MapleStory 2 – Cinematic Trailer!
A new cinematic trailer has been released for MapleStory 2! I don’t know if it’s what actual gameplay is going to be, but it’s definitely cool! There was that Devlin guy, I guess he’s going to be a summon. What do you guys think about the video?
Oh yeah, there were some teasers which I didn’t post about, so I’ll include those too.
This one is labelled Bella, and it’s the girl from the trailer! She’s some sort of thief/mage… I wonder if MapleStory 2 will have preset characters/jobs. Not sure what vid-bleim is though, Google gives me nothing haha.

It’s been a long time since Nexon made a 3D cinematic film.
Looks like they’re going with more of an open-advancement type system this round. I’m sure I’m not the only person who noticed that Bella was both a thief and a mage. The warrior kind of reminded me of, well, a warrior/Kaizer/Xenon conglomeration. Looks promising.
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one here who thought that Thief/Magician was incredibly attractive.
Goodbye to all people that invested alot of money on Maplestory. This is a new life for me
Can’t wait for Maple Story 2. Played MS since 2009 and had a few quit in moments back and forth but I can still remember the long past and memory of the old game something that drew me in. Back then it wasn’t about damage instead it was about other things such as friends, levels, popularity, having fun and meeting others. It’s what I am trying expect from this newer version of Maple Story, to bring back the past so that newer people can experience what most of us did back then. And if you’re new, if the MS2 is like the old one then with hopes, you will enjoy it 🙂

It’s just a Trailer. The people in the Trailer might actually be “Characters” from the games Story Line…..Or it could be like The Maple Story 1 Trailers and have NOTHING to do with the game. too soon to call it.
LOL, good job Rocky. I think people forgot that Maple Story originally had tons of 3-D trailers which they only stopped doing after the Pirates were created. If it is a mash-up with Maple Story and Dragon Nest then I’m sold. I am crossing my fingers that the graphics will be that good. I’ve been with Maple for around 7 yrs and it is high time I moved on permanently! Hopefully, Nexon takes a little longer to screw this one up.

everything else in the trailer seemed ok though.
i think that was done on purpose. it was supposed to be a cliff-hanger. it was supposed to make u be like “omg! i wonder wat happened after that …i guess i gotta play the game to find out”; therefore, the cliff-hanger was used to attract more players to come play the game wen it comes out -_-
Knowing nexon we are going to need a computer with 32 CPU cores, with a 512 bits video card to run this without lag

after all .. it IS Nexon. Oh well. it’s just a waiting game now. We shall see.
So nexon is faced with a sort of challenge. We all know that they can make GREAT 3d games (dragons nest and vindictus) UNFORTUNATELY they are both instance dungeons

BUT if they can somehow take dragons nest and add maplestory’s cuteness along with the “open world..ish..ness” that maple also has then we would have a GREAT game in front of us. Sadly, the chances of this are slim

I hope maplestory 2 won’t have a single leveled-out plain, where jumping is nowhere necessary like in most 3d games, and retain the multi-platform experience in ms where the exciting jump quest and puzzles exist. Idk if you’d find the shift portals in maps useful or annoying in a 3d game, but one thing for sure, if it’s a side-scrolling game, idw to look at it.
Hope they keep the mech class in this at least, it would be badass to see the missiles and bullets flying every which way.
Also it’s probably gonna be like Sword Art Online where alot of people are girls so they can jizz themselves by looking at themselves. So basically your average realistic(?) 3D game!
