kMS ver. 1.2.136 – Cannon Shooter & the Legend Festival!
The patch is finally over! Cannon Shooters have been released~!
The Link Skill system has been added! At level 70, the ability to link a skill with another character will appear. Press the button and choose a character to link them! You can change the character that the skill is linked to once per day. The three skills that use this system are Pirate Bless, Elf’s Blessing (which does not give you 10% experience like the EXP+ for Cygnus, it gives +10% exp from monsters), and Demon Fury.
I have prepared a blog post about ALL the new things in this patch, and there sure are a lot! Please read past the cut to see them~
The Victoria Island quest reorganization is here! So are the Quick Move and repurchasing systems! The Quick Move system allows you to instantly talk to an NPC on the map, and the repurchasing system allows you to buy back items you have sold to an NPC (until you log off). Everyone also receives a permanent boost of 20% speed!
Clicking on the NPC button on the minimap opens the NPC Find system. Click on an NPC’s name and they will be highlighted on the minimap!
Potions now stack in 300! Potions from alchemy stack in sets 0f 400, and pills from alchemy stack in sets of 800.
There are many, many new event quests! Most of them have to do with the Legend Festival, so a new notification icon was added for them~!
Everyone receives a Legend Teleporation Rock. It can be used as many times as you want until it expires, and has many preset maps. However, there is a cooldown of 30 minutes in between each use.
Everyone also receives a free Character Slot Coupon!
By raising a new job to level 50, you will receive the Legend Ring. It is account tradeable, and at first does not seem that good. However, it is an item that can gain exp, and at its final level it is a very nice ring, with 4 to all stats and 3 attack/magic attack. Surprisingly, this ring IS stackable with previous event rings!
From level 50 to 100, every 5 levels, Maple Admin will give you 3 1.5x exp coupons as well! At level 70, you’ll have a choice of 1 Special Mastery Book from Maple Admin.
The new world, Legend, has been released. Reach level 70 on this new world and you will receive the Legend Bandana. Reach level 100 and you will receive the Frontier Earrings!
Of course, what would a patch be without Cash Shop items? The Legend Royal Hair Coupon and Legend Royal Face Coupons are now available!

Nineheart’s hair is now available~ And hmm.. that last hair looks like a certain kid detective…
Female
I really like Lilin’s hair haha.
The third unicorn pet, Unicorn Genie is now available! It comes in a package with its hat, food, a Golden and Silver Stamp, and 2 Pet Accessory for Attack Scrolls. Have all three Unicorns and you will gain access to the Pegasus riding skill.
Shop of Legend
Many, many, many desirable items are now on sale in the Shop of Legend! Trade in your Legend Coins by talking to either Randolph for recipes, Legend scrolls, and other special use items or Lucia for Legend equipment or special equipment.

Wow, now how can I get these Legend Coins you might ask? Well, there’s many ways~!
- Level up a profession skill (1 coin for levels 2~4, 2 coins for levels 5~7, and 3 coins for levels 8~10)
- Play a Cannon Shooter or Mercedes character
- Participate in the daily 2:30 PM event at the 3000 Days Hall of Memories (15 coins)
- Clear a party quest 5 times (more coins if you are a new job)
- Clear Monster Park 5 times (more coins if you are a new job)
- Finish 5 rounds of one mode in Super Fight (more coins if you are a new job)
- Once a day, when you log in, you can get some coins (more coins if you are a new job)
- Second job advancement (1 coin), third job advancement (3 coins), fourth job advancement (6 coins)
Note: this is only for Cannon Shooters, Mercedes, and Demon Slayers
Profession Revamp
The amount of fatigue you have has been increased from 100 to 200! Fatigue also replenishes itself much faster! Exp to next level for all professions has been cut in half!
Experience from item creation has also been doubled! That means you can level up your skills 4 times as fast! You can also create items in bulk now, which saves a lot of time!
Menz’ shop has been updated greatly! He now sells two more tickets, to the Senior and Expert rooms! The time you can spend in the secret rooms has been increased~ He also now sells low level ores and flowers!
Before, the heart rock and golden flower were only used for a quick way to get item pot items (and ore fragments/plant roots), but now they actually drop fully refined ores/jewels (heart rock) and flower oils (golden flower)!
Many new items are now available to be made. Through blacksmithing, you can upgrade your Reverse items to Abyss items, and your Timeless items to Fearless! All the Abyss and Fearless equipment, except the overalls, comes with 1 attack, including the hats, gloves, and shoes. A new, more powerful set of Van Leon equipment has been released~! Upgrade your current items! Marx becomes Victor, Fox becomes Celine, Alma becomes Hex, Nox becomes Ska, and Cora becomes Mer. You can also upgrade the items from Dragon Rider PQ to Dragonic items!
For jewel crafting, new sets have been added, such as the Blazing Sun, Half Moon, Immortal Hero, and Eternal Hero. The Immortal Hero set consists of two rings, and when you wear both, you gain a grand total of 25 to all stats and 12 attack! The rings both have 1 slot as well, although they are only level 30. The Eternal Hero set is the same, but it gives 12 magic attack instead.You can upgrade your Dark Angelic Bless to a White Angelic Bless, which gives 10 to all stats and 12 attack/magic attack!
And finally, alchemy receives many new useful potions. There are some that give you invincibility, increased drop and exp rate, or resistance to states and elements! There is even one that acts the same as the skill Hero’s Will, and snaps you out of any state~
New items have been added which are used in the production of new items. The Shards of Chaos drop from monsters that are level 140 or higher. The Philosopher’s Stones appear at a small chance when breaking down equipment level 110 or higher. The Constant’s Beginnings appear when you mine a heart rock or dig up a golden flower.
Many new events have been added to support the new profession system! You receive 2 Legend Coins upon learning a profession. Every time you level up your profession, you also get coins! You get 1 for every level up from 2 ~ 4, 2 from 5~ 7, and 3 from 8 ~ 10.
At level 4 you will receive a free Intermediate Secret Mine Ticket, and at level 7, you will receive a Senior Secret Mine Ticket. You can also borrow Statchel’s Golden Shovel or Nobum’s Golden Pickaxe for 3 days! If you really like them, you can buy a permanent version in the Shop of Legend! Each day, you will be allowed free access to one secret map~! The bags you receive upon learning a skill now hold 8 ores/flowers! A series of training quests has been added. Mechanics and Wild Hunters can now mine on their mounts.
EVENTS
Hot Time
The previously mentioned Hot Time event has been changed! More desirable prizes have been added! There is a 100% chance of getting 20 Legend Coins and 1 AP Reset! You also have a chance to get one of the new Legend weapons, or even an Abyss weapon!
There is also a chance of getting the Hero of Legend Badge! It gives a whopping 10 to all stats, 200 HP and MP, and10 attack and magic attack! Many of you may be wondering what a Badge is. It’s a new slot that we’ve had ever since Monster Park came out, and so far, Monster Park has been the only way to get badges.
There will also be more Hot Time events on July 23 and August 6!
1 + 1
While raising one of the new jobs, you will fill up the Exp+ Gauge Bar on the side of your screen.
At 30 and 70, you will get a potion that holds all the exp you have gained so far. Using these items will give you the exp inside them! They are account tradeable so you can level up another character, or use them on the same one for a free exp boost!
Legendary Sweet and Sour Fruit Juice
Log on and you will receive a journal! You must help Gaga create the legendary sweet and sour fruit juice!
How do you do this? Well, you have to collect 50 of 4 different kinds of fruits (multiple times). The first are strawberries (3 times), then melon (5 times), then kiwi (7 times), then pineapple (10 times)!
You get the Pink Beach Parasol Chair and the Sweet and Sour Earrings at the end!
There is also a quest to make the best Maple Syrup! Hold the bland Maple Syrup for 30 minutes then it will turn into the Maple Syrup of Legend! Return it to Gaga for a buff and 1 Legend Coin. You can only gain 3 Legend Coins a day through this quest.

What’s exactly is this Link Skill by the way? Do you give a Skill from one character to another?
The Link Skill works with 3 skills, Pirate Bless from Cannon Shooters, Elf’s Blessing from Mercedes, and Demon’s Fury from Demon Slayers. It’s basically the same thing like Blessing of the Empress except you can only have the original character and one other character with the skill at one time.

Since its not out yet, I can’t be 100% sure, but it is most likely 1 handed BW only.

Basically you just share the skill among 2 characters. It’s the same as Blessing of the Empress except only the original character and one other can have the skill at one time. :p

Soo, could you possibly explain the whole inventory slot skill thing? I made a Cannon Shooter today, and I noticed I have way more inv space thanks to that skill. Only thing is, I don’t get how it works. I’d love it if you could explain the mechanics behind it! Thanks!
The Master of Inventory skill gives you 12 slots for each advancement you make, or at least that’s what I think since I had 12 in first job and 24 in second.
Legend teleport rock = nerfed Hyper teleport rock we are getting in GMS ( YAYAYAYA)

The 20% speed boost, does that also affect the maximum speed so that characters now are 120/160? If so, does it change the maximum speed limit of bowmen as well so that htye’re now 180 max speed?
No, it doesn’t.

The 20% boost is invisible, meaning that it doesn’t appear on the AP window. Basically, 120% speed is the new 100% speed. So yes, it will let you go to 160% speed (comparing it to the old system) but it will show as 140% speed.

Check the use inventory of the character you first logged on to. And if your inventory is full, make a space and relog.

About those lvl 30 and 70 exp potions, if you use it on a character that doesn’t need that total exp to level up does the extra exp get wasted or will it actually level the character up and continue until all exp has been distributed?

What if the pre-upgraded Item has been scrolled/potentialed/enhanced.
For example, I upgrade a Nox Von Leon Dagger, perfectly scroolled, 3 lines, enhanced, etc to a Ska Von Leon Dagger. Does it keep the stat bonuses it had prior?
With regards to the new upgrade system. What would Happen if I upgraded an item that had been scrolled/potentialed/enhanced. Would the bonuses be kept?
Eg: Perfect Scrolled, Potentialed, Enhanced, Nox Von Leon Dagger>>(?) Ska Von Leon Dagger
It’s not really a new system, its just that the old items are one of the ingredients for the new ones, so no the bonuses will not be kept.

Question: Are Abyss/Fearless weapons tradable?
You can trade them by using Platinum Scissors of Karma but they’re trade blocked upon equipping.
I was wondering if you can give an answer to a few of my questions:
1) After MP gain via ints becomes nullified, does that mean the MP we have been building up before the patch gets nerfed? (For example, let’s say I had 10k before the patch, will it go down afer the patch?)
2) If the MP gain still stays at the said 10k after the patch, does that mean I can still hp wash (add to HP then buy a reset to -MP and +LUK)?
3) If I use the ap reset scroll, will it suck out the points that I have added to HP? or will it leave my HP alone even if I had washed before the patch?
Please try to reply with as clear as possible answers. Thank you for your time.

it’s not upgrading. Basically ur making a new weapon but it involves using a reverse wep.

Legend weapons are different versions of the level 70, 80, 90, 100, and 110 weapons with higher attack/magic attack and no stat requirement.

Yes, but it will become a clean Fearless item (assuming you have Blacksmithing on that character, otherwise you can’t upgrade it).
How long did 1+1 event last?
Until the end of August for this one. Then once it came back sometime in September, it was applicable to every job except Cannon Shooter, Mercedes, and Demon Slayer.
