MapleStory: Justice!
On the MapleStory homepage, this video now shows. Who is this mysterious new character? How does he know Evan? The only thing I know for sure is that this has to do with the Winter update, and that the word Justice is associated with it.
We’ll know the details on December 8, at 11 o clock!

the thing throwing tarot won’t be much different of throwing stars , i am sure he will have luck skill same as pirate dice , thing like tarot luck , anyway 7 dec is our gms cannoner and the day after we will see what kms will get ;p.

LOL I just noticed that the new character was actually a guy because his clothing matched the picture of the guy embracing the girl in the card. I guess Nexon wanted the thief hero to be unique… #1 the mysterious character looks like he’s a fairy b/c of his wings in the card, #2 he has a mixture of white and black clothing, #3 his clothing looks fancy/formal… AWESOME MAX THNX for sharing the details in KMS 🙂

Then again, that could be the name of the update…Word of God hasn’t spoken yet so it really could be anything.
A gambler class? That’ll be a major turn-off. Look at Tales of Vesperia’s Patty Fleur; almost all her artes have a random effect and could potentially damage Patty or debuff party members if the player is unlucky. More than half of her artes have varying effects based on her first arte, which activates a random mode for Patty, each with different stat bonuses.
On the other hand, a trap-based class would definitely be interesting, though it might be a little slow when it comes to training…

Also, remember that in the inkhart KMS website diary he said he saw a new resistance member and is wondering if he would see him again this winter?

What does he have to do with little evan who sounds like a 40 year old man ? Evan is a legend, and he knows the thief legend, for some reason…. maybe his dragon told him about him. Evan showed up in the Mercedes trailer, and now in the new hero trailer…. I ❤ JUSTICE
I’m pretty sure that’s Freud, not Evan. Even though Freud looks pretty much exactly like Evan, he’s older, so it would make more sense.
It’s Probably Evan… They’re talking about a new update, right? This is probably during the time right after Phantom awakes, and Evan is (probably) one of the first people to meet him.
Why am i getting a sense of a Joker class style…i think its all the masquerade cards..and the outfit. The idea of colorful thief makes me laugh. However jokers are cool so if it was that it be awesome. guess we gotta wait and see though lol.
Maybe also because the tip of the mystery guy’s hat looks alot like a crow’s beak hm… >.>

It would be very interesting for a class to have its skills based almost entirely on tarot card. I can just see the skill based on “Wheel of Fortune” being similar to Lucky Dice, but with the possibility of casting a debuff on yourself instead…
I actually wouldn’t be surprised at all if all of their skills were actually named after the tarot cards.
I can’t believe that just about no one in the MS community thought of a tarot card-based thief class. MAKE IT HAPPEN NEXON.

It’s Freud, not Evan in this video.
I know this because if you watch the video, the sleeves reach all the way to his hands. Freud’s clothes are like this in the Evan storyline’s flashback. If you look at the official art, the Evan outfit, and the Mercedes video, Evan has short sleeves, and he sounds a lot younger in that video as well.
It’s actually most likely Freud in the Mercedes video, since they were fighting the Black Mage. The two voices actually sound almost the same if you watch the actual intro video when you make a Mercedes. I think you watched the one that everyone saw before Mercedes was released. But I feel as if the person in the video is Freud as well. He seems to be more…knowledgeable than Evan. And the sleeves, as you say, give it away. If the person in this video is Evan though, then Nexon needs to make up their mind on who wears what outfit, and they need to find a younger voice for him, unless if Evan hit puberty.

nower days people say that they dont want a new class cause they are too over powered or what ever then they secretly really want somthing to do.
any way the class looks oright but i can wait we still have all the other classes

dont wish you life away just enjoy maple the new class will come in due time
and there are still, heaps of revamps and such for pirates and theives
maple may muck up some times but they are only trying to maximise the enjoyment for others in the maple world
