MapleStory 2 Supporters’ Day #04: Contents!
One more Supporters’ Day video was released on the website today, this one titled Contents. It covers MapleStory 2’s customization, methods of movement, bonus stages, the housing system, and creating minigames and dungeons.
At around 5 minutes, they use footage from a private server called LucidMS LOL. Anyways I think there’s one more video, that has to do with the bosses.
This video has a lot of information which is not written in text, which I will not be translating, but I did cover a lot of what they said in my Supporters’ Day post, so check that out for more information.
Character Customizing
MapleStory’s customizing is varied and unique.

LucidMS like its predecessors Eden, and Arcane, and the forerunner to Luna, all shut down because the owners steal its players money after months upon months of receiving donations. Just a warning to all you people.
I think most of the ppl already know this plus his/her server are god damn easy.
So what? If you join the servers in the beginning they get boring after a couple of months. A fresh start twice a year is better than what extalia does.
Could you please take your bullshit about private servers somewhere else?

I reaaally don’t like how Nexon is following through with this thigh thing with girls. They would have been better off sharing the same models with males. When NA gets MS2, there may be an uproar (have you seen what’s been going on lately with women and thighs? It’s practically a movement and all over facebook).
No, I hated the fact that females had the same body sprite in MS1, and it would look even weirder in this game since it’s 3D. Women in real in life are supposed to have a body of a woman, not a man, to be honest more people would complain if females shared the same body model as males. (Not saying women in real life can’t have a male like body and I’m not discriminating against them either, it’s not really a common thing or something they can control really)
I don’t think the female models should look the same as the male ones, but they do NOT need to give the female models huge thighs. I do agree with you there. There are other ways to show gender differences. Large thighs are not a necessity. All they really need are visible hips and breasts, because those would just show differences rather than just be some weird fanservice thing. I really don’t like it, and hope it changes before release.

Whats with all the maplestory 2 garbage? Have developers given up on maplestory at this point, its been almost 2 years with no sign of 5th job. Not to mention the last updates we had in the past 8 months have been nothing but lackluster and just put together hastily to keep the community satisfied temporarily.

It is garbage. It’s garbage because they seem to refuse to touch ms1 much anymore because of this game. They may claim it’s a different team, but then why have ms1 updates been junk since this was announced, and why do we seem to get updates about ms2 all the time? I’m sick of it, too.
Opinions are not factual you dolt, a lot the gameplay feature that game shows appeals to a lot of people. If you don’t like that’s your problem not everyone else’s.
No one said they were. But there was no need for the insult. I never bashed the gameplay, just stated what seems to be a fact–they don’t seem to be bothering much with ms1 because they’re funding ms2. This is what was garbage, not ms2. We’ll see if it’s true when ms2 comes out. If ms1 suddenly gets updates that are good again, we’ll know it was ms2.

Well unlike you the game appeals to many people because of the gameplay they’ve shown us. And it is a different team that is working on MS2, MS1 team is just too incompetent to release any good updates this time around.
If it really isn’t the same team, then the funding from ms1 is going there. There has to be some reason why ms2 has a bunch of news, and they only do stuff that involves percent changes. I don’t think they’re out of ideas. Why you people seem to think I’m attacking the gameplay of ms2 is beyond me, since all I said is that it’s garbage that they won’t touch ms1 anymore. No, I don’t like ms2s gameplay thus far, but I would never call it garbage.

It’s not confirmed, but it just matches up too well. Either the ideas go to ms2, or the funding does. It’s one of those things.

I want to know the same thing. They say MS2 is a different dev team, but if that really is the case, then why have the lack of good updates coincided with the development of MS2? We used to get new areas, class overhauls, New characters, and new features that are pretty big. Now, we get nothing but percentage changes, for the most part. Friends Story was about the only new area lately that looked big, and that is just a theme dungeon. If it supposedly is a different team, then why is the summer update so bad? It’s percent changes again, a Cassandra condo (like ms really needs an event area over new areas..), and a Evo lab nerf (less time and less amount of times it can be entered is not a benefit) And the odds are for the story patch that it’s one theme dungeon. Which is fine and all, so long as other content would be added with it. But it won’t be. Though it would be cool if they did actually redo the stories like they want to in that patch (which would excuse the silence, as that’s actually pretty big), but the odds are against it. And they change the points needed for skills and then say 5th job is really low priority? >_<. It gave hope they were bothering, but nope. No 5th job, no new class, no new areas. Just more of the same junk we've been getting since ms2 was announced. Coincidence? I think not.
how hard is it for u ppl to beleive nexon?it seems that u dont understand that the reson ms1 team being slow its because thier fking working on the 5th jobs i mean 4th jobs took long time and thier were only explorers
This still doesn’t convince me to play this. The block look still looks like junk to me, and dragging blocks around looks weird during game play. It makes the world look artificial. The hair options are nice, but it should only.be available at the start of the game or in a barber shop or something. Hair changing on the fly is weird. They still haven’t made this game look appealing to me, and I don’t think they can. There is such a thing as TOO quirky.
