Looks like a new skill for ice/lightning Archmages! I think it’s pretty cool actually, especially the freeze effect~ I wonder if they’ll be updating the effects for all skills? My Hurricane definitely feels puny compared to Ring of Ishtar and Sky’s Song, haha.

If this is a replacement for my hyper skill. I’ll take it!. I hope its something from the fifth job though, but I also think that they would revamp everyone first and add all 5th jobs to everyone.
How long since you play Maplestory ? Until now still on the 5th job rubbish.
Well I won’t argue with your username. If you haven’t been following, at the end of the RED-update presentation where they said “And then… V”, what else could V stand for in an update that’s going to be really big. Name something that’s its the number 5 of something or is call “V” for it to be shown at the end of the presentation to be so important other than the 5th job.

I actually like the I/L Hyper Skill that we have now, I hope they don’t change it
Agreed. It has some Lightning and Ice animation. Fits perfectly for a ice/lightning. But I have this feeling that image up there might be a replacement for Big Bang. That skill is pretty much never used. Who wants a skill they dont use? So hopefully, that is a replacement for Big Bang.
If it has increase damage and it last for sometime like the current hyper skill does, I wouldn’t mind the change. I really like the current but if everyone will complain how the make the changes (this one being perfectly fine) then there should be no revamp and let the pro classes be pro. I wouldn’t mind for it being a replace to a skill or like I said before, to be part of the expected 5th job and it looks kind of powerful to be just a skill to replace one of our current ones.

I actually thought it would be the Nova mage at first, but given that the Dark Knight skill showed up so close to it.. it just makes me think they’re gonna be releasing a bunch of previews for fifth job/adventurer revamps until a patch comes.~

You the nova mage does make sence since there’s the fire Mage and blaze wizard and you see a dragon! So if its really a new class then were fu*ked 🙂 jk that still be awesome

…No, Hurricane animation is perfect how it is. Ring is a bit big, and the Wind Archer skill is just an abomination.
I’m really tired of all the ‘new skill, must be twice as large as existing’ trend, and I don’t want to see it destroy what is really one of the nicer animations maple has.

Dam… why ice/lightnings. We NLs need to be revamped first. MAges and Warriors are always the first revamped. CANT THEY BE DIFFERENT FOR ONCE AND MAKE THE OTHER JOBS FIRST!!
I swear, they better not do the same shet during the JUMP patch… Revamped Warriors, Mages, and Archers, and never revamped Thieves and Pirates… until half a year later. And even in the half year later, the Warriors, Mages, and Archers get revamped once again before we even get ours, which we never even got…
But knowing Nexon, they will do the same shet… Revamp half the Adventurers, and then makes some stupid new “GOD” Job and forget us once again… Forever forgotten in the corner…
They wouldn’t do that as they already show all classes and block thiefs and pirates as well as the other classes. and thief and pirates got greater changes than the rest of the classes. sure it took them a long time but it was a good change ( i guess? ) at least they gave them more power. But I’m sure they won’t do that again.
Obviously you never play a thief or pirate adventurer before. We had just 1 revamp and that revamp did not solve the issues. You on the other hand had 3-4 revamps now.
Why the heck do you think of the Justice? You know mages, warrior and bowman got a revamp 1 month before us as well. You guys had 4 revamps and you are still qqing

If I had both a DK and an I/L and got to choose between the two new skills, I’d choose the DK. While I/L definitely gets a more flashy skill, it’s boring. A large, one-directional blast, probably dealing high damage, that freezes. Well, freeze is essentially useless given that every mob that doesn’t die in one hit is freeze-immune now anyway. The DK skill is unique and will define the class; almost every class now has some kind of massive damage ability, so what I/Ls are getting is nothing special.
So your basically saying versus helping friends on a boss run, Youd rather be that guy in the park and say hold on 1sec guys ill help after I die LOL.
Kinda embarrassing more than defining the class of drk.

it might be a hurricane skill when the dragon breaths it looks like he could stay like that till u let go of the button 😛

if im correct this move only freezes and doesn’t hit ( im not 100% sure)
but what i do know is that chain lightning is gonna be weaker after the revamp
(so is angel ray for bishops)
