KMS ver. 1.2.367 – MapleStory Ignition: Extreme!
The second patch of the MapleStory Ignition update has been released. Titled Extreme, it includes new Extreme Mode difficulties for Black Mage and Seren, the return of Monster Park Extreme, and other hunting changes.
Also, they (accidentally?) added some quest data for Odium, which confirms a couple of things like the list of daily quests (10 different mobs including stronger versions of the three mobs from the Karote story, requiring 1000/800/700/500 kills), 5 Authentic Symbols per day, and also teases the next area, the Realm of Sages, Utopia (could also be ‘Paradise’ but it’s hard to translate ‘도원경’).
KMST ver. 1.2.144 – Extreme Mode Bosses & Monster Park
A new test world patch was released yesterday, including the new Extreme difficulties for Black Mage and Chosen Seren, as well as Monster Park Extreme and other growth changes.
KMS ver. 1.2.366 – MapleStory Ignition: Cygnus Knights Remaster!
The first patch of the MapleStory Ignition update has been released! The Cygnus Remaster gives all of the Cygnus Knights, including Mikhail, an updated look and various improvements. This patch also contains various quality of life changes, Hyper Burning up to level 250, and the Ignition Fireworks Festival event!
In terms of the remaster, there were basically zero changes from the last test world patch until now (really disappointing tbh). I decided to just do a full skill translation so it won’t show the differences from before and after the remaster, but you can check the two KMST posts for those. There was one additional developer notes section for Wind Breaker which I’ll include here.
KMST ver. 1.2.142 – MapleStory Ignition Showcase & Cygnus Remaster
Yesterday, the MapleStory Ignition Showcase took place where they talked about the stuff coming this summer! Afterwards, the test world was opened with the initial changes of the Cygnus Remaster.
For the skill changes, the patch notes were a little vague this time around for some reason and I was also pretty busy this weekend so I’m just going to translate them as they were given and only give additional detail for the newly added skills. The patch notes also were missing some of the skills that were updated so I added those in where I noticed them. Some of the skill changes were actually quite extensive but I didn’t have a chance to fully cover them, so I’m thinking I will continue to just translate the patch notes like this and then when the changes are pushed to the official server, I’ll do a full skill translation just like I did with the Adventurer Remaster to make it easier to understand.
KMST ver. 1.2.136 – Job Balancing!
As mentioned before, a new test world patch was released that includes balance changes for all jobs! They also made further changes to the Adventurers, including to their story quests, and certain systems have been modified or removed entirely.
