kMS ver. 1.2.193 – Minor Anniversary Changes
A minor patch has been released, changing some of the events for the better. So far I think this anniversary is a bit disappointing… it’s really hard to get the entire Maple Black set (costs a total of 780 coins as well as having to attend the Hot Time last Saturday), not to mention the belt which you can’t even get unless you go to the MapleStory 1st Festival in Korea…
The daily quest that gave one 10th Anniversary Coin has been changed to give 3 instead. For PC Room users, they’ll get 5 coins instead of 2.
Monsters will now be dropping the 10th Anniversary Gift Box. There’s no list of what they give but from people in my alliance, I think they give only coins or potions.
The Let’s Go! Mesorangers! event will now send out invitations 4 times per hour instead of 2, at XX:05, XX: 20, XX:35, and XX:50.
The drop rate of Maple Leaves has been increased as well.
You now gain 10 FP when signing another person (previously you would only gain FP if someone signed you)! Also, sometimes GM Nori’s Sign will drop from the Admin Balloons, and you can open it for 10 FP. You can only do this a maximum of 10 times per day.

its because the maple anniversary is a rather long event and all the info about new stuff is waiting for the festival so he doesn’t really have anything new to post about update wise till then, expect a fairly sizable post on the 18th… or 19th whenever it was =P

I’m normally patient about all this but that last image with the
silhouette of a swordsman/adventurer/umbrella class in
the previous post is pretty suspenseful. 😀

The 18th and 19th lies on a weekend, and Nexon has never done an update over the weekend, so actual data won’t come until late Sunday Eastern time.
They will be revealing what is coming, but your most likely correct in there wont be an actual update. However this is also the first maplestory event of its kind so using the premise of them not having done this before isn’t quite as reliable.
