kMS ver. 1.2.170 – Traitor Magnus!
A new boss, the traitor to the Nova people, Magnus has been released! Magnus was defeated by the past Kaiser, then joined the Black Mage’s forces as a commander in the Maple World. Now he has returned to Grandis, taking over Helisium and ruling over the Tyrant’s Citadel.
The capital of Pantheon, Helisium has been added! Kaiser, Angelic Burster, and the Maple Union have joined forces to attempt to retake the city from the clutches of Magnus.
Magnus is a new boss monster in Helisium. You can fight him in Normal or Hard mode with a party of 1~6 people that are level 100 or higher.
When fighting Magnus, your damage to monsters will be decreased, the effects of your MP healing items will be reduced, and you will continually take damage.
He also has the Death Count system, which increases his strength once you have died 20 times.
Magnus can only be hurt if you are inside the blue zone, this is called the Zone Control system.
With the Bombardment system, you will have to be continuously dodging projectiles. Green balls will deal damage equal to 50% of your HP while the blue and purple balls are instant death.
There’s also the Sleeping Gas system. Around the map there will be little sprayers that hit you with gas, disabling your movements and use of potions. You’ll need Dispel or Shining Redemption to be released.
Magnus drops the Former Kaiserium, Nova equipment (for Normal Mode) and Tyrant equipment (for Hard Mode). He also drops Magnus Coins, which can be traded in for…

Aswan Liberation War has returned! It includes the World Match and all four modes and difficulties. However, the monsters’ HP and experience have been changed.
They also reduced the amount of experience needed to level up your Honor!
There are a couple of new Hot Times for this weekend, the first is on August 18. You’ll get 20 Tempest Coins, a 100% Lucky Day Scroll, and the Starlight Angel ☆ chair!
10 people per world will also receive a 30% 5 Star Equipment Enhancement Scroll~
On August 19, you’ll get 20 Tempest Coins, a 50% Golden Hammer, and a 100% Special Additional Potential Stamp. 10 people per world will also receive 100k Maple Points!

So i have to stay inside the blue zone while dodging the balls of death that can ohk me while also avoiding the smoke of paralyzation while attacking and watching my own status ailements, buffs (assuming he debuffs) and health bar. And i can’t die or he gets stronger so i have to pot even though pot effects are reduced. And i have to kill him even though dammage is reduced. And i thought azwan was difficult……
With people hitting 60m damage per second, it’s no surprise this boss fight had to be so ass-paining to beat. It’s like they’re forcing us to be more…. skillful.
Sorry not everyone is super funded like yourself. Obviously you won’t be able to compete unless you have 50k+ range
I’m trying to think how a funded person would react to this. I didn’t say I was super-funded; I’m not up-to-par with the pros, in fact I wouldn’t even dare to go near this boss.

Dude, 50k isn’t even that good. An Evan couldn’t hit cap with ILLUSION at that range. with no boss damage.

So the new boss drops atk 250 weapons…so op, and only one type of weapon
It has no slots. AKA, no pot. A perfect scrolled 140 with anivrsery scrolls ed/enhances can be about 200, then I’d say whatever pot it has is worth 50 ATTK . I don’t think it’s op at all. Also, you can get this item without needing to cube at all. It basically a precluded perfected weapon 🙂
How do u kill Magnus if he doesn’t have hp?

I’ll assume Magnus’ HP is server-sided instead of being shown in the data. I guess 2,147,483,647 HP is considered too small nowadays.

rats, no sniping then. Also I assume you’ll be trying to avoid/get hit by green balls for that dodging part (which’ll suck for mechs and their big hitbox)

First day. Normal Mode. Solo attempt by an Angelic Burster.
Not surprised if Magnus will be beaten in Hard Mode by an actual party by the end of the week.
Well I’ll be damned. But even this Angelic Burster seemed to have a lot of problems (3 deaths away from powering up Magnus), and from the looks of things, she was severely funded. I could only imagine hard, eh?
I don’t get it, is the Tyrant equipment the lvl150 stuff, and the Nova equipment lvl110? So i assume that Magnus drops more than just the two-handed lvl150 sword, as in he also drops pirates, thieves, and etc. ‘s weapons

…Anyway, Max, after seeing the Angelic Buster solo Normal Mode Magnus, I wanted to ask if there is any noticeable difference between Normal and Hard aside from Magnus’s power. Like, maybe if the death confetti rocks fell at a more frequent rate or something.

Watashi is used to refer to oneself – subjective pronouns are hardly used when speaking Japanese though, and as I’m not an expert, I don’t claim that it’s the proper translation.
