KMS ver. 1.2.408 – Wild Hunter Remaster & World Archive!

The official server has been updated with the Wild Hunter remaster, as well as skill changes to other jobs, and the new World Archive system!

Like I mentioned before, this post was late because I was in LA for MapleCon last week. I think everyone knows how it went lol, kinda crazy how bad it was considering how much more expensive tickets were this year. Hopefully, Nexon can learn from their (many) mistakes and improve next time…?

Overview

Wild Hunter Remaster

  • The Character Creation UI’s illustration has been changed.

  • Wild Vulcan: Proto
    [Master Level: 20]
    [Crossbow Skill] Use an improved prototype of a crossbow. The fired arrows pierce through enemies.
    • [Level 20]
      Consumes 10 MP. Deals 130% damage 3 times on up to 5 enemies.
  • Jaguar Riding
    [Master Level: 1]
    By communicating with Asili, you can ride them in combat. While riding, your speed and Stance rate are increased. If you are not riding Asili, you cannot use skills other than movement skills.
    • [Level 1]
      Consumes 20 MP. Ride Asili.
      While riding, increases speed by 40 and Stance rate by 50%.
      Cooldown: 1 second.
  • Savage Leap
    [Master Level: 5]
    You can jump once more while jumping to move a short distance. You can use this skill up to 2 times. You can use this skill with the up arrow key to move upwards.
    • [Level 5]
      Consumes 10 MP. Jump a certain distance.
  • Predator’s Leap
    [Master Level: 5]
    Asili marks the nearest enemy with the Mark of Prey. You can use the skill again to teleport to the marked enemy and pounce on them. After teleporting, Predator’s Leap: Running Start will be activated using the power from pouncing on the enemy.
    If you use this skill with the down arrow key, you can change the enemy marked with the Mark of Prey.
    In addition, permanently increases speed and jump.

      Consumes 10 MP. Mark the nearest enemy within a certain range with the Mark of Prey for 600 seconds.
      If you use the skill again, teleport to the prey’s location.
      Change mark cooldown: 0.5 seconds.
      [Passive Effect: 20 speed, 20 jump]

    [Master Level: 5]
    Pounce on your prey and jump once more. This skill is only activated after Predator’s Leap’s teleport, and will be deactivated after being used.
    This skill shares SP with Predator’s Leap.

    Asili lets out a loud cry, temporarily enhancing you and your party members’ combat stats.

  • White Heat Rush
    [Master Level: 10]
    Crouch and jump to push enemies and deal damage. Certain monsters will resist being pushed.
    When you use the skill, you can move diagonally upwards in the direction you are facing. You can use this skill with the down arrow key to move diagonally downwards. You can use this skill with the left or right arrow key to rush forwards. However, you cannot dash forwards while in the air.
    If you are not riding the Jaguar, you can use this skill with the attack key to activate it. If you use the Custom Command, you can use this skill with just the skill key while not riding the Jaguar.
    Custom Command On/Off: Right-click.

      Consumes 20 MP. Deals 1200% damage on up to 8 enemies.
  • Trap Seeder
    [Master Level: 20]
    Install an auxiliary unit that scatters mines in all directions that explode on contact with enemies. Each time new mines are scattered, the previously scattered mines will be recovered automatically.
    If this skill hits an enemy using Damage Reflect, you will not take damage.
    You will not become in-combat when you install Trap Seeder. If you are not in-combat for a certain period of time, Trap Seeder will stop scattering mines.

      Consumes 80 MP. For 60 seconds, install a unit that scatters mines every 5 seconds.
      If an enemy touches a mine, activate an explosion that deals 756% 4 times on up to 5 enemies.
      Mines that were scattered at the same time will only activate the explosion 1 time on a single boss monster.

    [Master Level: 20]
    [Assist Skill] The Spirit Jaguar mercilessly bites enemies. This skill activates after Assist: Rend Claw.
    If this skill hits an enemy using Damage Reflect, you will not take damage. Assist skills are not affected by cooldown reset effects.
    Required Skill: Level 10 Assist: Rend Claw.

      When a crossbow skill hits an enemy, this skill activates automatically (if it is not on reactivation cooldown).
      Deals 821% damage 6 times on up to 8 enemies.
  • Beast Form

    Unleash a feral roar to nullify attacks inflicted on you. This skill is not affected by cooldown reset effects.

  • Draw Back
    [Master Level: 1]
    When activated, you can attack while moving backwards without changing directions. This is applied even if you are not riding a Jaguar.

    If this skill hits an enemy using Damage Reflect, you will not take damage.

      When the Spirit Jaguar hits an enemy, inflict the Another Bite debuff for 90 seconds.
      The Another Bite debuff can have up to 50 stacks.

    Feral power pulses and lets you exert greater strength.

      Consumes 10 MP. Deals 434% damage on up to 7 enemies continuously.
      Periodically fire explosive grenades that deal 355% damage 4 times on up to 7 enemies. The grenades have 190%p increased damage when attacking normal monsters.
      Grenade fire cooldown: 1.5 seconds.
  • Assist: Skull Bash
    [Master Level: 20]
    [Assist Skill] The Spirit Jaguar lunges at enemies. This skill activates after Assist: Fang Snap.
    If this skill hits an enemy using Damage Reflect, you will not take damage. Assist skills are not affected by cooldown reset effects.

    • When a crossbow skill hits an enemy, this skill activates automatically (if it is not on reactivation cooldown).

  • Command: Alpha Surge
    [Master Level: 30]
    [Command Skill] Resonate with Asili, gaining the ability to directly usage the immense power of nature. The commanded Spirit Jaguar pack rushes fiercly towards enemies.
    Command skills can be used without cast action while using Crossbow skills. This skill is not affected by cooldown reset effects.

      Consumes 97 MP. Activate 5 collisions that deal 712% damage 6 times on up to 12 enemies.
      Cooldown: 20 seconds.
  • Lure Beacon
    [Master Level: 10]
    Install a device crafted with the Resistance’s special technology that lures enemies. The Lure Beacon will taunt enemies within a certain range to attack it and will make the Wild Hunter untouchable. If a taunted enemy doesn’t atack for a certain period of time, the taunt status will be cancelled.
    • [Level 10]
      Consumes 80 MP. For 60 seconds, install a luring device that taunts enemies within a certain range.
  • Sharp Eyes
    [Master Level: 30]
    For a certain period of time, grant the ability to find enemies’ weak poins and deal critical damage to all party members.
    Can be registered in a Skill Sequence.
    • [Level 30]
      Consumes 45 MP. For 300 seconds, increases critical rate by 20% and critical damage by 15%.
  • Maple Warrior
    [Master Level: 30]
    The Maple World’s Goddess’ protection increases all of your stats by a certain percentage. If you use the skill, the Maple World’s Goddess will appear for a short time.
    • [Level 30]
      Consumes 70 MP. The Maple World’s Goddess appears.
      [Passive Effect: Increases all stats of directly invested AP by 15%]
  • Hero’s Will
    [Master Level: 5]
    Focus your mind to remove status effects. After using this skill, you are immune to status effects for 3 seconds. However, this skill does not apply to certain status effects. Combot Orders is not applied.
    Hero’s Will can be used while using other skills.

      Consumes 300 MP. Activate 9 strikes that deal 787% damage 10 times on up to 15 enemies.
      Cooldown: 20 seconds.
  • Wild Vulcan: Overdrive
    [Master Level: 30]
    [Crossbow Skill] Use crossbows with maximum firepower from the Resistance’s technology. When this skill hits an enemy, activate additional explosions from the overheated mechanical device. While using this skill, you cannot be knocked back by any enemy attacks and are immune to critical status effects.
    • [Level 30]
      Consumes 1000 MP. You can hold the keydown for up to 3.5 seconds. Deals 1045% damage 7 times on up to 12 enemies continuously.
      When this skill hits an enemy, activate an additional explosion from the overheated mechanical device that deals 748% damage 5 times on up to 12 enemies. The additional explosions will also consume Another Bite debuffs.
      During the keydown, you will take 50% reduced damage (including % HP atacks).
      Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Primal Bloom
    [Maser Level: 30]
    By completely resonating with Asili, release the immense power of nature. The power of nature blooms into a wild domain filled with primal energy.
    Can be registered in a Skill Sequence.
    • [Level 30]
      Consumes 1000 MP. 20 second duration. 10 seconds of invincibility.
      When you cast the skill, activate 30 Another Bite debuffs on up to 15 enemies.
      During this skill, Assist skills’ reactivation cooldowns are fixed to 1.5 seconds, and when an Assist skill activates, all Assist skills will be activated at the same time.
      Command skills’ cooldowns are decreased by 40%.
      When Crossbow skills’ attacks hit an enemy, the number of Another Bite debuffs consumed is increased to 2.
      Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Overbite
    [Master Level: 30]
    The rage of the wild accumulated through Another Bite explodes into a roar. When a certain number of Another Bite debuffs on a boss monster are consumed, this skill will be activated automatically.
    Overbite will only activate when the monster that activated it can be attacked. Another Bite debuffs consumed on non-boss monsters do not affect Overbite.
    If this skill hits an enemy using Damage Reflect, you will not take damage.
    • [Level 30]
      When activated, 1.9 seconds of invincibility.
      When you consume 60 Another Bite debuffs on the boss monster with the highest max HP in the map, this skill activates automatically.
      If there are multiple boss monsters with the highest max HP, the Another Bite consumption will be added up.
      Activate 4 roars that deal 909% damage 13 times on up to 15 enemies.

World Archive

A new expedition has begun in the Dimensional Library. Help Thales investigate monsters and NPCs around the world to complete the encyclopedia.

The <World Archive> has been added.

  • The World Archive is an account-based collection system, collected on a per-Maple ID basis.
  • You can add information on Maple World’s monsters and NPCs to the encyclopedia. Defeating monsters or talking to NPCs will automatically register their information in the World Archive.

※ Grandis and Arcane River areas will be added in a future update.

How to Use the System

You can begin the World Archive by accepting the ‘[Dimensional Library] World Archive Project 1, 2, 3’ quest. When you complete the related quests, you will be able to access the World Archive UI through the full menu.

※ Characters level 100 or higher that have completed the ‘[Dimensional Library] Please Visit the Dimensional Library’ quest can do this through the NPC Librarian Thales.

※ The quest progress is shared between all worlds, and you can only complete it 1 time per Maple ID.

You can check your encyclopedia collection status and search for each area’s monsters and NPC information through the World Archive UI.

  • World Select Screen
    • You can select from Maple World, Grandis, Arcane River, or the Appendix.
    • Clicking each button will take you to the corresponding world’s region select screen.
  • Region Select Screen
    • A list of regions within the selected world will be displayed. You can check each region’s collection progress.
    • The filter feature lets you search by ‘All’, ‘Incomplete’, or ‘Completed’ status. You can search by region name or collection record name.
    • Clicking each region button will take you to the region’s detailed collection screen.

Cassandra has arrived after hearing the news about the Wild Hunter remaster! Participate in the SAVAGE attendance check and receive gifts!

Event Participation Requirements:

  • All Wild Hunter characters.

Event Period:

  • October 23, 2025 after the maintenance ~ November 19, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

You can select the ‘[Remaster Event] SAVAGE’ in the Event List and click the ‘Participate’ button to start this event.

Once per day, you can defeat 1,000 monsters within your level range on a Wild Hunter character to complete the SAVAGE attendance check and receive rewards.

The SAVAGE attendance check can be completed up to 10 times over the event period.

You can press the <Use> button in the top right corver of the SAVAGE UI to use the <SAVAGE Pass> which completes a SAVAGE check-in that you did not complete previously. It costs 3,000 Maple Points per 1 Pass.

[Halloween Event] Night of the Yetis

A hunt between monster Yetis and hunters! Survive the spooky night in El Nath and acquire various rewards!

Event Participation Requirements:

  • Level 101 or higher characters (Zero characters that have completed Chapter 2).

Event Period:

  • October 23, 2025 after the maintenance ~ November 5, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

※ During the event period, Henesys, Nameless Town, Cernium Square, and City of Researchers will be decorated for Halloween.

You can select ‘[Halloween Event] Night of the Yetis’ in the Event List and click the ‘Participate’ button to enter the <Monster Yeti Hunter Temporary Outpost>.

You can participate in <Night of the Yetis> through Quick Start or Party Play by talking to Scadur.

If you choose Quick Start, you can choose your desired role between hunter and Yeti to start matching.

※ If you choose a role and matching is not complete within 30 seconds, you may be matched as the other role.

※ You can proceed in Quick Start without a party, and you will play with 4 other players that applied through Quick Start.

If you enter as a party, the party leader will always be the hunter.

※ You can proceed in Party Play in a party of 2-5 players.

※ Hunting Points and number of wins will not be accumulated in Party Play.

※ The Monster Yeti Hunter Temporary Outpost is a cross-world waiting room, so you can form parties with players from other worlds.

Night of the Yetis

  • Night of the Yetis is a survival game where the roles of surviving and hunting are reversed based on the time of day.
  • 5 players, matched cross-world, are assigned the roles of 1 hunter and 4 monster Yetis.
  • You can use WASD to move, SPACE to jump, and the mouse/keyboard to use skills.
  • The game is divided into daytime and nighttime, and will begin in daytime.
  • Night Energy: The game begins at 0 Night Energy. When it reaches 300, it will become nighttime.

※ Night Energy will increase periodically.

※ The hunter cannot use skills during nighttime.

※ At nighttime, the monster Yetis transform into giant Yetis, and their skills will change.

※ When the hunter uses the Shoot skill, it will increase if they miss a monster Yeti and decrease if they successfully hunt a monster Yeti.

  • The hunter can win by finding and hunting all of the monster Yetis that are mimicking the Dark Junior Yetis during the daytime, or by reaching the hideout during the nighttime.
  • The monster Yetis can win by surviving until nighttime and either hunting the hunter or if the hunter fails to reach the hideout within the time limit.

※ At nighttime, the hunter’s hideout located furthest from the hunter’s current location will be activated. The hunter can win if they reach the hideout within the time limit.

Monster Yetis

  • The monster Yetis can win by surviving until nighttime and either hunting the hunter or if the hunter fails to reach the hideout within the time limit.
  • The monster Yetis can mimic Dark Junior Yetis by using the Head Scratch and Hide Legs skills.
    • Head Scratch: This skill mimics the Dark Junior Yeti’s actions.
    • Hide Legs: This skill hides the monster Yeti’s legs. While they are hidden, your speed and jump are decreased. You can use the skill again to unhide your legs. If your Hunger reaches 100, your legs will be revealed.

※ Head Scratch can only be used while your legs are hidden.

※ Hide Legs can only be used when you have 1 or higher hunger.

※ The usable skills will change based on the monster Yeti’s legs.

  • Hunger: You start at 100 hunger, and it decreases over time. If your hunger reaches 0, the monster Yeti’s legs will be revealed and you cannot use the Hide Legs skill.
  • Eat Food: When used near food, you can eet it to replenish your hunger.
  • Dash: This skill lets you jump a set distance forward.

※ When you use Eat Food, your current location will be briefly displayed to the hunter.

※ Dash can only be used when your legs are not hidden.

Hunter

  • The hunter can win by finding and hunting all of the monster Yetis that are mimicking the Dark Junior Yetis during the daytime, or by reaching the hideout during the nighttime.
  • The hunter can use their Shoot and Surveillance Camera skills to find and hunt the monster Yetis.

※ For the Shoot skills, you can aim with the mouse cursor and attack the targeted location with the left mouse button.

  • The Surveillance Camera skill briefly reveals the locations of monster Yetis that pass by their installed range without their legs hidden.

※ You can install up to 5 surveillance cameras per game. After installing them, you cannot retrieve them.

※ Once a surveillance camera is installed, it will remain for the rest of the daytime.

Rewards

If you win a game, you will receive 500 Hunting Points and accumulate your number of wins. If you lose, you will receive 250 Hunting Points.

※ If you don’t play for a certain period of time or are the first person to leave an in-progress game, you will receive a penalty preventing you from being able to participate in matchmaking for a set period of time.

You can acquire up to 1,000 Hunting Points per day and up to 3,000 Hunting Points per week.

※ The weekly cap will reset every Thursday at midnight.

You can acquire various rewards based on your accumulated Hunting Points and number of wins.

※ The event progress is shared between all characters within the maple ID.

Challengers World 4th Early Leap

Event Participation Requirements:

  • Level 130 or higher characters created in Challengers, Challengers 2, Challengers 3, or Challengers 4 worlds.

※ Zero characters that are level 130 or higher and have completed story quest Chapter 2 can Early Leap.

Event Period:

  • October 23, 2025 after the maintenance ~ November 19, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

During the event period, you can leap your characters to your desired world through the NPC Isaga in Henesys. You can select the ‘Challengers World Early Leap’ event in the Event List and click the ‘Participate’ button to move to Henesys.

※ Worlds You can Leap To: All worlds.

※ You can move a total of 5 characters to other worlds through the Challengers World Early Leap and End Leap.

  • Basic Hideout Tokens, Intermediate Hideout Tokens, Advanced Hideout Tokens, Challengers Coins, and Advanced Challengers Coins acquired in Challengers World will not be moved with the World Leap.
  • Challengers World Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum rewards that can be acquired from Challengers World missions can only be claimed in Challengers World.
  • The Mystic Seal event’s equipped Seal Core stats will be removed.
  • Maple Hideout Special Menu’s skill levels will be applied based on the world you arrive in.
  • If a character designated as the Manager or Crew in Hideout Duo leaps to a world that wasn’t selected, the character designation information will be removed. In addition, Hideout Duo events cannot be progressed in that world.
  • However, you can continue the event by re-designating a character in the selected world or the world where the character was created.
  • Characters with active Meso Market transactions cannot proceed with World Leap.
  • When World Leaping from Challengers World, items in the cash storage, storage, and Maple Auction will not be moved.
  • Custom Backgrounds acquired using Voucher items will not be moved.

※ Custom Backgrounds acquired using Voucher items can be extracted into Vouchers through the NPC Isaga’s ‘Extract Custom Background’ option. The acquired Voucher can only be put into storage and is permanent.

  • The Tera Burning effect applied when a character is created in Challengers World will not be transferred through World Leap.

※ The Tera Burning effect will be removed when the character is transferred, and the ‘Tera Burning Gift Giveaway!’ quest will no longer be available.

  • The Strange Cube, Karma Meister Cube, Karma Strange Additional Cube, and Karma Star Force 17 Star Enhancement Scroll (Level 160) purchased from the Challengers Shop are Challengers World-only items and you cannot World Leap while holding them.
  • The Selective Challengers Level 4 Special Skill Ring Voucher and the Special Skill Ring acquired from using it are Challengers World-only items and you cannot World Leap while holding them.
  • If a character that has cleared an Epic Dungeon uses World Leap, you cannot claim the cleared Epic Dungeon’s bonus rewards.
  • If there are no empty character slots in the world you are moving to, slots will be added before the Leap.
  • However, if you already have 50 characters in the destination world, you cannot Leap to that world.

    I got a question

    on my own wild hunter b4 the remaster my keyboard is full of so many skills cuz of this jaguar skills shits things that catching alot of space in the keyboard, i can’t add more skills, that annoying

    So my question is, now that those jaguar skills are replaced by assist skills, does those assist skills i need to put in the keyboard? Or it just kind of passive skills that they r auto attking like final att type skills?

    and also i want to understand, the assist skills has 2.5 sec reactivation cooldown, and it shared by all assist skills, so how does it work? When im attking it getting me all 3 assist skills at once? Like the Lara 4th job skills things?

    also im intresting to know about the potential stamps that they removed and they can converted to power elixirs, if when i converting potential stamps to power elixirs, i can covert many potential stamps at once? Or i need to do that 1 ea other?

      Yes Assist skills are passive and will automatically activate as you attack.
      Yes it will use all 3 Assist skills in order at once.
      Yes you can trade multiple potential stamps at the same time, it asks for how many you want to do when you double click one.
