors soul blade accept spearmen give spearmen something like a mini dark impale that hits 3 times with twice as much range as the spear
It seems like Dark Knights gets 10%-20% damage boost AGAIN like always in every so called warrior revamp or skill damage boost. Not to mention all attack skills are useless once you put 1 skill point into Dark Impale. While the other warriors get new skills and stronger damage boost it just makes no sense making only 1 warrior class gain when there is a total of 3. For the longest now the Dark Knights have been trolled on over and over again but they are still good to play just not up to par with other warriors because all they have is Hyper Body, Dark Impale, Berserk, and Beholder type skills. Out of 4 jobs and a hell of a lot skill points that is all they get which isn’t fair in my opinion while compared to Heroes that have a weapon attack boost every job and all Paladins that have a damage reduction every job. Sure they have a lot of life but that’s useless because higher level monster equals higher damage to your life not to mention since they are weaker than Heroes they take longer to kill monsters at the same time being weaker in defense than Paladins so dying is easier. Now you must be thinking Heroes have less defense also. Not true they have power guard and stronger attacks to get rid of the monster quicker so they wont be a threat to harm them. JUST GIVE DARK KNIGHTS A BETTER DEFENSE SKILL AND ANOTHER MOVE INSTEAD OF THE DARK IMPALE THEY WILL BE USING FROM LEVEL 120-200 AND FOR THE REST OF THE DARK KNIGHTS PLAY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well…. Max, the ring doesn’t stack with other even rings right? But does it stack with the legends ring? Since the legend ring could stack with resistance ring or lirin ring
