MapleStory’s Story – Character Relationships & Grandis!
Time for a little different kind of post. Instead of talking about new patches, events, content, and stuff like that, this is a post entirely on MapleStory’s story! I don’t know about you guys, but I love the story lines in this game. I still remember doing all of the Magatia quests the day it came out, haha.
Here’s something I translated a while ago, posted by Polaris on Insoya.com (I think the thread got deleted or something…). It shows the relationships between various characters in MapleStory (no minor ones though like Chief Stan and Alex or Dr. Betty and Anne). Some are pretty interesting to see actually~
Edit: Many people seem to assuming this image is some sort of troll because it’s from Insoya. You’re wrong. Oh my gosh, one forum posted an image from Insoya’s fanart section saying it was real, everything from Insoya must be wrong!!! No, this was from the Maple Talk section, where people… talk about MapleStory. Also, threads on Insoya get deleted after a certain period of time (it’s dumb, I don’t know why they do that).

kMS ver. 1.2.176 – Post Season and Belt Crafting!
After a long dry spell, finally a patch has been released! However, it only features events, no actual content haha. Some of them are pretty nice though, so that’s a bonus!
Also, in the Cash Shop, new scrolls were released. These are special as they are actually real scrolls that can be used on items! The first two are 100% Accessory for Attack/Magic Attack scrolls and they give 2~4 attack, and the second two are for pet equipment, giving the same. There’s also a Special Potential Scroll that is guaranteed to reveal a 3 lined item. How do you feel about these new Cash items?
kMS ver. 1.2.175 – Archer, Thief, Pirate Hyper Skills & Halloween!
The rest of the Adventurers: archers, pirates, and thieves, have received their Hyper Skills! This includes Dual Blades, but for some reason excludes Cannon Shooter, haha. Nothing goes his way… first Mercedes, now this? The patch notes say that Cannon Shooter, the Resistance, AND the Knights of Cygnus will receive their Hyper Skills in a later update. Wait… Cygnus? But Hyper Skills are for level 140 or higher…
Halloween events were released as well! P.S. there were some changes to these Hyper Skills, if you wanna reread them~

Soon the rest of the Adventurers (and Resistance?) will receive their Hyper Skills! I can’t wait to see~ Hopefully the ones Bowmasters get are going to be really cool haha.
