Maple Memories: My MapleStory Journey
Hey guys, this post will be a little different from my usual stuff. Since it’s KMS’ 18th anniversary, GMS’ 16th anniversary, and also (almost) the 10th anniversary of this blog, I thought it would be nice to take a trip down memory lane! I’ve been playing MapleStory for more than half my life and obviously, it’s been a huge part of it haha.

Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for continuing to support this blog year after year. I hope that you guys had a great year and that 2016 will be even better! 🙂
In terms of MapleStory, we celebrated MapleStory’s 12th anniversary, the MapleStory exhibition was held, the first monster job Super Star Pink Bean was added, as well as Reboot’s character balancing, Reboot World, Kinesis the Supernatural, updated Korean Folk Town, the raid boss Urus, updated Zakum, the long-awaited Aran and Evan updates, the first couple of acts for the second blockbuster Heroes of Maple, and finally the Resistance warrior Blaster!
MapleStory 2 was officially launched as well last year!
I’ll leave you with these adorable Petite Hero pets which were just released in the Cash Shop last night. You can see a bit more information about them in the Cash Shop section of my last post if you want!
MapleStory 2 – Final Test Applications & kMSt ver. 1.2.008 – Dynamic Hunting Changes!
The Final Test applications for MapleStory 2 have finally been opened! They released a teaser video where you can actually see the new classes: Berserker, Heavy Gunner, and Thief. If you guys have a verified Nexon Korea account, you can apply here by pressing the big blue hexagon! I can’t make a guide as I have already been a tester before so I don’t even see any popup, but if you guys need help, you can post in the comments and I’ll try and help you out 🙂
In addition, a new Test World patch has been released! This one includes the 12th Anniversary as well as a ton of changes to hunting and party questing~ I won’t be covering the events until it hits the actual server, but the other changes are very cool.
MapleStory 2 – Heavy Gunner Teaser & MapleStory – Creation 12: The SEED R!
Hey guys! I got a couple of things to talk about today, the first is our first look at MapleStory 2’s Heavy Gunner! They actually asked users what to name this skill, there was a poll for (Electric/Hyper/Lightning/Laser) + (Blast/Launcher/Cannon/Shock) but in the end, Electric Blast won out.
There’s a few other MapleStory 2 related things as well as a confirmation about the next patch of the Creation 12 update! So read on~

Another year has gone by, and I want to say to all of you, Happy New Year! I hope you guys had a great Christmas and that 2015 is full of great moments!
In terms of MapleStory, hopefully we get some cool things this year (5th job?) and for MapleStory 2, the CBT and probably the OBT (maybe even the actual game release?) will take place. I actually received a code from a very friendly Supporter so I will be able to participate this time 🙂
