kMS ver. 1.2.138 – Demon Slayer~
The third and final job of the Legend update has been released! Demon Slayer is now available~!
This is the advertisement for Demon Slayer, a la Mercedes. There is also a female version. It’s really cool. I hope that these anime style mini movies continue! I have created a post for Demon Slayer skill tables for this patch. There were some changes from this patch and the last kMSt patch as well.
Nexon Korea announced something today. The new jobs from the Legend update, Cannon Shooter, Mercedes, and Demon Slayer, will all have a limited time to be created. That is to say, they will most likely be seasonal jobs like Dual Blader for kMS.
Look past the cut for these changes as well as information about the fourth potential rank, new events, and the Demon Slayer tutorial!
This is the tutorial for Demon Slayer. He used to be one of the Generals of the Black Mage’s army, along with Orca, Van Leon, and a new one, Akyrum.
When he returns home, he finds only destruction.
His family, his mother and his brother Damien, were killed. In rage, he went to confront the Black Mage. However, Akyrum stopped him and the Black Mage sealed him away.
When Demon Slayer woke up, he broke through the seal that was sapping his energy away and met J, of the Resistance, who told him he could get revenge against the Black Mage by joining them.
Now for skill changes!
- Concentration: damage increase was increased from 20% to 25%.
- Demon Explosion: initial damage was decreased from 500% to 400%. Secondary damage was decreased from 375% to 335%. Cooldown was removed.
- Demon Impact: Force consumption was decreased from 40 to 30.
- Devil Cry: Force consumption was increased from 50 to 60. Cooldown was removed.
- Metamorphosis: damage increase was increased from 30% to 35%.
About the new potential rank, it is called Legendary. Perhaps because the whole update was called Legend and Nexon just seems a bit crazy about the word right now. A new type of Miracle Cube was added, the Master Miracle Cube. You can only get Legendary rank on an item if you use this new cube. It costs 1900 NX as opposed to a regular cube for 1100 NX. Once an item turns Legendary, you can only use Master Miracle Cubes on it.
Just like the normal cubes, you get a Master Miracle Cube Fragment when you use one. You can trade in 10 for a Silver Stamp, which adds a third line to a 2 lined item at a 50% chance, 20 for an Advanced Item Enhancement Scroll, or 30 for an Epic Potential Scroll, which can be used on a Rare item to change it to Epic.
A Legendary item has a green outline around it. This claw has 40% Boss Damage.
In this patch, the maximum amount of stars on an item when using an Equipment Enhancement scroll was increased from 10 to 15. Protect Shields (Shielding Wards) now work on an item for up to 12 stars.
A new event has started called Enjoy the Summer 100 Fold! Everyone misses the point of the summer, it’s not to wish for better weather! Have fun and make the best of it!
The first part is called Monster Extermination! Each day, you have to kill 200 monsters.
It will be marked in your journal, which like always, lists the prizes that you will get.
- 1 day: 20 Power Elixirs
- 2 days: 1 Legend Coin
- 3 days: 30 Power Elixirs
- 4 days: 3 Legend Coins
- 5 days: 1 Secret Recipe
- 6 days: 1 Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scroll
- 7 days: 3 Special Potential Scrolls
Introducing the Maple world’s new device, the high-tech monster catching Voice Recorder! Hold it for 30 minutes and you’ll a Legend Coin (up to 4 per day) and a buff!
Depending on your level, you’ll get a specific buff. The level 3 one (for levels 120+) gives 400 HP, 30 attack/magic attack, and 10 speed for 30 minutes.
Monsters around the Maple world are dropping Travel Pouches! Open them to get prizes!
- 60% Pet Equipment for Attack/Magic Attack Scrolls
- 60% Armor for Stat Scrolls
- 60% One-Handed/Two-Handed Weapon for Attack Scrolls
- 60% One-Handed Weapon for Magic Attack Scrolls
- 15% Cursed Clean Slate Scroll
- Personality trait potions
- Transformation potions (Orange Mushroom, Ribbon Pig, Grey, Gaga)
- 10 Reindeer Milk
- 10 Unagi
Another event has also begun called the Mark of the Generals! A long time ago, the Black Mage had many followers including his generals. Are monsters beginning to show the mark of these generals…? You’ll have to collect 50 Mark of the Generals each day to find out!
You get a Legend Coin and experience when you turn in the quest. This is another attendance event, minus the journal.
- 3 days: 50 Power Elixirs
- 5 days: 3 1.5x Experience Coupons
- 7 days: Miraculous Chaos Scroll

Does the new cube work like a normal cube as in it goes from rare -> epic -> unique -> legendary or does it only go to legendary. If it is the former then will the rates of change be higher?
I think that its like a normal cube unless the item is Unique in which case theres a possibility of getting Legendary. Of course there might be a higher chance due to the higher price, but its probability and you can’t really measure that.

Man, these new cubes are going to cost me an arm and a leg is I don’t control myself. I really hope I don’t end up having to use an epic potential scroll to get something epic….but knowing my luck. :C
These events are a much want for me. I really hope we can do something this awesome in GMS.

I have a question, Can The Legendary Cube be use on any item ranks? ( Rare, Epic, Unique ) or just unique? I hope its just Unique item or it will be too easy to get an item thats way better than unique
Oh and another question, do Cannon Shooter, Mercedes and Demon Slayers need core books? If so then screw it T.T
Core books meaning skill books? Because no, they don’t need skill books, only mastery books.
I think that if you use it on something thats not Unique, it works like a regular cube.

how 2 control the teleport distance? depends on the amount of the arrow keys or?
You use the skill, and before its over you press one of the arrow keys, then at the end of the attack, you’ll teleport in the direction of the arrow key you pressed.

4th tier was 12 8 8, it’s 12 9 9 for 4th rank now.

No, you have to use a Master Cube to get it to Legendary. So the new way of cubing is, normal cube to Unique then Master cubes forever~

They don’t need cash shop books. I’m not really sure, maybe its to get more people to join now to make them, and to make them more interesting since they’re exclusive :S
I hope the next patch is the JUMP update for Thiefs and Pirates.

Normal chaos scrolls give +5/-5, it can give +10/-10.

Yeah, all clothes are permanent unless you buy the ones that are on sale, in which case they’re 365 days. Pets and shops and things like that are still 90 days though.
Stupid gms. Most items are 90 day an you fork out alot more for permanent. And all these cash items with godly functions. The game is designed that if you want to play, you have to spend alot in nx…
also, the clothes in kms cost less that the ones in gms…

Hey. I got a couple of questions about Demon Slayers…
Can the Force Shields be scrolled/potentialed? Coz that might increase their DF.
So both the scepter & shield come with the character, and don’t require Dex right?
Is there any way to Karma Scissors either of the equipment?
Or can it be hunted from monsters? Would be great to get some scepters from monsters to scroll. 🙂
Only the Ultimate Force Shield has potential, and none of them can be scrolled.
Scepters you get upon advancement, except for the level 50 one which you have to do a quest for. They do not require dex. Force Shields also come with advancement.
No, and no I don’t think so. The one you get is the one you have.

Can demon slayers use normal warrior shields?
No, they use a special shield that they get upon first job advance that increases our demon energy. You cannot drop noir trade it. I think you can potential and/or scroll it but I’m totally unaware if you can or not.
