kMS ver. 1.2.138 – Demon Slayer~
The third and final job of the Legend update has been released! Demon Slayer is now available~!
This is the advertisement for Demon Slayer, a la Mercedes. There is also a female version. It’s really cool. I hope that these anime style mini movies continue! I have created a post for Demon Slayer skill tables for this patch. There were some changes from this patch and the last kMSt patch as well.
Nexon Korea announced something today. The new jobs from the Legend update, Cannon Shooter, Mercedes, and Demon Slayer, will all have a limited time to be created. That is to say, they will most likely be seasonal jobs like Dual Blader for kMS.
Look past the cut for these changes as well as information about the fourth potential rank, new events, and the Demon Slayer tutorial!
kMSt ver. 1.2.397 – Potential System Upgrade?
Tomorrow, Demon Slayer will be released to the official server! I’ll try my best to have a post explaining the storyline like I did for Mercedes! It might be hard though since the storyline goes up to level 140!
There was only one change for Demon Slayer skills this patch, Demon Impact consumes 40 Force instead of 60 now.
However, Fiel of Southperry extracted something very interesting. A fourth rank has been added to potential, past Unique! Along with this new rank comes many new potential effects such as increasing meso or item drop rate, decreasing cooldowns, increasing efficiency of recovery potions, and 3 new potential skills! The first is Decent Combat Orders, increasing all skill levels by 1, then Decent Advanced Bless, which gives 20 attack/magic attack, 425 defense and magic defense, 260 accuracy and avoid, and a 12% decrease in MP consumption. The final skill is Decent Wind Booster, which increases your attacking speed by one stage.
There’s not much information about these new potential effects, it’s not even mentioned in the patch notes, but I’ll be sure to post when I get more!
kMSt ver. 1.2.396 – Demon Slayer Skill Changes!
Many skill changes await! There was also a lot of storyline added, Demon Slayer has quests until level 140! There’s even one at level 200! Van Leon and Orca are both a part of the Demon Slayer’s storylines. The tutorial has not been added yet, for some reason. I believe they’re making another anime-style trailer to show at the beginning of the tutorial just like Mercedes.
Force Shield of Patience: maxDF +20, DEF +10, MDEF +5 (level 10)
Force Shield of Will: maxHP +150, maxDF +50, DEF +30, MDEF +15 (level 30)
Force Shield of Power: STR +7, DEX +7, maxHP +350, maxDF +80, DEF +60, MDEF +30 (level 70)
Ultimate Force Shield: STR +12, DEX +12, maxHP +600, maxDF +110, DEF +85, MDEF +45 (level 120)
Note, these are all unlevelled stats. If you level them, they increase only the stats that they already have (ie. the first two shields will never get STR or DEX) and the maxDF does not increase upon level up. The max level is 4 for the first three and 9 for the last one. They are all untradeable and cannot be scrolled or potentialed.
These Force Shields are the only way to change the amount of Demon Force you have, other than advancing. At level 10, you’ll have 30 DF, level 30 will be 60 DF, level 70 will be 90 DF, and 120 will give you 120 DF.

kMSt ver. 1.2.394 – Mercedes Changes!
Another patch has been released! Here are the skill changes for Mercedes~
- Final Attack: Dual Bowgun: now hits 2 times for 75% each.
- Gust Dive: delay was decreased.
- Ring of Ishtar: now hits 2 times for 105% damage each.
- Edge Spiral: name changed to Lightning Edge.
- Advanced Final Attack: Dual Bowgun: now hits 2 times for 105% each.
The second Hot Time event’s prizes have been announced! Be logged on at 2:30 pm on July 23 and you will get (for sure) 20 Legend Coins, a Character Slot Coupon, a Level Up Vial, and an Elf’s Tiara! The Legend Coins can be spent at the Shop of Legend, the Character Slot Coupon gives you a free character slot, and the Level Up Vial levels you up once!
The Elf’s Tiara is a bit special. It is a hat for all classes that gives 10 to all stats (It’s level 50 requirement by the way, Nexon Korea, when will you learn to use PNGs?!). However, if you wear it on a third or fourth job Mercedes, you get the bonus of 5 to all stats, 5 attack, and 10 speed! It requires a Share Name Tag to be moved through the account once, so either get all the items on your Mercedes, or get it on another and transfer the Tiara to your Mercedes by buying the Share Name Tag. Clever Nexon!
That’s not all! You also have a chance to win the Hero of Legend Badge again, and also many new items. You can win one of the Blazing Sun set items, a White Angelic Bless, a White or Dark Premium Symbol, a Cygnus’ Kohinoor, or an Almighty Ring!
kMSt ver. 1.2.393 – New World & DB Nerf?
This patch was so minuscule it didn’t even have patch notes haha. It did however open up the new world Elf, which will come to kMS when Mercedes is released on July 21. Just like the other worlds, getting level 70 will give you the Elf Bandana and getting level 100 will give you the Frontier Earrings.
Also I noticed I missed something in kMSt ver. 1.2.392, I guess I was too excited about Mercedes skills and quests haha. The Dual Blader skill Final Cut now gives only 40% extra damage, instead of the 140% it used to give. EDIT: Apparently this is just changed in the description to fix the error…
