I guess Nexon didn’t forget that they said Dual Blades and Cannon Shooters would get special treatment! This probably confirms a fourth and final patch for the RED update, including this, Boss Arena? and even those updated boss rewards they talked about.
Did I mention how much I like these new illustrations by the way?

They should make a new archer explorer since archers can only switch to bowmaster and marksman while magicians, warriors, thiefs and pirates can switch between 3 classes. Unfair 😦

These illustrations…. Looks too chibi……. The dual blade revamp one is better and cannoneer’s face looks girly
How could it look too chibi? Maplestory has always had a chibi anime look the very beginning. I mean just look at all of the anime videos that they’ve made as of now.
Compare the last dual blade revamp illustration with current one…. Which one looks more better?
All I see is a slight change in position and weaponry, but you do seem to be right about the current illustration being better.

Just about every single MS official artwork has been featuring nothing but chibis since day 1.
Also if there’s any difference between the old illustrations and the new ones, other than their poses these are cel shaded while the previous ones are soft cel shaded.

The Cannoneer looks good but the Dual Blade, idk his hair should be tilting up a little more (kinda should look like sasuke’s hair) and his face looks too round. Maybe it’s just the position? Anyways I’m super excited and NEXON, GIVE US THE CASH SHOP SET AND THE MASK PLEASE!!!! Oh and the new dagger and katara 🙂

but isn’t dual crossbow a weapon that was made only for mercedes?
Interested to see if the changes will be major or not.
I’m hoping for big changes for Dual Blade, I’d personally like them to lose the odd advancement system that they have, it would be better if they just had 4 advancements like the other adventurers.

And – – – – -Explorers are back in the dust.
These two are considered Explorers now.
They’ve always been Adventurers, just a bit of an anomaly. Now they’ll be treated as a regular third class for their respective route, although I do wonder if you still need to specifically select them on the new character screen or if you can just make a regular Adventurer and then choose from there.
bah still no mech/Mikhail/remaining cygs.
inb4 Mechanics get a complete overhaul and has a patch specially made for them.
More complaints shall pollute the air!
Inb4 Dual Blade and Cannoneer get such excessive change into their play style that makes them ultimately overpowered but people will complain to world’s end on how they have lost their original identity.
