A new diary entry shows our first peek at the Night Lord update! The image is called Showdown Challenge, and Showdown is the kMS name for Taunt, so maybe this is the new version? It looks sort of like a binding skill.

You thick, bro? Throwing knives are first and foremost knives, or daggers if double-edged. Assassins in this game just have a different way of attacking with knives; they throw them, while bandits slash and stab with them. Look up a diamond dagger and a steely. The length of the handles may differ slightly, but they are both daggers.

Daggers are knives, idiot. All daggers are knives, but not all knives are daggers. If it’s double edged and you can stab someone with it, it’s basically a dagger. A kunai is a type of dagger. Maybe you should read that link you shared. It even said a kunai is a tool that’s made for thrusting and stabbing, although they’re commonly believed to be more of a throwing weapon.

ACTUALLY Kunai are technically a modified Trowel, not a dagger, or a knife. Also, Dagger =/= knife. The are closely related, but they aren’t synonymous.

I think what OP is trying to say here is that I/Ls are still pretty bad even with the revamp because Frozen Orb still does very little damage and Freezing Breath still does zero damage.
Well freezing breath is a party skill pretty good if you are with a party if not then don’t make it your priority while leveling skills…. and frozen orb attacks really fast. what will you argue next? oh is not as strong as rapid fire or any of the other fast-attacking skills well you can still used other skills like the greatly improved chain lightning!

funny… you didn’t even read what he linked to fully huh? first few lines in has “The kunai is not a knife, but something more akin to a crowbar” and even says its original use is for gardening… its like if someone picked up a trowel and used it for stabbing and thrusting. and finally the wiki ends the first part by saying the exact opposite “Contrary to popular belief, they were not designed to be used primarily as throwing weapons, though they can be thrown and cause damage. Instead, they are a thrusting and stabbing implement.”
funny? it’s merely a farmer’s tool until it’s sharpened, just like how a single-edged knife is just a knife until it’s sharpened on the other side, which it becomes a dagger. Ninjas turned common farming tools into weapons, like nails into stars. “Many ninja developed weapons that were merely adapted farming tools… Since kunai were cheaply produced farming tools of a decent size and weight, and could be easily sharpened, they were readily available to be converted into simple weapons.” If it has a handle and an edge, it’s a knife. what’s so hard to understand?

Do you even understand the meaning of “technically”? It means the exact meaning of something. The person that’s “technically” right is me. Kunais ARE “technically” daggers if sharpened on both sides. I know Shadowers use daggers, but that doesn’t mean Night Lords aren’t throwing daggers “technically. ”
Just be grateful that you were schooled by me. You would be less ignorant if you simply accepted the fact that anything with a point, double-edged, and a handle(regardless of the length of the handle), is a dagger. That includes a kunai. Lesson’s over and You’re welcome, son.

To be fair, there’s a dagger which look like a Kunai in MapleStory, while the throwing star that look like Kunai would be steely.
Yes, it’s called the diamond dagger, as I have stated already. This ignorant kid kept denying the facts, even after being schooled. It’s clearly a double-edged weapon being used in the animation, so it’s “technically” a dagger. ***If he wants to get technical with Maplestory terms, he shouldn’t even be calling the weapon in the animation a “kunai”; he would have to call it a “star” and it would be pretty stupid because it doesn’t look like a star. Shadowers don’t use stars(except for the smokescreen skill’s animation and the generic thief skill).*** What’s funny is that he even said a Kunai is a “throwing knife.” Daggers ARE knives( which he won’t accept), so Shadowers are indeed knives-user, as are Night Lords with their “steelies” and “infinite throwing knives.”
TL;DR. If you call the giant thing in the animation a kunai, then it should also be okay to call it a dagger because it’s a double-edged tool. If you want to get technical with Maplestory terms, then call it a “star”, not a “throwing knife”, because IIRC Assassins use “throwing stars” in-game.

The fact that you’re saying “being schooled” implies you to be more of a child. You’re even bringing this up past any comment I ever made just to look good. In fact, Spadow’s “hurrdurr fuck blogging” moment is likely the reason why this blog was well received in the first place, not to mention why Spadow’s “back” as opposed to actually having been around all this time (because apparently Jewtoob doesn’t count).
