Warena

Warena, the Meso Market NPC can be found in the Free Market. The things she say are sort of interesting… “If you wish to trade mesos for Maple Points, come find me.” If you talk to her though, she’ll say she is preparing her service so you should come see her soon.

Meso Market

An NPC where you can buy Maple Points for mesos? I never thought that would happen, haha. Although you can’t access it in game, this image is inside the wz files.

It seems that there will be a fluctuating price exchange. The above says that currently, 100 million mesos can be traded for ____ number of Points. There is also a 6% transaction fee. I wonder how they’ll determine the cost…

how is it gonna be useless?

      • einalwaysthere
        December 22, 2012 at 8:16 pm

Cause the fm rate would most likely to be better , and with actually nx you are enabled to more options like gifting etc

        • He Who States the Obvious
          December 22, 2012 at 11:30 pm

You can’t gift with Maple Points; gifting is only possible with pre-paid NX. Either way, this is a much-welcomed change, as it will prove to be a viable “meso-sink” to aid in the removal of inflation in the Maple economy.

          • December 26, 2012 at 7:04 am

dont joke yourselfs this isnt gonna come to GMS. Putting this on GMS would mean they would be Giving up the only way they make money, making people buy NX. and Hackers will Bots will have a enless supply of it. and they are the ones that buy nx for their main accounts.

    100 Million Mesos = 1 Maplepoint
    1 Billion Mesos = 10 Maplepoints
    10 Billion Mesos = 100 Maplepoints
    100 Billion Mesos = 1,000 Maplepoints

    • Max
      December 22, 2012 at 2:16 pm

Not correct, the picture has a large space for the number of Maple Points you will get from 100m, it’s not 1 Point lol.

well he isnt wrong nexon always Being a bunch of greedy bastards.

        • Bob
          December 26, 2012 at 12:25 pm

Nah, he is correct Nexon are greedy people, usually referring to Global Nexon. Knowing them, they are gonna fk over the exchange rate.
If KMS is 100mil for 10000 NX, GMS will be 100mil for 1000NX.

So in the end all the hackers will use those NX for cubes and crap lowering the price for good equips but because of the loss of mesos in the economy the items will go back up, so in the end if you expect the item to be cheap after this, then you are dreaming.

Lol, KMST getting ideas of how GMS pservers do these kinds of stuff. I guarantee it’ll depend on the meso exchange range in the KMS servers. For example… 5000 Maple points could be 50mil mesos n stuff.

NUUUUU Just not a speed reduction for Blade Dance

  11. SilverJack
    December 22, 2012 at 2:32 pm

Inb4 GMS doesn’t include the meso to point system. Nexon forbid they make Evans and Dual Blades free to play,

Also, I fail to see the point of Rocket. Don’t all the other skills offer better DPS, all without consuming energy that could be used for buffs?

  12. Anonymous
    December 22, 2012 at 4:14 pm

How is nexon gonna make a profit so that they can employ workers and pay for making new events, updates, and etc.

  13. SneebleDoo
    December 22, 2012 at 4:16 pm

If the damage on that rocket skill was decreased but one was fired at some kind of %chance everytime you hit a critical (like phantoms cards) then it could be REALLY cool!

  14. Anonymous
    December 22, 2012 at 4:22 pm

    100,000,000 mesos = 1000 maple points
    1,000,000,000 mesos = 10,000 maple points
    10,000,000,000 mesos = 100,000 maple points

Too bad max Integer is 2,147,483,647.
If anything, it will be buy and sell between players.

  15. December 22, 2012 at 4:32 pm

Max, can you get the complete set stats bonuses of an Empress set, if you have some equips for Pirate and others for Thief (though all Empress), for Xenon? And if you hold the skills that belong into the mode switch “group” you’ll activate the switch tactic?

    • Max
      December 22, 2012 at 4:41 pm

Nope, they’re still two different sets (Ravenhorn and Sharktail) so you’ll need the equipment from the specific set to activate the bonuses.

      Yeah.

    • Anonymous
      December 23, 2012 at 7:06 am

Chances are, the ratio from meso to maple points is gonna be ridiculously high. 1k ms point would probably cost an arm and an leg, so =/

Hi there! Just a question, but whats some starters? I just started a kms/gms blog and need some tips on how to get images and etc. But, sorry for asking, thanks 😀

    • December 23, 2012 at 7:35 pm

You could learn how to extract, or visit (http://www.southperry.net/portage.php) which is a site where Fiel extracts the latest GMS/GMST and KMS/KMST patches, but ask him first, if you can use his extractions, thanks him after each post for the data ‘n stuff. My personal tips, and of course having both accounts, some people only play GMS, and have no idea what they’re talking about KMS, yet they have a blog.

      • December 23, 2012 at 8:39 pm

yeah, im also a KMS player. Ill ask Fiel if I can. Thanks so much for the advice 🙂

I’m still confused about Xenon. If he uses LUK/DEX/STR, does that mean if you were to put let’s say 20%LUK on him, does that mean only one mode of skills would be high?

  45. Durian
    December 26, 2012 at 11:01 am

According to leafre.net its 100 Million MEso for 1 Maple point haha. Would make sense if it was more like 30-40 Million meso to 1K Maple points but I wonder if it reflects on KMS econ.

    • Max

      • Durian
        December 26, 2012 at 1:04 pm

My bad, I hope they bring this system into GMS with a realistic rate. Seeing how players can sell Cash items inside shops in KMS but not in GMS only makes one feel that Nexon tends to use the American market as a cash cow.

  46. Bob
    December 26, 2012 at 12:31 pm

Basing off what Max stated about the space in the text where the Maple Points should go, if i have to assume what the price is gonna be i would say around 10k. If you look closely at the second line and the way it ended with that gap, you have to assume the left side has about the same gap. so if you try to plug in some number it should be about that much. UNLESS, they write the MP price in korean……

  47. Suhro
    December 29, 2012 at 3:07 am

Dont get too excited over the maple points exchange system. GMS is well known for its greed, i don’t think GMS is so kind to have that system. It may be rejected for all the other versions, so GMS might not get that exchange system at all.. 😡
Or they would change the npc to Maple Points exchange to Mesos system. Who knows?

  48. Lol Greedy Ass Nexon
    December 31, 2012 at 6:39 pm

    >GMS

    >Meso to Maplepoint conversion system

    >Enables you to get Cash shop items without paying actual money

    >Lol

The day Nexon does this and ignores it’s impending greed is the day the day the world will truly end.

    January 3, 2013 at 8:39 pm

    >meso to maple exchange
and yet it looks like it’s only useful to the comically rich. sounds like an attempt to combat the devaluing of the meso.

    probably won’t make much difference.
