MapleStory’s 21st anniversary, the Victoria Cup event, has begun! Coinciding with Nexon’s 30th anniversary, it is a collaboration with other Nexon games that features special rewards, minigames, and cosmetics. This patch also contains the Suu remaster, together with a special event for the first players that can solo the new Extreme Mode difficulty!

There was a minor patch for KMST a couple of days ago that generally buffed Extreme Suu, so I’ll include that at the start of this post. And they buffed the HP again going into the live server! :ohnah:

Suu Remaster

Suu (Common)

• Fixed an issue where Suu would instantly cast patterns upon entering the boss battle map.
• Fixed an issue where certain patterns’ debuffs were still applied while casting skills that defended against status effects.
• Fixed an issue where the same pattern would sometimes be activated consecutively.
• Fixed an issue where the horizontal bombardment would sometimes stop while firing when in a party of 2 or more players.
• Fixed an issue where system messages were displayed when attack patterns were cast.
• Fixed an issue where after using Eunwol’s Soul Splitter, certain patterns’ hit damage would stack.
• In Phase 1, it has been changed so that the falling exploding objects pattern no longer activates during the horizontal bombardment.
• In Phase 2, the resurrection location has been changed.
• Fixed an issue in Phase 2 where Suu would sometimes move into the air when casting the Teleport pattern.
• In Phase 2, it has been changed so that the falling objects can now be avoided with Dark Sight skills.

Suu (Extreme)

• Phase 1, 2, and 3’s HP has been increased.
• In Phase 1 and 2, the amount that the Annihilation Gauge increases over time has been increased.

Developer Notes:

After reviewing players’ gameplay data after the last test world update, we confirmed that additional balance adjustments were required for Extreme Suu to function at the intended difficulty level.

Therefore, we have increased Extreme Suu’s HP in all phases and adjusted it to enter Annihilation Mode more frequently on Extreme difficulty.

In addition, we have removed or adjusted certain patterns and content elements that did not work as intended or provided an excessively unreasonable experience across all difficulty levels, and prioritized fixing critical errors that were difficult to test.

Additional error fixes and changes will be applied in the official server update, but since this Suu remaster update is connected to some new things we are trying out such as the ‘Towards Black Heaven’ event, we urgently needed to update the test server one more time to improve the content’s stability.

In addition, we have expanded the rewards given to excellent testers to ensure update stability through more diverse testing. Please check related information through the separate notice we have prepared.

We will do our best to provide players with a pleasant experience through stable updates.

Towards Black Heaven

• Special Mission 1 has been changed so that you can only participate if you enter Suu (Extreme) after April 25, 2024 at 12:00 AM.

Error Fixes

• Fixed an issue where the client would close if you used the portal after defeating all of the monsters that appeared in the ‘Somewhere Among Tainted Trees’ map during the ‘[Carcion] Snakes’ Whereabouts’ quest.

Suu Remaster

Black Heaven’s power source Suu has returned with a new look. Stop Suu and prevent Black Heaven’s invasion!

Developer Notes:

After closely reviewing the play data after the second test world update, we decided that additional balance adjustments were required to make Extreme Suu more reasonable content while still providing the intended combat experience. Therefore, the content below will be adjusted with this official server update.

First, in situations where you had to hit Suu with the various ‘mutual destruction type’ patterns which is the key mechanic, we confirmed that the frequency of these patterns appearing was excessively high, making it disadvantageous for classes which had a relatively higher difficulty of staying in combat. Therefore, we have lowered the damage of the small mechanical arm rush and tracking lasers.

Second, we confirmed disadvantages for classes that entered Annihilation Mode too quickly in Phase 1 and Phase 2, making it relatively harder to deal with Annihilation Mode. Therefore, we lowered the amount that the Annihilation Gauge increases.

Third, we confirmed that it was excessively difficult to deal with Phase 1’s saw blade pattern and Suu’s push pattern, so the saw blades’ stun effect has been removed and Suu’s push’s attack range has been decreased to allow for better hit-and-run tactics when dodging to the opposite direction.

In addition to the three changes above, we made several other additional changes, and since the overall threat level of the frequently appearing patterns has been decreased, we have slightly increased Extreme Suu’s HP compared to the second test world update.

• Entry Requirement: Characters level 190 or higher.
• Entry Method: Enter through the Black Heaven Interior: Core Entrance’s Gate.

※ Extreme Mode can only be accessed after 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 18.

The boss’ BGMs were updated as well.

The existing Modes (Normal/Hard) have approximately the same difficulty level as before, as well as the same drops and Boss Crystal price. For the new Extreme Mode:

• The difficulty level is between Normal Kalos and Normal Kaling.
• You can only enter Extreme Mode in a party of 1 or 2 people.
• The Boss Crystal selling price is 380m mesos.
• It drops the following items:
  • Complete Under Control heart
  • Lose Control Machine Mark
  • Damaged Black Heart
  • Annihilation Weapon Suuroid
  • Annihilation Weapon Suu’s Soul Shard (Note: these are different than the existing Soul Shards, which are still dropped by Normal/Hard)

The main mechanic shared between all three phases is the Annihilation Gauge.

• The Annhiliation Gauge will go up over time and as you get hit by Suu’s attacks.
• To lower the gauge, you must position yourself so that the delayed targeted cross lasers and mechanical arm attacks hit Suu itself.
• In Phase 1 and 2, if it gets filled up, for a certain period of time until the gauge automatically empties, Suu’s attacks will get stronger and it gains the ability to use the Intruder Repelling Protocol attack which blocks off entire areas of the map and one-shots.
• In Phase 3, the gauge is reversed and instead, it starts completely filled up. If you can empty the gauge with good positioning, Suu will overheat and it will lose the ability to use most attacks for a certain period of time until the gauge automatically fills up again.
• Note that if you are in a party, the Annihilation Gauge is instanced (similar to Dusk’s Fear Gauge). Based on your own gameplay, you can be in/out of Annihilation Mode completely independent of your party member.

Here’s a video of Kobe and I duoing Extreme Mode. The new effects are amazing and the boss looks and sounds so good!

Here’s a good video made by 메구해 that explains all the patterns (a little outdated though since it was made with the first test world patch). It’s in Korean but most of it should be self-explanatory. Some of the more interesting points that might be harder to understand include:

• In Phase 1, when Suu uses its shield, you can also break it faster by making the cross lasers/mechanical arms hit Suu, in addition to dealing damage regularly. If you don’t break it in time, Suu will heal.
• In Phase 1, the falling exploding objects don’t deal damage while they’re falling. They only deal damage when they explode after a certain amount of time.
• In Phase 1, you can look at the eyes below Suu to see where the saw blades are going to appear. If the left eye turns red, they’ll show up on the left, same for the right eye, and if they both turn red, the blades will appear in the middle.
• In Phase 2, when Suu uses the blue zone attack that puts a blue orb debuff on you (that sends you flying away after a few seconds), you can avoid the attack by being within the yellow shield area on top of Suu when its being cast.
• In Phase 3, after Suu uses the map-wide laser net pattern (which stuns you if you get hit), it will always follow up with the attack where he collects debris around him and explodes. This attack normally deals 70% of your HP, but if you are stunned, it will deal 100% HP.

Towards Black Heaven

A new and ominous energy felt in Black Heaven. Defeat Suu, the heart of Black Heaven, and receive special rewards!

• Event Participation Requirement:
  • Characters level 190 or higher.
  • Zero characters that have completed story quest chapter 2.
• Event Participation Period:
  • Normal Mission: After the maintenance on April 18, 2024 ~ May 22 at 11:59 PM.
  • Special Mission 1: April 25, 2024 at 12:00 AM ~ May 22 at 11:59 PM.
  • Special Mission 2: After the maintenance on April 18, 2024 ~ May 22 at 11:59 PM.
• Event Reward Claim Period:
  • Special Mission 1: After the maintenance on May 23, 2024 ~ May 29 at 11:59 PM.
  • Special Mission 2: After the event ends, winners will be notified and prizes will be sent individually.

You can use the event icon on the left side of the screen or talk to the NPC Bitterbot in <Mechanical Grave: Haven> to start the ‘[Towards Black Heaven] Bitterbot’s Message’ quest.

If you defeat any difficulty of Suu, you can participate in the Normal Mission and claim rewards.

For the Special Missions, if you defeat a specific difficulty of Suu that matches their conditions, you can claim rewards for each mission.

※ Special Missions cannot be completed unless you are on a Green PC.

※ If you participate in the event’s Special Missions in an unusual way, your game or content usage may be restricted and you will be excluded from receiving rewards, even if you were one of the first to successfully defeat the boss.

※ You may be excluded from the Special Mission rewards if your game usage is restricted due to violating the game operation policies during the event period.

※ After defeating Suu, you must defeat the Lose Control Heaven Core reward monster to be recorded as participating in the event.

※ When the Lose Control Heaven Core is defeated, you must be present in the map to be recorded as participating in the event.

※ During the Towards Black Heaven event period, if multiple Maple IDs within the same Nexon ID login at the same time, the Maple IDs that login afterwards will not be able to enter Suu (Hard/Extreme).

Normal Mission

During the event period, if you defeat any difficulty of Suu each week, you can participate in the event. You can acquire rewards every time you participate in this weekly event. You can participate in the Normal Mission event 1 time per week per world.

It has been improved so that the expiration time of time-limited items acquired through boss rewards are set to 23:59:59 of the day they would expire, regardless of the time when you acquired them.

The number of items that can be held in a single inventory slot for certain time-limited items acquired through boss rewards has been changed to 9999.

When using Arcane Symbol Vouchers or Authentic Symbol Vouchers, you can now choose to immediately enhance an equipped Symbol.

You can now use multiple Medals of Honor at one time. If you have 2 or more Medals of Honor in your inventory, you can use choose how many you want to use at the same time.

The maximum number of Damage Skin slots has been increased from 60 to 96.

Damage Skin and Riding Vouchers’ item tooltips will now display if you already have them or not.

Mystery Monster Eggs have been improved.

• They can now also register 4 and 5 star rank monsters.
• The monster registration rates for each rank have been added to the item description.

When using certain consumable items that let you choose an item, you can now close the dialogue that is displayed with the ESC key.

When using a Pet Equipment Stat Transfer Scroll, if the extracted item and transferred item have the same stats, you can no longer use the scroll.

The Maple Achievements’ Event Tab has been improved.

• Depending on the events’ durations, you can check ‘Ongoing Events’ and ‘Past Events’.
• Achievements related to certain events in the Memory tab have been moved to ‘Past Events’.
• You can no longer acquire Achievement Points from event achievements. New event achievements will continue to be added going forward.
• ‘Display Case Chairs’ which can be acquired by completing event related achievements, and ‘Ornaments’ which can be used to decorate Display Case Chairs have been added.
  • Display Case Chairs let you arrange the Ornaments you acquired as desired before you sit on it.
  • You can right-click a Display Case Chair to check and change the arrangement of the Ornaments you can use to decorate the chair.

Victoria Cup Sports Day Mission

The Victoria Cup Sports Day Mission event will run from April 18 to June 19. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

The biggest Sports Day ever has begun on Victoria Island! Fill up the Victoria Cup Sports Day Stamp Book and Collection Book with stamps and collect gifts!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Helena in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to start the ‘[Victoria Cup] Starting the Sports Day Mission’ quest.

After that, you can check your progress on the Victoria Cup Sports Day Mission. It is split into the <Stamp Book> and the <Collection Book>.

※ The <Stamp Book> and <Collection Book> attendances can only be completed 1 time per Maple ID.

※ The Sports Day Mission rewards can only be claimed 1 time per Maple ID.

※ The Sports Day Mission progress records and claimed reward records are shared between all characters in the same Maple ID.

Stamp Book

You can get a stamp in the <Stamp Book> one time per day, up to 5 times per week. After defeating 1,000 monsters within your level range, you can press the ‘Attendance’ button in the Victoria Cup UI’s <Stamp Book> to get that day’s stamp.

Every time you get a stamp, you will acquire 500 ‘Stamps’ that can be used in the Stamp Exchange, and 3 3x Experience Coupons (30 Minutes). You can claim your desired amount of collected 3x Experience Coupons through the ‘Receive’ button in the ‘Experience Coupon’ section at the bottom of the Victoria Cup UI’s <Stamp Book>.

You can click the <Stamp Pass> button to use 3,000 Maple Points to get 1 stamp that you did not acquire previously. The <Stamp Pass> can be used up to the number of times that you did not participate in the <Stamp Book>, updating every Thursday.

Every time you get a Collection Sticker, you will acquire 1,000 ‘Badges’ that can be used in the Badge Exchange, and 600 EXP Vouchers. You can claim your desired amount of collected EXP Vouchers through the ‘Receive’ button in the ‘EXP Voucher’ section at the bottom of the Victoria Cup UI’s <Collection Book>.

If you are unable to acquire all of an collaboration minigame’s Collection Stickers, the <Collection Pass> button will appear. You can click the <Collection Pass> button to use 3,000 Maple Points to get 1 collection stamp that you did not acquire previously. The <Collection Pass> can be used up to the number of times that you did not participate in the <Collection Book> for each collaboration minigame.

As you progress through the <Collection Book>’s attendance check, if you complete challenges for the currently running collaboration minigame, you can acquire the following rewards.

The Maple Soccer Online event will run from April 18 to May 1. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

The new Maple Soccer that combines the new techniques that Mongdangcha has learned! Become the ‘ICON The Moment’ player and take some exciting shots!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Mongdangcha in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to enter the <Stadium Entrance>.

※ All buff effects will disappear upon entering.

You can talk to Mongdangcha in the <Stadium Entrance> to queue up and participate in <Maple Soccer Online>.

Game Description

10 players will be matched up cross world to play the game for 3 minutes. The match will start after everyone is divided into the RED team and BLUE team. The uniform colours and nametags will change based on the team you are on.

You will acquire Collection Points based on the match results.

Detailed Rules – Normal Players

• You can move your character using the up, down, left, and right keys on the keyboard.
• If you touch a soccer ball that is falling or flying on the field, you will start moving with the ball.
• You can do a quick dash in the direction you are moving by pressing the Alt key. Any opposing team members you collide with will be tackled and be unable to move for 2 seconds.

※ If you have the ball, you cannot tackle and can only move quickly.

• You can kick the ball in the direction you want by pressing the Ctrl key and a direction key together. You can kick the ball further based on the amount of time you hold down the Ctrl key.
• If you kick the ball in the opposing team’s net, you will acquire 1 point for each goal.

※ If you score in your own team’s net, the opposing team’s score will be increased. If you do so twice, you will be kicked out, a penalty will be applied, and you will not receive any rewards.

• When the game ends after 3 minutes, the RED and BLUE teams’ individual scores will be added up and the team with the higher score will win.

Detailed Rules – ICON The Moment Player

• 5 seconds after the match starts, one character from each team will be designated as the ICON The Moment player for 35 seconds, and a flame effect will appear behind them.
• The ICON The Moment player can use all skills available to normal players, and gain invincibility to being tackled by the opposing team.
• The ICON The Moment player can use additional new skills that Mongdangcha has learned.
  • Curl Kick: If you hold the Z key until the gauge fills up, the ball will curve and fire, scoring a goal without fail that cannot be blocked. It can only be used in the yellow area marked in the opposing team’s half past the halfway line, and cannot be used on your own team’s side.
  • Power Shot: If you press the F key, a fast moving bar and gauge will appear. If you press the F key to stop the bar within the green area on the gauge, the ball will be shot, scoring a goal without fail that cannot be blocked. It can only be used in the yellow area marked in the opposing team’s half past the halfway line, and cannot be used on your own team’s side.
  • Sprint Burst: If you press the E key, you can move faster for a certain period of time.

※ If you do not play for a certain amount of time during the game, you will be kicked out, a penalty will be applied, and you will not receive any rewards.

Chipmunk Sweepers Mission

The Chipmunk Sweepers Mission event will run from May 2 to May 22. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

Help Walsukne get rid of the chipmunks! Keep moving and kill the incoming monsters with your party members!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Walsukne in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to enter the <Beginner Hunting Ground Entrance>.

※ All buff effects will disappear upon entering.

You can talk to Walsukne in the <Beginner Hunting Ground Entrance> to queue up and participate in <Chipmunk Sweepers Mission> through Quick Start or Party Play.

※ You can participate in Quick Start if you are not in a party. You will play the game with 3 other players who have requested Quick Start.

※ You can participate in Party Play with a party of 1~4 players.

Game Description

4 players will be matched up cross world or through Party Play to play the game for 10 minutes.

※ If you do not play for a certain amount of time during a matched game or you are the first person to leave the game when playing with 4 players, a penalty will be applied.

※ You can press the Exit button to leave the game, but you will not receive any rewards.

You can win the game by defeating all of the waves of monsters within the 10 minute time limit. You will acquire Collection Points based on the results.

• You can grow by acquiring Acorns that drop when you defeat monsters.

※ You can acquire Acorns dropped from monsters defeated by your party members after a certain amount of time.

• Every time you level up, you can choose one of three randomly chosen Cards to grow.
• There are three types of Cards: Weapons, Stats, and Special effects. If you select a Card you already have repeatedly, the Card effect will be enhanced.
• You can equip up to five types of Weapons.
• If you die, you will be resurrected automatically. You can resurrect faster if an ally player is within a certain range of you. If an ally player supports you immediately after you die, you can resurrect very quickly.
• When the distance between players is within a certain range, the monsters will be summoned faster and the wave will end faster.

Controls

• You can move your character using the up, down, left, and right keys or the W, A, S, D keys on the keyboard.
• You can use the Space key to use the White Tiger Talisman and move quickly.
• You can use the F key to teleport to the ally party member with the lowest health.
• You can use the 1, 2, 3 keys to select Cards when you level up.
• You can use the Tab key to check your character information.
• You can use your mouse to select Cards or click the Exit button to leave the game.

Participate in the Victoria Cup Sports Day Mission and complete various skills by collecting Team Victory Cards that can enhance your stats and Team Synergy Cards that enrich your journey in Maple World!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Spiegelmann in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to start the ‘[Victoria Cup] The Ultimate Collaboration’ quest.

Every time you complete the Victoria Cup Sports Day Mission’s Stamp Book attendance check, you can acquire 5 Team Victory Card Packs. Every time you complete the Victoria Cup Sports Day Mission’s Collection Book attendance check, you can acquire 5 Team Synergy Card Packs.

Once per week per Maple ID, you can spend 9,900 Maple Points to buy 10 Victory Card Packs or 10 Synergy Card Packs.

You can use the Team Victory Card Packs and Team Synergy Card Packs you have acquired to enhance the Team Victory skill and Team Synergy skill effects respectively.

You can choose which stats to use them on. Each stat can go up to level 6 and each level requires a different amount of points.

Balloon Pop Challenge

The Balloon Pop Challenge event will run from April 18 to May 22. This event is available to all characters level 200 or higher.

Balloons have filled the Victoria Cup Main Stadium! Pop the colourful balloons and receive experience rewards!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Kyrin in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to start the ‘[Balloon Pop Challenge] Popping Balloons’ quest.

When you enter <Balloon Pop Challenge>, you will be moved to the preparation map and be given 2 minutes of preparation time. Once you’re ready, you can talk to Kyrin to move to the battle map.

※ All buff effects will disappear upon entering. However, if you re-enter from the exit map, your buff effects will be maintained.

When you enter the battle map, you will have 2 minutes to attack the Balloons and acquire points. There are a total of 6 stages, and the next stage will begin when you defeat all of them. As the stages increase, the level, defenses, and health of the enemies will grow higher.

※ If you exit partway through, the points will be reset.

※ You cannot use Ability presets or Hexa Skill Common Cores in the battle map.

You can acquire up to 1,150 points per day, and you will receive experience points from Kyrin in the exit map. The higher your score, the more experience you will get.

The <Balloon Pop Challenge> experience rewards can be received by 1 character per week per world.

There is no limit to the number of times you can enter <Balloon Pop Challenge>, but once you receive the experience rewards, you cannot receive them on any other character in the same world on that week. However, if the character who acquired the experience rewards re-enters and gets a higher record, you can receive additional experience rewards equal to the difference from the previous record. You can enter <Balloon Pop Challenge> on other characters but you cannot receive additional experience, even if you achieve a higher score.

※ The number of weekly experience rewards acquired and attempt records will be reset every Thursday at midnight.

Snack Break Time

The Snack Break Time event will run from April 18 to June 19. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

Delicious snacks are an essential part of a fun Sports Day! It seems Heinz has prepared a lot of magical snacks for the Victoria Cup participants!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Heinz in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to start the ‘[Snack Break Time] Go Get Sports Day Snacks’ quest. You can only enter <Snack Break Time> on characters between level 101 and level 260.

After entering <Snack Break Time>, all buffs will be removed and you will acquire the exclusive buff skill ‘Snack Time’.

• 400% experience acquired
• 50 attack/magic attack
• 30% normal monster damage
• 30% critical rate
• 30% critical damage
• 50 all stats
• 2500 HP/MP

You will have 15 minutes to defeat 999 ‘Cold Sparkling Water’ monsters whose levels change based on your character’s level to gain experience.

If you defeat the ‘Popping Candy’ monster that appears every 200 ‘Cold Sparkling Water’ monsters you defeat, you will gain more experience and a skill to help you defeat monsters.

If you defeat the ‘Sports Day Balloon’s Spirit’ monster that appears when you defeat 999 ‘Cold Sparkling Water’ monsters, you will gain a lot of experience and the following items at a set rate.

• Chocolate Cake

If you leave <Snack Break Time> without defeating all of the monsters and there is still remaining time, you can re-enter to finish your session without consuming an additional entry limit.

You can only enter <Snack Break Time> 1 time per day per world on a single character, up to 3 times per week.

※ In the ‘Snack Break Time’ map, you cannot use any consumable items except for recovery items.

※ If you defeat all 999 ‘Cold Sparkling Water’ monsters, all of the ‘Popping Candy’ monsters, and the ‘Sports Day Balloon’s Spirit’, you will exit from the map regardless of the remaining time.

※ If the time limit runs out, you will exit from the map regardless of the number of remaining monsters.

※ If you reach level 260, you cannot re-enter if you leave partway through.

※ When exiting partway through, the play record will be recorded per character.

※ After midnight, all partway records will disappear.

※ Even if you reach level 260 inside <Snack Break Time>, you can still get experience by defeating the remaining monsters.

※ The ‘Popping Candy’ will automatically disappear 20 seconds after being summoned. If they do so, you will not acquire the skill and experience benefits. However, if you leave the map before this time limit ends, the summon will remain when you re-enter the map.

※ If you leave the map before the time limit ends, the ‘Sports Day Balloon’s Spirit’ will remain when you re-enter the map.

※ The weekly entry limit will reset every Thursday at midnight.

Shadow Long Jump

The Shadow Long Jump event will run in two rounds: the first from April 18 to May 1 and the second from May 2 to May 22. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

The slim and light Dark Lord has asked you for training to compete in the long jump event? Help the Dark Lord train, watch his amazing progress, and receive a bunch of experience rewards.

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Dark Lord in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to start the following quests during each round of the event and acquire the ‘On Your Mark!’ skill.

• 1st Round: [Long Jump] Dark Lord’s Training Request
• 2nd Round: [Long Jump] Continued Request

When you enter a hunting ground with monsters within your level range, the ‘On Your Mark!’ skill will be automatically activated. As you defeat monsters within your level range, you will fill up the ‘Run-Up Point’ gauge. If you defeat 200 monsters and fill it up, the following skills will activate based on the round of the event.

• 1st Round: Shadow’s Step Up
• 2nd Round: Abyss’ Step Up

When ‘Shadow’s Step Up’ and ‘Abyss’ Step Up’ activate, you will gain a large amount of experience and the Dark Lord will appear and quickly attack nearby enemies.

※ If you use all 20 ‘On Your Mark’ activations per day per character, the skill will be deactivated.

※ You can deactivate the ‘On Your Mark!’ skill by right-clicking the skill icon in the skill window. If the skill is deactivated, it will remain deactivated until midnight or until you right-click the skill to activate it again. If you disconnect and reconnect, the deactivated skill will be reactivated.

※ You can right-click the ‘Shadow’s Step-Up’ and ‘Abyss’ Step-Up’ skill icons in the skill window to select from Auto or Manual Use Mode. Once you have set them, the Mode will be maintained.

※ The ‘On Your Mark!’ skill will only activate in maps with monsters within your level range. It will not activate in maps where there is a level 4 Rune debuff or other special maps (Mirror World, story quest maps, etc.).

※ If you fill up the gauge on a map where another player is activating ‘Shadow’s Step-Up’ or ‘Abyss’ Step Up’, the activation will be delayed until the already activated ‘Shadow’s Step-Up’ or ‘Abyss’ Step Up’ is complete.

※ In instanced maps, ‘Shadow’s Step-Up’ and ‘Abyss’ Step Up’ will be activated instantly, regardless of whether or not other players have already activated the skill.

※ The ‘Shadow’s Step-Up’ and ‘Abyss’ Step Up’ skills will only be visible to yourself, and they are affected by experience increasing effects and the death penalty experience reduction effect.

Maple Marathon

The Maple Marathon event will run from April 18 to May 22. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

Cassandra said she saw a wonderful future running with the player in her crystal ball! Participate in the Maple Marathon to use the Medal Shop and receive great record gifts.

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Cassandra in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to start the ‘[Marathon] Cassandra’s Proposal’ quest.

After completing the quest, when hunting monsters around your level, you can acquire ‘Refreshing Energy Drinks’, ‘Passionate Energy Drinks’, and ‘Perfect Energy Drinks’ at a set rate. You will acquire a certain amount of Energy based on the type of Drink.

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Instructor Irvin in <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> to start the ‘[Magic Paper Airplane] Five Colours Filling the Sky’ quest.

When you complete the quest, you will acquire the ‘Magic Paper Airplane’ skill. If you use the skill in the <Victoria Cup: Main Stadium> map, you will acquire experience based on your level every 5 seconds.

※ After using the ‘Magic Paper Airplane’ skill, you must remain seated in the Magic Paper Airplane Chair to acquire experience.

To celebrate the 21st anniversary, we’re giving away a Tera Burning Booster! Receive 1+2 level up benefits until level 200 and growth support gifts too!

You can use the event icon to start the ‘[Tera Burning] Tera Burning Booster Giveaway’ quest and receive 1 Tera Burning Booster per Maple ID.

When you use the Tera Burning Booster, you will receive an additional 2 levels every time you level up, until level 200.

※ The Tera Burning Booster can be used on characters level 10~199 who do not currently have a Burning effect. (It cannot be used on Zero characters)

※ The Tera Burning Booster will expire 14 days after claiming, and can only be put into storage.
