kMS ver. 1.2.137 – Current Events
MapleStory’s popularity is only increasing~ Want to know how I know? Well, during the last Hot Time event, the number of concurrent users online surpassed 580,000 people! This broke a record for Nexon, and so, they decided to begin the MapleStory Legend 580,000 Users Appreciation event! I know, its a mouthful, but its a really cool event. From July 27 to August 3, every single day, there is 2x experience from 1pm to 4pm. Yup, a week-long 2x exp event.
Also, if you get a new job (Cannon Shooter, Mercedes) to level 50 before August 3rd, you’ll get a Legend Pumping Balloon, a cape Cash item!
There’s a couple more events, such as the return of the Icebox event and the third and final Hot Time! The other two have been really good, so see past the cut for the prizes of this one!
The Icebox event is back!
Monsters across the Maple world are now dropping iceboxes! Collect them and open them for prizes!
The first thing that you can get is the Little Rabbit riding skill! You get a coupon that gives the skill to you for 7 days so you can stock if you want. That poor rabbit! Mercedes! Lose some weight!
You can get the iconic Icebars as well, along with potions, haha. The best of course is the Strawberry Ice Bar which gives 5 attack and magic attack. But I think it’s sort of useless since you can get the Spiegelmann’s Moustache whenever you want.
Surfing boards are also available~
And finally, you can get many transformation potions. There’s the Penguin Transformation Potions 1 to 5 and also the Ice Spirit Transformation Potion.
The final Legend update Hot Time has been revealed! Everyone gets an SP Reset Scroll, Level Up Vial, 20 Legend Coins, and a Devil’s Horn, an Epic hat item that gives extra stats when worn by a Demon Slayer! It’s very similar to the Elf King’s Tiara given out last time.
The Devil’s Horn gives 10 to all stats and is wearable by all classes, but when worn by a third or fourth job Demon Slayer, they receive a boost of 5 to all stats, 5 attack, and 5% critical chance! It gives 500 charm and 500 will, and can be account traded once through the use of the Share Name Tag.
As always, there’s a chance to win Cash items and the Legendary Hero’s Badge, but you also have a chance to win any level 140 weapon!

Because I decided that constantly updating them would be too much work so I put them into posts with the version they were from (Mercedes, Cannon Shooter). They’re still on the front page I think though.
