kMSt ver. 1.2.009 – Super Star Pink Bean!

Super Star Pink Bean

MapleStory’s first monster job, the Super Star Pink Bean has been added to the test server! This job is a bit different but still has a lot of funny skills, read on for more information!

I’m wondering if this means there’s going to be more… by the way, this will come to the real server on May 14!

Pink Bean Character

The always bored Pink Bean has been sent to Henesys instead of the Temple of Time due to the plans of his rival, Black Bean!

  • Pink Bean can wear warrior equipment and its main stat is STR.
  • Instead of skill points, Pink Bean learns skills at certain levels and based on his current level, skill damage and abilities will be increased.

Pink Bean Creation

However, Pink Bean is very different than regular jobs.

  • Pink Bean characters can only be played until June 30, 2015, after which they will all be deleted.

Wait, do you mean that character creation will be deleted or the actual characers themselves? Hope you can keep the characters, this is so awesome! By the way, what’s the story of this job XD

It basically seems like an event. When you do certain tasks with it you can get a bunch of rewards for another character.

        I certainly hope so…
If not then no one is gonna even care to try and play it, except crazy people like Luna-PrincessNinj a few posts down…

This Pink Bean charcter troll is like something Konami would think of pulling. Nexon = Korean Konami

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGG……Thank god….This would be a nice way to take a break from my Angelic Buster for a while and not quit her,
A temp class…Love it….If comes to GMS (SHOULD) I would LOVE to play as one heck I’ll even see how far I can go and even do a video doc. about this….If I wanted to add a side story I would say that my PB manic Angelic Buster has a dream she is a bean and kick it off from there.

Thank you for pointing that out, Now I would have no regrets doing this and etc.

I can see people getting mad when they get deleted, but not being able to trade with characters prevents people from making big mistakes.
Couldn’t they just pick stuff up though? Or are they restricted in that regard too?

  12. martino
    May 8, 2015 at 6:01 pm

Instead of using their work time and energy in adding new features, or any new nova for example thief class, boss, etc. They use it to create this really infant thing that will even be deleted, seems like a SNES game for kids of the 90′. We already have the GM’s clowns to laugh about.

LOL, this game is hopeless. I came back a few times after quitting only to quit time after time. This retarded shit that you speak has put a nail on the coffin for me. Checking these updates just to see the game that I once was obsessed with gone to shit is kinda sad. Thanks for reporting the updates, Max.

Maplestory is still the same game you loved, you just “grew up” and think it’s dead and boring, I’m maple veteran playing since 2006, and I think they’re improving maplestory rather than “killing it.”

          • Anonymous
            May 15, 2015 at 9:19 am

lol no way you’ve been playing since 2006 and think that maple is improving. If you truly knew the essence of the game back then, you would agree with that guy.

MapleStory… what have you become, this is really bad.. no wonder why this game have no population anymore… sucky ideas with business dirty tactics… while others games like dota 2, league, etc pays you while you pay, hopefully these greedy nexon monsters dies very soon.

        May 14, 2015 at 11:06 pm

Maplestory hasn’t changed, It’s still free to play, and it’s not even pay to win, there are many events and ways to get strong items, what sucky idea’s have they made? Dirty business? All companies do “dirty business” but worse, just be glad maplestory is FREE, payment to support a free game is not even dirty, it’s mostly appearance and some “Pay2win” items, but in realism, not everyone wants appearance, and just want a quick boost. I am honestly shocked how many people think maplestory has gone to shit, when in reality it’s becoming bigger and better, grow up boy, old maple was hard and was slighty nostalgic, new maple is Better and fun.
Dota2? they do the exact same thing what maplestory does, free to play, With appearance items, I’m sorry if you want to play an over rated game like dota, rather than league or ms.

well that’s pretty shitty. a temporary class that gets deleted. crap like this makes me wonder if i really do want to play maplestory 2 after it comes out. -_-
i wonder if people complain enough after getting to level 200 only to be deleted if they will bring it back with a permanent version.
only time will tell. i do know that this is not an exciting update to me.

This is so fucking stupid, why go through all this trouble to make something like Pink Bean and then delete it?

      May 12, 2015 at 10:54 pm

I 100% agree with you. Nexon is giving us more and more useless shit with each update and nothing to actually keep players interested. The only people who like this crap are the 12 year old children… They could fix and re-release the actual pvp that was so fun when it first came out, but instead they bring out that legends bullshit and now THIS?!

Maplestory is going to the dogs.*flips a big double bird gesture*

        May 12, 2015 at 11:29 pm

If I understand you correctly when you said legends, I agree Maplestory went to shit when the legend classes came out. PvP was one of the better things they could have focused on.

        • Fuck You Nexon
          May 14, 2015 at 1:46 pm

To be fair Legends patch was awesome! and so was Justice/Renegades (GMS), Tempest, Mark of Honor Sengoku Classes, Unlimited/Unleashed (GMS), RED Explorers Revamp + Zero Transcendent, Beast Tamer, U&I Shade (Lost Hero), and Black Heaven w/ Resistance major updates, ofcourse GMS had its Dawnveil/Gollux/San Commerci update was nice addition

All these updates are good because we had ACTUAL content, new characters new bosses, new locations, and new godly gears for the lvl200+ elitist players that care about damage ranges.

This Pink Bean thing is a fucking joke back in April 1st
Its like the corporate execs at Nexon looked at this Pink Bean troll idea and thought and said

“YEAH LOL Aprils Fools?! that’s a great idea, let’s actually make this REAL content, and then to troll our customers we will delete all these Pink Bean characters cus we can, we are rich as fuck anyway now,and them dumb kids will stay play our game and keep us rich as fuck!”

          • Anonymous
            May 14, 2015 at 11:11 pm

I agree with everything you said except with nexon being greedy, The updates were all pretty good, but What i want to know why you praise nexon, then you scold them for doing an event character, I mean they do that all the time, but deleting the all pink bean characters is TOO far, I mean, you already made it, why not just keep it for the fans to fuck around with, or for people that just love pink bean. I hope they bring this even to GMS, probably wont happen but I can dream.

  19. May 12, 2015 at 8:19 pm

Something has been bugging me about this class….How does it look when you die as a Pinkbean?
My only guesses till I see this are…
1-PB floats in a circle with crying animation
2-Same as 1 but looks like after crying
3-Does the death animation and goes in a portal and you gotta press the button to play again and your name is still displayed under you

Another thing I wonder and I wonder if any of you think Nexon would do this…

After the event blows over, Add Pinkbean in the Return of Legends PVP as a fighting type like they did with that cartoon man running a rampage?

So instead of a new class, instead of 5th jobs, they do a temporary Joke job…..*flips table*

  23. Carby
    May 14, 2015 at 10:31 am

So we have a similar case akin to Mihile again. The fact that it’s temporary, the rewards being generic like most events, and they get deleted just makes this rather pointless in the long run.

You dumbshits look at the desc. carefully, after you reach lv 100 you get an gift box that you can give to another character. Now i have played KMS and i know the contents in the gift box. You get one potion that lets one of your character level up from lv1 to lv 120 and you get an extra character slot. It’s so worth it because you can get a character level up to lv120 from level 1 when you only have to work for getting pinkbean to level 100.

  25. Anonymous
    August 13, 2015 at 11:01 pm

lol 120 is nothing now, i would rather just make the character from scratch. What with burn out now getting to level 100 litearly requires zero effort. Plus maple gives you decent noob gear once you hit 100 anway.

Even though I much preferred old maplestory, and the general community (aka people you see talking) has become pretty awful these days- but the actual content of the game is not all bad. I love the pink bean class- sure it’s a bit ridiculous, but it’s cute and questing to complete the diary achievements is fun. I used to hate the new classes too, but you learn to live with them and some are lots of fun.
The reason pink bean is getting deleted is because it was more like a challenge class. It’s insanely OP and so having them around permanently would be kind of a pain. o_o
At the end of the day it’s still a fun game, and it’s not just “pay to win”- it’s entirely possible to enjoy and get far in the game without spending anything! But again, the community nowadays ruins it for me. Everyone is so immature and not to mention unfriendly. >_>
