KMS ver. 1.2.416 – MapleStory Overdrive: Ruler of Covenants, Lethe!
The first patch of the MapleStory Overdrive update has been released, featuring the new Demon magician job, Lethe, the Ruler of Covenants! There’s also a ton of QoL improvements, system updates, and events like Challengers World season 4.
As many of you have noticed, this post took a while to come out (it’s been like 2 weeks since the patch came out). I’ve actually been super busy in real life with my j*b as well as actually playing the game myself, not to mention these patch notes were really long. It’ll probably be similar for future posts as well, especially since the next patch will feature the new 3rd Hexa skill core with two test patches. Not sure how I’ll be doing those since I haven’t been doing KMST posts for a while, but I guess we’ll see…
Read more…KMS ver. 1.2.402 – Skill/UI Changes & MapleStory’s 22nd Anniversary: Maple University!
The MapleStory’s 22nd Anniversary: Maple University event has begun! It’s honestly a little barebones but Changseop said to look forward to the second half in May as they will be adding more. Of course, this patch contains the skill balancing (with additional changes from KMST), the UI reorganization, the new Maple Home system, the updated MVP system, and more.
The next live server patch is on May 21 so we can expect a KMST patch on May 14. They said in the Maple Now that it wouldn’t be as big as this patch, but I’m sure it will still have some interesting content.
Read more…KMST ver. 1.2.186 – Huge Skill Changes and UI Reorganization!
Following up on the March update that surprised everyone with the Star Force reorganization, Director Changseop has followed it up with another huge off season patch (and a Maple Now stream like usual). This time, it was a full skill balancing that changes all classes to 2 minute cycles and updating most of the game’s UIs! It also includes the Maple Home system (KMS’ version of the overseas My Home system) which I’ve been asking for for so many years and a big update to the MVP system.
This patch will be coming to the official server next week which could bring some additional changes. It starts off the MapleStory 22nd anniversary: Maple University, and I’ll cover that event in the next post.

The second patch of the MapleStory Savior update has been released, featuring the new job Khali, the Wind of Revenge, a High-Lef thief class. They also added the next 5 weeks of the Wongstaurant’s Special Menu events.
I believe Kalos had 2 weeks in the test server before the official release so the next test server update, for Kaling, should be on February 9!

The first patch of the MapleStory Savior update has been released! It includes various improvements to the overall growth experience, the Star Force system, and many skill changes. The main event for this winter, Fairy Wonky’s Wongstaurant, has also begun!
I tried out some new things in the post including anchor links to/from the overview, which I think will be pretty useful. Also I decided to stop covering Cash Shop updates since the rotations are never the same for every version lol. However, I’ll still add the more important information such as new Master Label/vac pet rotations and things like the BLACKPINK collaboration.
