KMS ver. 1.2.260/261 – Server Issues & More Channels!
Within 5 days of the 5th job patch, there have been a total of 5 server maintenances and 2 patches because of the immense lag and disconnections taking place in the game.
The first patch was just some bug fixes and some compensation but the one yesterday brought something I don’t think has ever been added before, additional channels!
KMS ver. 1.2.260
In the additional patch KMS ver. 1.2.260, they increased regeneration rate of monsters in more hunting grounds.
- Stone Giant Colossus
- Exploration Field West Road 1~3
- Exploration Field Dangerous Road
- Exploration Field East Road 1~3
- Bee’s Colony 1~3
- Bee’s Home
- Stone Giant’s Upper Body 1~3
- Stone Giant’s Body 1~3
- Kritias (after completing the quest line)
- Freezing Forest 1~2
- Beginning Tragedy Forest 1~5
- Glowing Forest 1~2
- Deepening Tragedy Forest 1~5
- Ending Tragedy Forest 1~5
- Fallen Magician’s Forest 1, 3
- Shadowy Forest 1~2
They also added additional compensation due to the terrible server lag that has been present since the 5th job patch (and even before that). Until July 24, everyone will receive the following benefits:
- 7 free entries to Monster Park
- Star Force enhancements’ meso cost 30% discount (does not include Superior items)
- Daily limit of V Coins from V Boxes and number of V Coins from V Boxes will be increased to 2x the regular amount
- Beat the Heat event’s number of V Coins from the Punch will be increased to 2x the regular amount
- Scroll Trace Fever Time (except Reboot)
- Mastery Book 20/30 price discount to 300k/500k mesos (however, they will be untradeable)
In addition, due to the delay in increasing the maximum amount of slots from 96 to 128, everyone will receive +32 slots for free (in every inventory category except storage) once they figure out the problem and are able to add it to the game.
KMS ver. 1.2.261
In this patch, channels 20-29 have been added to certain worlds (those which have a high population). At first, they were only available to Red but after a server maintenance today, Scania, Luna, and Elysium have them as well.
EDIT: A few days later, they have removed all of the extra channels. RIP.
Since the 5th job advancement requires you to have completed the Kao quest line in the Temple of Time (which in turn requires you to unlock up to the Road of Oblivion), the spawn rate of Dodo, Lilynouch, and Lyka have been increased.
In this patch, they added EVEN MORE compensation because there have been a ton of maintenances and lag. Everyone who logged in from July 14 to July 20 will receive the Maintenance Reward Box. The box is account tradeable and you can take out specific items separately (even different amounts of the same item).
- 10 3x Experience Coupons (15 minutes)
- 3 Storm Growth Potions (can only be used by characters level 1~199)
- 3 Personality Growth Potions (choose which trait to increase)
- 10 Special Medals of Honor
- 10 Miracle Circulators Voucher
- 3 Premium Water of Life Vouchers
- 300 V Coins
You’ll also receive the Gift Box, which contains the items from the cancelled Hot Time. This box is also account tradeable but when opened, it gives everything all at once.
- V Celebrity Outfit Set (permanent Cash set)
- Celebrity T-Shirt (top)
- Celebrity Pants (bottom)
- Five Light Stick (weapon)
- Star Force 12 Star Enhancement Scroll (100% success rate)
- Summer Slot Box
- Selective 8 Slot Expansion Coupon
- 8 Slot Storage Expansion Coupon
- Character Slot Expansion Coupon
- 3 Eternal Rebirth Flames Voucher
- 100% Epic Potential Scroll
Finally, the following benefits will take place from July 22 to July 27. They’re the same as the ones mentioned above from ver. 1.2.260 + 2x drop.
- 2x drop in all worlds
- 7 free entries to Monster Park
- Star Force enhancements’ meso cost 30% discount (does not include Superior items)
- Daily limit of V Coins from V Boxes and number of V Coins from V Boxes will be increased to 2x the regular amount
- Beat the Heat event’s number of V Coins from the Punch will be increased to 2x the regular amount
- Scroll Trace Fever Time (except Reboot)
- Mastery Book 20/30 price discount to 300k/500k mesos (however, they will be untradeable)

Any info when Reboot is getting additional channels?
Reboot got a new server instead, so i doubt they’ll adding new channels in them
They screwed up Limit Break!
Now Square Enix only has ONE reason to enact a lawsuit!
(It’s because it was exactly the way Stop magic is handled in Kingdom Hearts, the damage is all taken after time resumes for the target)
really..? dual blade 90s cd for blade storm while aran is still 150s?? nigga aran’s 5th job skill is a buff for crying out loud..
Will they ever fucking stop buffing DB and phantom?
Cry me a river
Yeah man I hated when arrow platter got turned into a third job skill that was such a huge buff.
How about when they made ice orb worthless? That was the biggest buff ever, or how about reboot making 90% of buffs passives and thus unstealable? Biggest buff ever to now have 0 use for 1st-3rd job skills.
Because your own buffs (60luk passive, 35%crit, 40%status resist, free wheel, 80att, 15%crit dmg, 30%dmg, 30%pdr, dSE) are not OP enough right? Other classes don’t have this privilege (and sadly cross surge and HS are in that 10% of buffs that you can still use). The concept of phantom class is nice but broken, you are now even able to steal hyper so silence. Mille was buffed enough to match with platter (attack speed and damage), bowmasters were damaged more than you which is absurd. Tempest was already made OP enough. Now you have a skill that just had its hits doubled and cooldown reduced, as well as damage sneakily boosted, with what face do you reply even?
Not even speaking a word about DB or xenon because I have yet to see one nerf on them.
To be fair, despite the natural stat gains a Phantom has, they’re plagued with weapons that have WEAK base attack and skills that have WEAK lines.
if i’m understanding the changes correctly, since Joker no longer triggers Carte Noir, the hit count is essentially unchanged.
The damage was boosted quite a bit, i’ll give you that.
Besides that, the game is no longer about hit count, They JUST removed the cap, got it memorized?
Now you have to weigh the total damage, boss damage, final damage, TOTAL skill damage (the damage per line times the number of hits), and natural attack against one another to determine the maximum dps. Not just how many hits they can squeak out.
Essentially if you want to measure a class’s dps, you’ll have to calculate its range with the best possible setup, (gear, links, char cards, passives)
I detect that you harbor a grudge against Phantom’s gimmick, bro.
It’s not like you don’t have anything he can’t take from you…
He’s got a lot of restrictions on what he can steal.
EG no passives, no summons (meaning no shadow partner or mirror image), all his awesome skills are third job, so he needs to sacrifice a 4th job slot to use skills that would have been better if even one of them remained a 4th job skill.
What’s more, assuming Phantoms still USE Arrow Platter after the nerf, their DPS was actually hurt more than Bowmasters was because they ONLY steal your arrow platter, and hurricane was buffed when it was moved back to 4th job.
This, in turn, means that phantom took the ENTIRE hit to his dps, wheras Bowmasters only took HALF of it.
Although, Heroes of Maple suggests he doesn’t HAVE to steal only from adventurers, but when he joined, Freud warned him “Keep your hands to yourself, Afrien doesn’t like thieves”.
No stealing from heroes. He keeps his word. If he says he’s going to take something, he will, if says he won’t, he won’t
Cygnus knights are off-limits because they exist to protect the last trace of Aria’s legacy
He refuses to even do anything that COULD put her in jeopardy, like taking a skill book even for just a moment to glance at its contents and memorize it with his Impeccable Memory. and return it without them noticing.
The resistance? He doesn’t steal from those who are struggling to get by.
He became a thief in the first place because he was sick of seeing fellow Aristocrats in Ariant fatten themselves up while the people starved.
Will they ever stop buffing DB and Phantom?………..
Hey Max, do you know if Mech’s 5th job skill is buffed by Robot Mastery?
Oh sweet! They (mostly) un-nerfed Elemental Blast!
First Tespia had 600% dmg X 6 lines X 4 “spells” (I assume they’re 4 different skills auto-linked together like how Evan’s Mana Burst IV and Battle Mage’s Sweeping Staff are each 2 skills forcibly strung together, [as in, you can’t cancel the 2nd half of the animation or 2nd set of hits]) and 150 sec cd
Second Tespia had 1500% dmg X 6 lines X 4 skills and a 60 second cd
Live server nerfed that 1500% to 900%.
Next patch boosted that 900 back to 1350%
What is that “Ch 20 (korean words)” between Channel 1 and Channel 2 in the images you posted? There is already a channel 20 down there.
That is a channel that only users that are 20 years old or more can login to.
