kMSt ver. 1.2.470 – Small Changes
A really small patch was released in Tespia today. It brought a couple of things, including a new gender indicator on the character info page. Some people have pointed out that it may be tied to your account’s gender, which makes sense because the character above is not a female, haha.
There were also some Root Abyss set changes as well as new level 145 weapons!
The Fafnir weapons’ base boss damage has been decreased from 40% to 30%. The set effects of the Root Abyss set have been changed as well! For wearing three equips, you’ll now gain 50 attack instead of 20, and for four equips, you’ll get 30% boss damage instead of 30 attack and 9% total damage.
New level 145 Scarlet weapons have been added into the data. It doesn’t say where they’re from… could they be coming with a new area? They are ‘Joker’ items, like the Chaos Root Abyss boss hats, meaning they can fill in as equipment in any set! You can see the stats of each weapon at Southperry.

what weapon and what class uses the weapon in the second to bottom in the third row? i cant seem to understand what weapon that is.

Also, they do -try- to stick to dividing them by class, but they screw up a bit.. so don’t go by that~ xD

Yep, 30% from the weapon and 30% from the set bonus.
Is it possible that the Gender thing equates to what gender you registered as not what gender the character your playing? Maybe implemented to help figure out whose a G.I.R.L and whose not? Just a thought.

Mm.. I’m a heavy warrior enthusiast, but I must say.. I much more appreciate the artwork for the dagger/katara compared to the swords.. although the desperado kicks ass as well.
Why are there so many swords and no, I assume from the large size, 1-handed BW and Axe?

re: potential account gender display – exposing personal information without choice is bad.
But you know somewhere it’s covered in their ToS. Gender with no other information couldn’t possibly break the law either, so oh well there.
GMS may not implement this
Showing the account owner’s gender is stuiped, weither it breaking the law or not. In KMS they probely get gender of the account owner from the SS# I don’t think GMS ever asked for gender when making an account and even if they did people could still lie about gender.

I believe that this will lower the price of empress equips to around 5M per piece, cape to about 50M and weapons to about 20M. So those with empress gear, you should sell them as soon as possible…. I love how everyone in FM is selling empress for 30+M and capes for 2b and weapons for 300+M lol.
I am so looking forward to working with hayato and kanna, because they are original and have really flashy skills that I can stick with for the long term. Maple needs to grow out of its shell rightsn ow and thethe only way for that to happen is to get more interesting skill sets that complement really well. Get rid of all those useless skills that nobody uses and replace them with amazing ones. I hope everyonee understands that this is the only way to revive maple and make it fun in the long term again.
