KMST ver. 1.2.025 – Resistance Warrior, Blaster!
A new test server patch has been released, featuring the new Resistance warrior Blaster! It is an extension of the base Resistance, joining Battle Mage, Wild Hunter, and Mechanic.
There are no extractions yet so I don’t have many values or animations.
Resistance Warrior – Blaster
Blaster is the new Resistance warrior who uses a new two-handed weapon called the Gauntlet Revolver. His secondary weapon is the Explosive Pill. He uses warrior equipment.
The Revolver has two types of resources, Bullets and the Cylinder Gauge. Through melee combat, the Revolver will use bullets (the circles) to fire cannon shots when you use the skill Revolving Cannon. Each time you do so, your Cylinder Gauge (top bar) will be charged up by 1. When it is full, you can unleash a devastating attack.
Blaster’s job instructor is Elex, who was hinted towards being the warrior instructor since the Resistance first came out.
1st Job
Magnum Punch: Using the Gauntlet Revolver’s explosive power, use a powerful straight punch in front of you. While using this skill, you can use Revolving Cannon. This skill can be linked to Double Fang. (max level: 20)
- Level 1:
- Level 20: Deals 75% damage 3 times on up to 6 enemies. If Revolving Cannon is used while using Magnum Punch, enemies will take an extra 40% damage 3 times.
Revolving Cannon: Use the Gauntlet Revolver’s built-in cannon to cause additional explosions to deal damage. This skill cannot be used alone, it must be used while performing other attacks (Magnum Punch, Double Fang, Revolving Bunker). If you hold the key down, you can reload your bullets. (max level: 1)
- Level 1: Consumes 1 bullet. If you hold the key down, your bullets will be reloaded.
Release Pile Bunker: Use your charged up Cylinder Gauge to release a pile bunker at your enemies. The pile bunker will explode, creating a shock wave. Pile Bunker will directly hit enemies, ignoring some of their defenses. The Cylinder Gauge’s bullets will be used and stack with this skill. Based on the Cylinder Gauge when this skill is used, multiple shock waves may be created, inflicting more damage on nearby enemies. You must have a certain amount of Cylinder Gauge to use this skill, and it will not activate Damage Reflect. (required skill: level 5 Revolving Cannon Mastery) (max level: 10)
- Level 1:
- Level 10: Minimum 3 Cylinder Gauge required. Deals 100% damage 8 times on up to 10 enemies, ignoring 60% of their defense. A shock wave A will be created afterwards, dealing 50% damage 6 times on up to 10 enemies. After being used, the Cylinder Gauge will be charged to its maximum for 7 seconds, during which Release Pile Bunker cannot be used.
Double Jump: While jumping, jump once more in the air. (max level: 10)
- Level 1:
- Level 10: Press jump while in the air to jump once more.
Explosion Move: By exploding bullets in front of you, thrust yourself backwards. When you move backwards, enemies hit by the explosion will take damage. If this skill is used while holding the ↑ arrow key, the explosion will occur right below you and cause you to move upwards. This skill will not activate Damage Reflect. (max level: 10)
- Level 1:
- Level 10: Consumes 1 bullet. Deals 155% damage 2 times on up to 6 enemies.
Endurance Shield: When you are hit by an enemy, exert your persistence and create a shield proportional to the damage received. In addition, while Blaster is using skills, enemy attacks cannot knock you back. The instant the shield is created, you will not take damage. (max level: 10)
- Level 1:
- Level 10: When hit by an enemy, convert 40% of the damage taken into a shield. Every second, 15% + 50 of the shield will disappear. There is a 40% chance of not being knocked back by enemy attacks, and while you are using skills, there is a 100% chance of not being knocked back by enemy attacks. Your defense is increased by 200 and your maximum HP is increased by 20%.
Revolving Cannon Mastery: Research the Gauntlet Revolver, increasing your basic knowledge about the Revolving Cannon. When attacking enemies with the overheated Gauntlet Revolver (Magnum Punch, Double Fang, Hammer Smash, Shock Wave Punch, Hurricane Mixer), gain extra hits and damage based on the accumulated Cylinder Gauge. (max level: 5)
- Level 1:
- Level 5: If you have at least 1 Cylinder Gauge, your attacks will deal an extra 75% damage 1 time. For each Cylinder Gauge you have, your damage will be increased by 10%. Your speed is increased by 30, jump by 15, and maximum speed by 20.

dumbass
lol rekt m8
nigga plz
There’s only two jobs so far?
Added the rest 🙂
how nice
not first
Bullet gauntlet, huh? So basically Yang Xiao Long.
Actually, this weapon looks more like the one use in one of the mecha franchise, Super Robot War, Alteisen’s right Arm. In fact, the design is almost exactly the same, a nail and a revolver.
nice to see i wasnt the only one making the yang connection. odds are when this hits global there will be a slew of yang clones being made
I can’t wait to try Blaster in KMS!! Looks amazing!
whats link skill?
well since she is apart of the main resistance, as a warrior.. (More Like a Pirate rofl)
I’m guessing there will be a thief too?
resistance link skill I assume. Invincibility frames after respawning
Cool you can now have up to 8 sec invincible frames now lolz…. it getting there
Yep they have the same Link Skill as Battle Mage/Wild Hunter/Mechanic.
It’s like yellow from RWBY!
Yang Xiao Long
lol I was thinking it was like Genos from One Punch Man xD
Yes! That class is my jam! Now, I only have to wait 6 months… oh… And it isin’t even out in kms… oh…
Noooooooooooo!
This class sounds like mixture of both old school pirates, I’m loving this idea and can’t wait for it on gms!
Duck and Sway huh. DFO monk class?
RWBY?
So this is basically RWBY Yang?
How about instead of releasing new classes, focus on refining and maintaining the crap ton of classes we have now? Geez, how many more classes are we going to get?
Oh…and uh, Nexon maybe instead of spending all your time on releasing new classes, you should spend time on the 5th job advancement…
link skill and character card?
Link Skill is the same as Battle Mage/Wild Hunter/Mechanic, no character card yet.
I just want for them to release a thief, mage and archer class for the Nova jobs
Those, and a freaking 3rd adventure bowman. They are all over the place with these classes. Got classes like Kinesis and etc coming out while still leaving big ole holes in the natural flow chart for jobs.
Could have just made Kinesis a nova magician.
Dude, kenisis isn’t even based off thee same universe as the nova.. so no they couldn’t..
seconded (although that concept art for blaster…) and i wouldn’t mind an official thief class for resistance either. Xenon is really cool but not quite resistance and not even just thief.
The Nova classes have so much potential though. A while new world thats barely been explored.. I wouldn’t mind a class to come from that fox people world who help Eunwol. Both Kaiser and AB are transformation classes, it could be a theme!
aaaand don’t forget about Sengoku classes. I think they have potential. Are they even planning on making Ayame a fully developed class? 😦 She deserves to be more than just some minor character you play in a theme dungeon. >_> And what about Sengoku archer and theif? I’m dying for those as well…
Sengoku is jms, and is honestly pretty dumb. I’d have been happier if gms has ignored them.
Their gameplay is pretty good. I know a few people who started playing again solely because of Hayato. But I don’t think they fit well into the story.
Welp they exist in GMS regardless of your opinion so whatcha gonna do about it? 😛
Besides, I can’t speak for every Maplers but about 90% of the people I know in the game rely on Kanna like drugs so if GMS for some odd reason ever decide to take them away they will get mad to say the least.
Yea I do wish they would bring Ayame into the game fully as well as the other sengoku characters.
It also bothers me that they rushed the magician and thief cygnus classes and they didn’t get any offical gender swapped art, but that’s not as big a deal as all the other stuff.
Ninja from sengoku? Dark lord will be mad :3
P.s. I actually want archer from sengoku to be normal, I mean, no flashy skills, no multi hitting, no rain arrows etc, just plain normal human wielding bow and arrows to hide and hit :33
Oh thank god. The auction house update is magnificent. I’m a bit pissed over the removal of bidding, I used it every time I put up a piece of gear I couldn’t decide a price on. Now without it i’m gonna be stuck throwing gear up randomly till it sticks and finds a seller.
Good luck on your exams, max!
Thanks! 🙂
For some reason she reminds me of Tomoe Mami
its the outfit… and the confidence!
Yeah probably.
I mean her hair’s nothing like Mami’s but her pose, the shape of the eyes and outfit, her gentle smile, etc. REALLY resembles Mami. I know it’s kinda stupid but I’m really interested in this class solely for that reason. XD
No, i think that’s a valid reason! Although i’m not sure we will actually be able to wear that outfit. Still, I think its completely reasonable to get excited about a class because their concept art is cool!
Woah woah woah.
Does this mean Elex doesn’t have an axe on a chain as a weapon anymore?
He ditched that baby stuff for a fist
with a gun
annnd bullets.
my new main
My new waifu ❤
Ehh…judging on gameplay I’m not feeling this class at all…the playstyle imo just isn’t there!
Aaaaand basically this is like RWBY Yang, or Genos from OPM.
The moment you realise Elex is the job NPC.
I can already see all the Yang Xiao Long clones.
… Aren’t they basically a pirate with guns attached to their knuckles (Ember Celica).
They’re mere fancy dragon warriors
The power of Yang Xiao Long but the appearance of Strength(BRS)’s gauntlets. Pretty nice. = u =
This job is ‘meh’ IMO
omg, i wanna try it but i can’t get past the fucking korean captchas on kms -.-
honestly, you will master korean typing within a little more than half an hour, no kidding
Come on, new warrior? Stop making new warrior or Mage and fill the space like Nova. Also Resistance already have enough warrior class, especially 2 demons.
and what’s the point of making this like Pirate, we already have one, geez =_=
They put blaster into resistancr warrior to kick demons out of resistance to fit the story of new blockbuster.
Blasters were orginally programmed as pirates as you can see from the initial kms glitch that their Empress set was named as Sharktooth…
So what’s going to be thief class now… Daggers or what? I personally have some want to see chemical warfare in this…
You know, Black cloth wrapped on the face and a whip, new Thief 🙂
I mean technically Xenon is part theif… and uses a Whip Blade.
Bandai called – they want their money for ripping off one of their robots.
That change to the Demon’s level 200 hyper…
Why?
Since both male and female Blaster’s have unique hair and face styles from the other resistance classes, I was wondering if KMS added Blaster’s hairstyle for both genders to the Resistance classes selection of starting hairs/faces? Or are the hair style choices the same for the Resistance classes?
The reason I ask is because KMS added the New Wild Hunter, Battle Mage, and Mechanic hairs as possible choices for a newly created Resistance character to have, when they updated the Resistance classes. In this case it would make sense for KMS to add male and female Blaster’s hair/faces to the game since it’s a new class.
They have not added their hairs/faces to creation, but they probably will in a later patch.
By the way, what exactly does this mean:
Clean Slate Scrolls and Innocent Scrolls can now be used in the Scroll Trace enhancement UI.
Does it just mean we can access our clean slates and innocents from the UI for convenient clean slating and innocencing, or can we now use Spell Traces for clean slate and innocencing purposes?
I checked and now you can create 30% Innocent Scrolls/5% Clean Slate Scrolls using Scroll Traces!
Do they have a chance to boom or not at all?
No chance to boom
does diligence and guild skill affect these success rates?
No, only Fever Time
First job: Omahgawd I need this
second job: Whoa nevermind
third: ehhh
fourth: Holy balls, playing this
Also, y u no pirate? You attached guns to your knuckles, you’re a warrior now? What?
And Nexon, it’s been more than five years now since the last archer. It’s really time. There are more than twice as many warriors now.
As much as I agree that we need another archer, 2011 was not more than 5 years ago.
Seriously though, why can’t we get more archers? There are so many warriors, a lot of pirates, a lot of mages, and a good amount of thieves. We have 5 archers. 5. This brings the warrior count up to 12.
Thieves:
Night Lord
Shadower
Blade Master
Night Walker
Phantom
Xenon
6 awesome thieves (5.5 actually) is a good amount, yet 5 boring old archers isn’t enough?
The literal only difference between the two roster-wise is that there is one more adventurer thief.
Biased Archer is biased
12 warriors? Up until 2011, there were always equal amounts of warriors and mages, then they began making at least 50% more warriors than mages
Let’s see
Arch Mage (Ice/Lightning)
Arch Mage (Fire/Poison)
Bishop
Blaze Wizard
Battle Mage
Evan
Luminous
Kinesis
Warriors:
Hero
Paladin
Dark Knight
Dawn Warrior
Mihile
Blaster
Demon Slayer
Demon Avenger
Aran
Kaiser
Zero
In kms they were each tied at 6 in Legends, since then, they added 2 mages and 5 warriors… No fking fair
This game was ALWAYS biased to mages and warriors, what we REALLY need is for mages to catch up, so they’re equals again..,
Mages are the only ones who have EVER used Magic Attack or INT, we need them to at least be TIED for the most reps out of every branch!
Shut up,it is only decided my nexon noob
‘Mages are the only ones who use magic attack’
Which is why I and so many people think they might change that eventually. A magic thief is something they could pull off, Luck does calc into magic like dex does to physical. I even suggested a magic wielding warrior before this patch.
Another thing I’d like to see from nexon concerning magic and weapon attack is some type of skill that gives a multiplier in some wands and Staves to actually use their physical att(at certain intervals) to have an effect on the mage itself. For example, for BaM, let’s say for every 2 or so Weapon att on your staff(at base, so that things like primes won’t be a problem) you get a certain amount of magic att. For something like Bishops, you might get damage absorbtion%, for I/L you’d get crit rate, F/P mages get Pdr, Lumi gets buff duration, etc. It would be interesting to experiment.
Then my primed wand will be gawdlee af. Primes do both attack stats instead of one or the other.
Oops, forgot i changed tags cause someone else took Dark Evan. That was me^^^^
OoOoOoOoOh baby I was right! It wasn’t another Demon class.
This looks really great, it looks like the a thief and Warrior mix, but the opposite of Kaiser- pure power, high avoid, a bind, and great mobbing capability!
My Hope for the Character card is Guard chance(including Hp% attacks), FA chance increase, or Max damage cap.(Link skill is confirmed to be the same as other resistance classes, just increased by another lvl for the total effect, so more invincibility!) It may seem strange, but my thought process is like this-
1. Guard chance because a lot of different things involved in this class involve avoiding attacks it has many skills that attribute to that, similar to how certain classes have similar things going on with their skills(mercedes has cooldown reduce with reducing combo skills, Drkn has Hyper body with Hp% card, etc.) You also need to charge, so you avoid.
2. Max damage cap is something that may seem silly, but now that they reduced the value to a percent instead of a total number, the card could go something like ‘+1%, +2%, +3%, +5% of your max damage.’ That would be nice, and make more people go for the card.
Those two in particular make the most sense as of right now. Skills look good, though as of this post, Max has only got up to the third jobs skills, so I won’t judge until they release the full notes. I don’t know if you get this alot, but thank you Max.
Well I was excited at first but after seeing it I can tell it’s gonna suck.
Most their skills look like they should be some awesome rush attack or something but yet you stand in one place. Garbage.
I don’t see why we need a new Resistance Warrior. We have Demon Slayer/Avenger. Edelstein is also free as of Black Heaven. Don’t get me wrong, I like the class and the concept, but I feel like this is a waste of time to make a new class when we could be getting through the storyline.
It seems really mediocre so far. I think I’m gonna be skipping this one when it comes to GMS.
Have to agree with you
Clean Slate Scrolls and Innocent Scrolls can now be used in the Scroll Trace enhancement UI.
So what does this mean? Does it mean you can now use spell trace to scroll your equips with CSS and Innocence?
I checked and now you can create 30% Innocent Scrolls/5% Clean Slate Scrolls using Scroll Traces!
hi my niggies
…Kyosuke Nanbu would be fucking proud.
Quick question: why we don’t have the Maple Auction system in GMS?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/2k1or8/im_your_maplestory_community_manager_artasi_amaa/clj0of1
Artasi (Community manager for GMS up until like a week ago) said “it was riddled with bugs that makes it nearly impossible to use” (flat out lie). My guess is it would cut into the insane profits they make off of selling shops. Maybe one day, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up. GMS is still behind the times using an old version of the cash shop, that caused a rather hilarious exploit with an overflow allowing you to buy 99 black cubes on reboot, AND get 2.1b from it too.
Oh! I see. Thank you for your quick response.
What happened to Artasi tho? Fired?
He was mysteriously “on his last day” a few days after reboot came out on GMS, and its absolutely horrendous launch. Most people are speculating he was forced to resign, but it’s entirely possible he just moved on to another job as he said.
Nah, he got fired rofl, he was a crappy CM, there were only a few times he did things right, he probably got fired for the big hyper rock argument cause he denied that he ever said “hyper rocks will never come back” when he posted in reddit when he first became a CM saying “they’ll never be back”
He moved to Blizzard
Artasi is a crappy CM. The way he talked to people is condescending.
AND Reboot is a great world. Ain’t nothing wrong with it! There’s not even a need for the auction system.
Why are people saying this should be a pirate? Pirates are not the only ones fighting with their fists, and warriors are not the only ones fighting with swords. In many games, characters such as this would fall in the “monk” category.
As for Nexon releasing another warrior for the Resistance, it’s merely to release a warrior class that is always unlocked. If I am correct, “hero” classes, like the Maple heroes, Demon, the Novas, Xenon, Zero, Mihile, Kinesis, and in some versions, Beast Tamer & Sengoku, are locked most of the time. So it would be quite weird for people who want a warrior in the Resistance to wait for a class to be unlocked.
Perhaps they will release normal Novas as well. Because Kaiser & AB looks like the equivalent of the Maple heroes instead of average folks. The only factions I am expecting to never be finished are the “God”, Kinesis, and filler classes coming from other versions. Sengoku & Beast Tamer are in their own factions, and I doubt they’ll ever be complete (which is a shame since they could receive faction bonuses for using their cards).
It’s probably because of knuckle users.
Buccs and shades both use a fist-like weapon, like this class’s weapon.
… Though they don’t really use their fists, lol (only in a couple of non 4 job skills)
Meh, if I want mad punchers I’ll stick to Shade/Bucc. Great concept though i’ll give them that.
Personally, if I wanted a mad puncher class, I’d stick to this class.
Shade/Bucc don’t REALLY use their fists, they… mostly summon things to do their attacks.
If fact, I think nowadays, bucc is the only lazor class, lol
Well neither do these new “Blasters” use their bare fists but instead a combination of a gun gauntlet and explosive bullets. But as I said before: great concept.
5% success rate for each Clean Slate Scroll seems a bit too low for me.
I wonder if 10% Clean Slate Scrolls are still available from Elite Bosses after this update, just as Chaos Scrolls are still available.
Whut ? Max Level is 200 instead of 250 ? Nexon Korea, why ?

You have to remember its Kmst. The Testing server, a temporary demo practically. You won’t play long enough to get to 250 anyway, and if you did, what would be the point? You get to 250 before you play in the main event? What would be the point?
Still funny as hell tho XD
Lol I didn’t even realize that, it’s a mistake I think.
Max, I love you will you marry me?
When will they buff Zero for end game?
That weapon is ridiculous looking. I know resistance is all about technological innovations, but the design is stupid. They could have just used good old knuckles, instead of inventing a new weapon every time a new job comes out.
why don’t you add emblems for all jobs?
You’re not serious? The only ones without any as of now are the Cygnus, Kinesis, and Zero, and i was hoping for at least a full month of resistance/Cygnus not having any after the heroes got theirs. I mean, the adventurers got theirs 2 and a half years before anyone else… But now all I can hope for is that the Cygnus emblems won’t bei a thing til January. I’m fine with Kinesis and Zero having their turn in the mean time, but the legendary classes should have their time to shine for a lil’ while…
Question, can Blasters equip other warrior weapons? Not asking if they can necessary use them to attack, but can they wear them at all?
I tried out a one-handed sword and it worked so I’m assuming they can equip all warrior weapons 🙂
ONE PUNCH
MAN
I feel so restless waiting for it to be released in GMS.. Whenn?!! Tbh, the character model and overall game style was what got me.
