kMSt ver. 1.2.015 – New Job Kinesis!

Kinesis Character Creation

The new job Kinesis which uses the power of telekinesis has been released to the test server! Kinesis is not part of any existing job branches (the tag in the top right of the information simply says Kinesis) and is a mage class.

Wow this post was super annoying to do because there are no extractions anywhere! I had to manually go through the data myself (that’s why there are no animations and there are some descriptions/skill levels missing). I hope that by tomorrow I can update this post with more information!

Kinesis Character Name

The hero who has crossed two worlds, Kinesis, has been added!

  • Kinesis uses telekinesis to attack by picking up nearby enemies or things, and can use charged up Psychic Points to unleash powerful Ultimate skills.
  • 1 Ultimate skill is given per job, and each one will strengthen lower level jobs’ Ultimate skills as well.

Kinesis Character Gender Kinesis (Male) Kinesis (Female)

  • You can select male or female when creating Kinesis.
  • In the test server, Kinesis will begin in Maya’s House and can talk to the Advancement Helper to level up and advance.
  • You can receive Kinesis’ secondary weapon from the Advancement Helper after advancing to first job.

Psychic Points

Kinesis attacks by picking up and throwing monsters which is a very unique play pattern that does not exist currently. In this first test server patch, they would like users to give their opinions on its play patterns. Additional work such as damage is being done to create good class balancing so they can reach ‘harmony’ after sufficient testing.

The animations don’t look good, especially the holding of objects, they should delay this till the new animation system is out in my opinion I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be one with the new system

Unimaginative and lazy, these are just new skins put over shit that exists in 20 other classes.

if the link skill were 5%-10% crit chance it would have been far better

      • Dark Evan
        July 15, 2015 at 9:57 am

bc there isn’t already a link that gives crit chance? Need I remind you we already have Phantom’s Phantom Instinct (which gives 10/15% crit chance) AND Beast Tamer’s Spirit Surge in GMS? (which gives 3/4% crit chance)
i’ll be using this link, thank you, my main can easily hit the critical chance cap without another source…

What i hope out of this class is the ability to pick up players and throw them at mobs. Please nexon make this a thing.

    July 15, 2015 at 4:34 am

Kinesis has alright animations with black, white and grey and colour in ultimates. Just needs one more attacking skill in 4th job that doesn’t have a cooldown.

“Wow this post was super annoying to do because there are no extractions anywhere! I had to manually go through the data myself”

You didn’t get to benefit from other people’s work? How super annoying that must be!

    • Welp
      July 16, 2015 at 6:03 pm

Well, the point of this blog is not to mine the data, but to translate and present it…..

Max went out of his way to extract the data, so you should at least give him that much credit…

      July 15, 2015 at 9:26 pm

They should start fixing classes and prepare them for 5th job “Reboot” didn’t do shyt for Pirates.

5th Job Advancement is in development. This will take a lot of time and effort to make this system perfect and balanced for every single class.5th Job Advancement isn’t just a new advancement but a VERY BIG DEAL to Nexon. What they should continue doing in the meantime, is to keep making the game interesting with new content, improve game systems and to continue eliminating the burden of using cash items (cubes, safety scrolls, etc.).

What I’m looking at so far is exciting. Reboot World, the new 2D Skeleton Animation Engine, and Kinesis are the things I’m looking forward to.

I like how the “play pattern” is supposed to be about throwing enemies around… but you don’t apparently get that untill level 60+

Very lame class. Sorry but this is just lazy on nexon’s part. All these skills look like they are taken from other classes. Link skill really sucks, 8% min? Why not something higher and better. Also this looks like a freaking weak version of BaM. Looks very boring. Poor designing nexon, stop making new classes and work on 5th job!

Can Kinesis use shields as a secondary weapon instead of those chess pieces?

Maybe not Luminous though. I main Luminous but I also can’t wait to try this one out, too.
