    • Max
      January 5, 2017 at 2:54 pm

I’m having trouble understanding the changes but I think it’s just about MP consumption so it shouldn’t be too important. I’ll try and see if I can get a friend to help me out with the translation!

    • Max

I have no idea, the Conversion Star Force skill doesn’t have any specifics at all so I don’t know where in the data that would be stored 😦

    • Max

Hey Max, do you have ANY idea why nexon keeps nerfing the mech summons? Also that Micro Missile skill is really powerful.

    • Max
      January 5, 2017 at 2:57 pm

I guess they think its too strong, IDK 😛

      • Angela
        January 6, 2017 at 3:28 am

I’m starting to think that KMS really doesn’t like mechanic as a class very much. They are continuing to nerf them, and don’t really seem to know WHAT they want to do with them. It is really disappointing to me as I mained mech, and I find their mechanics(lul) to be interesting.

Bishop’s Vengeance of Angel: a cooldown of 2 seconds has been added.
What does this mean? Isn’t it a toggle skill or is angel ray itself getting a cooldown?

    • Max
      January 6, 2017 at 1:03 am

Yeah so the ability to toggle it on/off is what is getting the cooldown. So whenever you turn it on, you have to wait at least 2 seconds before you can toggle it off (and vice versa).

  14. Jeffrey
    January 5, 2017 at 9:32 pm

soo is the cross surge thing meant to nerf phantoms? Also im not sure but i heard about final cut getting nerfed. Is this coming in the future?

    • Anonymous
      January 6, 2017 at 12:44 am

it should be, because dark knights still end up with 1.8 final damage

      • Jeffrey
        January 8, 2017 at 9:12 pm

wait nvm, phantom is receiving final damage from thier own source. Final damage is multiplicative so 1.2×1.25.x1.2=1.8. Big buff to phants since they wont rely too much on xsurge and also damage increases wont fluctuate as much with hp changes

That throwing star skill for nightlords seriously reminds me of avenger

  19. MonsterZed
    January 6, 2017 at 9:12 am

Demon Avenger’s blood feast needs a control scheme change. Being forced to hold down a skill button while spamming other skills/moving sounds extremely clunky.

How it should operate is pressing once starts the charge, pressing again (or just leaving it be till max charge expires releases the charge). With let’s say 1s early window for swift double presses ( for the minimum hp consumed/damage done version).

    • Anonymous

      +1
MapleStory change the Style of Demon Avenger is good. This is a avenger character. But Blood Feast got a CD. It not match with the current scheme.

Lion King’s Castle quests have been adjusted.
To make completing these quests easier, the number of items required has been reduced/the drop rates have been increased.

Max, do you know what is the exact amount now?

    • Max
      January 9, 2017 at 3:51 pm

Uh can’t remember specifics of how they were before but I just did them this weekend in KMS. The ‘1st/2nd/3rd/4th tower key’ quests only require 100 etc items now.

honestly this game is just bull, there are so many classes that are so broken like Nightlord and Dual Blader but mercedes gets a skill that has 180 seconds while these thieves get one with 25 and 10 seconds which is super strong, Nightlords have great mobbing and damage and mercedes has to use their 3rd job skill for mobbing when in the hell are we going to get a buff like WAs when their arrows fly everywhere or get a clone to where we can not take damage. we’re one of the very few classes that have to have a 10 second skill that gives good damage but why do we have to constantly use combos and make sure out damage is maximized. This is honestly unfair and complete garbage, they don’t nerfs NLs at all or Dual Bladers but we can’t get a single buff

    • Anonymous
      January 11, 2017 at 1:53 am

Seriously, being a shad player I have to agree with you on certain points. They don’t nerf db and nl enough. Both blade tempest and spread throw are so op, while shad getting a lame assaulter comeback skill for 1st 5th job skill and some players are cheering for it. I mean cheer for what good sake??? This is 5th job, NOT a tea party for reminiscing good old times when shad gets assaulter or band of thieves!! WE DESERVE AN OP AND COOL, VISUALLY IMPRESSIVE SKILL like db coz ITS 5TH JOB. Instead, our design and styles were being ripped off and given to db, damn unfair and stupid i would say.

      • Anonymous
        April 1, 2017 at 3:08 pm

You shads are getting a god damn sick move coming up at high damage % and low cd how about chill out abit. If you want to complain complain about the dbs they are the op f**ks not NLs yes good mobbing and all NLs are freaking paper and gonna get nerfed in the upcoming patches up to our second job passive skill so what do you think while db don’t get any nerfs at all. NLs and Shads are the originals so let’s get along and hope the devs open their eyes and nerf db someday ya.

  22. Bao
    January 14, 2017 at 7:23 am

Hi Max, about afterimage shot, is the passive effect only activated when afterimage shot is on cd or can it be activated even if afterimage shot is not on cd?

    • Max
      January 14, 2017 at 1:29 pm

It is only activated when the skill is on CD. Many Bowmasters on Insoya don’t even use the skill because stopping to cast it every 20s lowers their DPS vs just continuing to use Hurricane so its disappointing :/

Max, just wanna check something with you here. Does the Phoenix/Freezer enhancement cores’ damage stack with Evolve (The one that changes the birds)? Sorry for the late comment and thanks!

    • Max
      January 17, 2017 at 1:32 pm

I actually have no idea, the Phoenix enhancement skill doesn’t actually say it affects Evolve but Evolve’s description says it ‘enhances Phoenix/Freezer’ so maybe it still counts… I actually tried searching Insoya’s Bowmaster forums for this and didn’t see any threads about t.

hello i wanna to understand something

how do i getting this new 5th job skills?
cuz when we do the 5th job im getting special nodestone for the V update skill
so maybe when the update hit gms all the ppl who did the 5th job b4 will getting special nodestone for this skill?

and what about the case of evan that he has 3 new skills?
i can say that i have evan so will i get all the 3 skills in 1 time?
cuz the evan skills looks pretty cool and i rly want it

it just curios me to know how does it works

    • Max
      March 13, 2017 at 12:00 pm

When this update comes, you will not receive the new skills for free. You’ll have to open Nodestones and get lucky or save up enough Fragments to craft the skills yourself.

        oh it so suck 😦
i was need to know about it b4

so im evan and i need to craft all the 3 new skills each craft separately? each 1 cost around 140 node shards and i even didnt got the other mage skill mana overload that it pretty good

so it rly sad actully cuz the evan skill lokks pretty op

        • Max

No you only need to craft 1, Dragon Break. You need to combine Dragon Break with Elemental Breath (the previous 5th job skill) to make Imperial Breath and you need to combine Dragon Break with Return! (base Evan skill) to make the Dragon Break – Return! skill.

oh rly so i need to craft only the Dragon Break?! very nice, so if i craft the Dragon Break i get with it the Imperial Breath and the Elemental Return(for free)?

i taought that i need to craft all the 3 skill so it cost me x3 node shards Lol

            and 1 more thing Max
            i want to understand something
how ppl collecting so many node shards so they can make most of the skills that they need? i also want thos skills and i dont have much node shards to craft most skills so it rly problem for me to get node stones

how ppl getting so many node stones? even that the drop rate is pretty low and it sad for ppl that only start and didnt do nothing special with the V Matrix like me so i have only the 5th job skill on my system

this thing is so sad for me 😦

Imperial Breath is Evan’s first 5th job skill, if you don’t already have it then you’ll need to craft that too.

Lol I have no idea, GMS has crazy drop rate boosts and stuff so they can get hundreds of Cores per hour. In KMS I swear I’ve only gotten like 500 in total since the V patch.

I don’t know if you can buy more than 5 in the same world, but if you can, it won’t stack past 5.
