kMS ver. 1.2.162 – Beat the Heat & Incoming Resistance Reorganization?
This was sort of a boring patch, just a new event to tide the waters after the anniversary. However, there’s also hints of the next update so read on!
The exclusive TMS (and CMS?) class might have been revealed! Also new information about the Jett class coming to GMS! See the end of the post!
EDIT: Another new entry has been posted in Inkwell’s Secret Diary, as well as more information about the Dragon Warrior!
So this event is an attendance check, each day you must open 1 Ice Box that you can collect from monsters!
Starting from the third day, you’ll receive some prizes.
- 3 days: 50 Power Elixirs (untradeable)
- 4 days: New Ice Crystal Face Painting (5 to all stats, 3 attack and magic attack, 10 defense and magic defense, 20 accuracy, avoid, and jump, expires in 15 days)
- 5 days: 1 Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scroll (untradeable)
- 6 days: 1 50% Golden Hammer (untradeable)
- 7 days: 60% Chaos Scroll (untradeable)
- 8 days: New Rainbow Badge (5 to all stats, 100 HP and MP, 15 attack and magic attack, and 20 accuracy, avoid and jump, expires in 7 days)
- 9 days: Cassandra’s Magic (buff that gives 10 attack and magic attack, 150 defense and magic defense, 100 accuracy and avoid, and 3 speed and jump for 20 minutes) and 1 Gallant Emblem
Of course, the Ice Boxes themselves give out prizes as well. Your favourite Ice Cream Bars are back, haha.
- Cool Summer Goggles (1 to all stats, 1 attack and magic attack, 50 defense and magic defense, 3 slots, untradeable)
- Pink Floral Tube (different stats for each class, expires in 7 days)
- Strawberry/Carrot/Choco/Melon Ice Bar (expires in 3 days)
- Ice Cream Pops/Red Bean Sundaes/Watermelon
- Personality trait items
- Pink Floral Tube Scrolls
And finally, Surfboards will be dropping from any monster above level 10!

Now his post was about CMS, but a while back, Spadow also posted similar images found in TMS! I think the combination of these two helps the legitimacy, haha. What do you guys think?
Something odd about the Dragon Warrior is that… all of his skills are copies of the reorganized pirates? Here you can see their version of Battleship: Nautilus, Fusillade, Head Shot, and Rapid Fire. In the full version of the picture above you can see he has Tornado Upper in his skill book.
It was already rumoured that CMS/TMS will not release the pirate reorganization. Perhaps they will simply use the new skills in this class? I don’t really understand why…
P.P.S. Dozokten posted this picture on his blog yesterday, it’s a coloured version of one of the pictures that was in the GMS news post for its new event. Could these two be the new Jett class?
Then if you compare the symbol on the Bounty Hunter Badge with the symbol on the hats in the portraits, you’ll see they match! What does it mean?

Seriously, Nexon must stop with revamping classes. It’s really getting annoying. Hopefully it’s not just %dmg changes, like the warriors, mages and archers got.

because each time a new class is released it is way overpowered, so they have to revamp the whole game to fix the one new class…. -.-

Soon other versions like SEA, BRAZIL, EUROPE, THAILAND, and etc. will all have their own exclusive characters. That would be interesting. Seriously though there needs to be more quality “exclusive content”.
Look what GMS has done with “their” exclusive stuff, they practically ruined CWK + NLC.
Why couldn’t they made the Visitors (Alien VIP PQ) event a permanent addition to the Masterian content? or make it an expansion to Omega Sector and be a theme dungeon/questline like Elin Forest?
Well anyway I hope GMS’s character will not be a complete letdown, but knowing GMS, it will be underdelivered, like Revamp NLC. ~_~

and if that’s the best sort of thing they can come up with for “exclusive characters” then there’s absolutely no reason to anticipate such things.
and NLC from what little I’ve seen of it was never terribly special anyway. just a less-than-loving parody of the US. and the only good part to the LOL ALIENS thing is the addition of a high-EXP grinding spot. too bad it’s coupled with an idiot plot that seems to take your character’s intellect down a few orders of magnitude… which is extra stupid if you’re playing a “legendary” character other than evan MAYBE.
OKAY IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO ARE ASKING FOR THIEF RESISTANCE, does that make any sense? Yeah lets put a thief in a place where every job is pretty much underground. And where the Black Wings control the freaking city, THIEF RESISTANCE IS THE DUMBEST THING I HAVE HEARD OF IN MY LIFE.
You haven’t noticed the pattern yet, after 7 years? Every branch/race (Hero, Resistance, Cygnus Knight) has all five sub-classes. (warrior, magician, bowman, thief, pirate) Under these circumstances, the chances of a thief Resistance class are very likely. Plus, it might not be your idea of a thief, the Resistance classes have all been clever so far.

It would be pretty cool to see that as the Pirate Hero!!! but people are already talking about the alphabetical release (the one I believe) and the M-A-P-L-E Release of the Pirate, it becoming the L to complete the word MAPLE. Which is hard to argue with since its a little hard to think of a job name within Q-Z.. So hands up in the air for the Sair/Buc Hybrid! WITH A SHIELD!!!

it looks really cool, that character resemble the chinise mafia and thats kind of cool, maybe that class its a mix of martial arts and guns, so maybe its a pirate or a thief, but only the time will tell…

What would be so different from the Dragon Warrior’s gun and a normal gun? It kind of looks lame to me for that reason. (and wouldn’t you image a Dragon Warrior with a spear or sword?)
Also expect the Thief Resistance to be added somewhere near the Resistance Revamp, much like they did with Thief/Pirate Revamp and Phantom.

if you don’t like it, then go download another version of MS. Seriously, when Nexon just imports from KMS, people complain about what they do. I kinda have a feeling that it may not be a new class but a their version on “revamping” pirates since they gotten thief revamp in Justice but not the pirate ones, and their skills are really similar. Headshot with a dragon design… Fucillade but instead of a octopus its a panda… Rapid Fire with a cool dragon design
I like that CMS decided to make the dragon warrior essentially the revamped pirates, that way they get to choose whether they want to play as the old kind of pirates or the revamped ones. I think it’s pretty useful and a way to give their players more options.

are you SURE its gonna be an adventurer? because the character select screen for all explorers/adventurers have had a green background. The dragon warrior’s is red. Maybe its different completely? its not an adventurer cygnus resistance or hero maybe?

Possible storyline of Jett:
There is this awesome Bounty Hunter called Jett. He is doing stuff only to make himself rich. So one day this shady guy comes up to him and asks him to go to Cerberus and kill a evil rich person. What Jett doesn’t know is that the “evil person” actualy isn’t evil, he is the king of Cerberus, and the person that gives Jett the message is Black Wings general Baroq in disguise. So he goes to the planet, kills the king, and suddenly everyone is in shock. People are all scared and fear Jett, but he doesn’t know why. Then he finds a bounty board with his name on it. “Wanted, dead or alive for killing the high King on Cerberus. 10000000000 messo”
“nooooooo” Jett screams, this isn’t what I wanted, how is this possible!
He then realises that the Black Wings tricked him in killing the king of Cerberus. The Black Wings feared Jett because they were afraid he would one day try to destroy the Black Wings and the Black Mage. So to try and prevent that they wanted Jett to commit a bad crime that makes the whole Mapleworld and the universe outside the Maple World to be angry at Jett, so that Jett will hide for the rest of his life, or be in prison.
Jett wants to take revenge on the Black Wings and the Black Mage, but how….. He then hears from Heroes, who fight along side each other to fight the Black Mage. He sees this as the perfect opportunity to take revenge on the Black Wings, Join the heroes and destroy the Black Mage..
Sounds a bit of a mix between Edelstein, Evan, and Phantom right? Well Nexon has to take their inspiration from somewhere ….

their rifles look cool, now i see why nexon made no pirate revamp for TWMS. that really sucks, if they did that for thieves and there was no thief revamp that would suck. its also stupid how its a lot like dual bladers, and the eyes of the characters are ones u can get for free on creation.
so basically this “exclusive” dragon warrior its just copy paste from the pirate reorganization but with dragon’s animations… so in gms our “exclusive” class JETT its not other than the same sh1t but with alien like animations? poor pirates… so all the people who create pirates and maybe thiefs too will not get any revamp in gms? bcuz i saw today there will be no justice patch, instead we will have “renegades” patch with phantom hilla and all the things from justice except the revamps… nexon’d ¬¬

Does any1 know if Jett is a hero class? I was assuming since other servers such as CMS/TMS were getting an exclusive class which was Dragon Warrior/Explorer won’t our GMS exclusive class be a different class not a hero class?
Jett isn’t a hero class, he’s his own class. Phantom is the Thief Hero. TMS/CMS has the Dragon Warrior who appears to be the revamped pirate with new skill animations.
My thoughts: One possiblity could be that Jett is just like the the Dragon Warrior, being the actual revamped pirate since it looks like Boy Jett is holding a gun in that picture, I can’t tell what Girl Jett is holding. I hope he isn’t because Jett is technically his own class meaning he is separate.
There is still a possibility that we could get the Thief/Pirate revamp. GMS could group the Theif revamp with Phantom, and the Pirate revamp with Jett (again Dragon Warrior Theory).
They could also just put both in with Phantom, call it the “Justice Package,” if you will.
All of these are just my thoughts though, we won’t get any actual info until they release it on the noted days.

Man, Nexon really must hate pirates and thieves. Once again, they are left out of the reorganizations. And what the hell? Dragon Warrior? Have they run out of ideas? The name is practically the same as DKs….

I think the design for Dragon Warrior is adorable 🙂 But I have to admit that making it into a Pirate class just doesn’t suit it.. It would’ve been more interesting if they were samurais or something (kicks, swords, even chi sometimes?).. But then again, I think the whole concept of Dragon Warrior being a pirate came from that old Pirate dragon skill that could only be used while transformed.. IDK it’s just my speculation.
Another thing I don’t really like about it is the recycled skills it uses from the original Pirate skills… I just think the idea is very lacking in that no new skills could be made for Pirate, but I guess it would make sense that Pirates are limited in ideas for skills because of only two ways of attacking, knuckles and guns. Guns are often the favored weapon, so the concept continues here. Another reason why I would say Pirates are often the class with limited ideas is because Pirates are not as popular in the real world as warriors, mages, thieves, etc.
This is just all my speculation, so please feel free to debate whether my opinions are flawed or give any facts/ideas expanding from mine.
