Maple Blitz X – 2nd CBT!
After almost an entire year, Maple Blitz X will be having its second CBT from April 20 to 26! Applications are now open for anyone with a Korean cellphone number.
It seems in the past year, they’ve made a couple of changes and have added some new features so I’ll talk about them.
There’s a new logo for the game as well as new art for the characters.
In addition to the heroes from before (Mercedes, Phantom, Oz, and Kairin), Demon Slayer will be a playable hero as well.
In case you missed the last post about this game, it’s sort of like a MOBA-style real-time strategy game. You have three lanes where you use your cards to summon monsters and use skills to get to your opponent’s side and destroy their base.
You can summon monsters from Maple World to fight for you! Each of them will have special characteristics and abilities.
Based on the hero you choose to play, you can also use their skills to influence the battlefield. In this picture, Demon Slayer is using his Demon Scythe skill.
There will be a ranking system that you can climb.

In Dungeon Mode, you’ll face off against the computer I assume, who will control various villains from Maple World.
At Monster Park, you’ll have to stop the endless assault of pushing enemies.
I’m excited to see the new artwork of all these MapleStory characters and monsters!
Maple Blitz X will be the fourth MapleStory app that Nexon currently has released, after Maple Hands + (which lets you look at all information about your character, including stats, equipment, inventory, pets, skills, and quests from your phone), Star Planet Mobile (which lets you play Star Planet minigames on your phone to acquire Mileage in-game) and MapleStory M (which is as close to MapleStory on the go as it gets).

fifth app, everyone forgot about pocket maple. But it’s still getting updated and everything!
As for this, I’ll admit, I was excited for it when they announced it, but it’s a day late and a dollar short, the market just isn’t there with clash royale having come out. Hopefully this is different enough to stake a claim but I don’t think that it’ll be too successful.
pocket maple is still getting updated? After playing maple cygnus till they shut down servers as well as maple theif and that new maple with db mech ab kaiser etc.
Yeah it’s still getting updates. They slowed down since maple M finished it’s final CBT in late august last year, but it’s still getting them, they got blaze wiz about a week or two before maple M dropped, and they’re teasing a new character in-game. Don’t know how long it’ll last though, maple M is actually incredibly popular because it ties in to the proper client in so many ways, so I expect pocket to get shut down at some point this year, but that said, it IS still getting updates.
