kMSt ver. 1.2.502 – Return of Mushroom Castle!
A new patch has been released, this time with the 11th anniversary (will cover in the real server), the return of Mushroom Castle, some UI changes, and some changes to the revamped Cygnus.
I’m 100% sure the next patch for the real server, containing the Flame Wizard reorganization and the anniversary, will be released on April 24!
A discount to enhancing items, EP, has been added. When enhancing items, 1 EP will be the equivalent of 10,000 mesos and your EP will be used before any mesos. You can get EP by disassembling scrolls in Meisterville.
The required levels to some bosses have changed.
- Normal Horntail: level 120
- Chaos Horntail: level 135
- Easy and Normal Van Leon: level 130
- Easy and Normal Arkarium: level 140
- Normal Pink Bean: level 160
- Easy Magnus: level 115
- Normal Magnus: 155
- Hard Magnus: level 175
Some boss quests have been also changed to be made easier.
After accepting the quest Moira’s Whereabouts, you can automatically be moved to the map a Big Nest’s Peak. Creating Horntail‘s Transformation Potion no longer requires any items, you can just talk to Moira to complete the quest. The Mark of an Expedition Leader quest no longer requires the Proof of Zakum, Pianus, and Papulatus. The Cave of Life’s number of required party members has been decreased from 6 to 2.
The Van Leon quest that gives the Knight’s Scroll now has to be completed only once. After that you can talk to the NPC to receive the scroll instead of collecting the item.
For Pink Bean, you no longer need to collect items to create the Chaos Marble.
For Magnus, users level 155 and up can automatically teleport to the top floor of the Tyrant’s Citadel after they enter it.
Some new quests have been added for Hilla, which I assume are backstory quests!
You might have forgotten but at the beginning of You & I, many theme dungeons and areas were closed. Well it seems like they’re finally working on them again, as Mushroom Castle has returned! It is now open for those level 60 and above.
After the Pepe King’s invasion, Mushroom Kingdom has opened its doors to outsiders once again. However, a new threat now looms over Princess Violetta and the rest of the mushrooms… Go to Blue Mushroom Forest 2 or use the Mushking’s Invitation to quickly save the kingdom once more!
The new NPCs are hilarious, Rolls-Royce, Gamma and Omega, Minus, the dreaded Kopa (King?), there’s even one based off on Anna!
This theme dungeon is so funny, I am definitely calling it the best one to date. It starts off with them trying to cheer up Violetta, they used (a parody of) the MapleStory song some dude sang on Youtube hahaha. And the Black Viking (who they mistake for the Black Mage at first) is also hilarious!

The Party UI has been reorganized. Now, when you create a party, you must choose a name for it. You can change this name later in the party settings. You can also set it as a ‘private party’, where no one else can see it.
The party find window has been deleted. You can now access it through a tab on the new party window. This also includes adding new party members.
Right clicking someone in your party will allow you to add them as a friend, chat, whisper, send them a note and more. There is even a new option called ‘Channel Follow’ which automatically takes you to the channel your party member is in.
Adding someone as a friend has become an option in all the right-click menus, including on characters, guild members, and party members.
The expedition system has been deleted. The existing expedition tab in the Maple User List has been replaced with the Boss tab. Bosses which required expeditions can now be entered with regular parties. All expedition related chat windows, commands, and UI have been removed.
With this new Boss tab, you can see all required information for a variety of bosses, including required level, max level, pre quests required, items required, and daily limits.
After choosing a boss and a difficulty, you’ll enter a queue in which a party with others queueing up will automatically be made. Everyone will be moved to the boss map once the party is complete (you can return to your current map by using a portal).
When applying through the Boss UI, it will check if you are the correct level, have completed the prequests, and if you can still enter the boss that day. Certain bosses will give you a special buff if you use the Boss UI.
The Custom Weapon system has been added. When equipped, Custom Weapons gain stats based on the character’s level. The Custom Weapon’s base required level is also increased. Custom Weapons’ maximum stats and level have a limit. Even if you are a very high level, it cannot go past this limit.
Any upgrades or enhancements done on a Custom Weapon will be based off of the level that the item states.
Currently, the only Custom Weapons are the new 11th anniversary ones. For example, the 11th Anniversary Shining Rod above is a Custom Weapon, it gains stats (up until level 100). It gets 0.8 attack and 1.3 attack per character level from 30 to 100. The character I was on was level 155 and so it would gain the maximum possible stats (0.8×70 and 1.3×70). When upgraded or enhanced, this item is treated as level 100.

Flame Wizard
Elemental Expert: Flame Wizard no longer receives this skill
Flame Bite: now requires level 1 Fire Repulsion
Fire Repulsion: damage taken that is redirected to mana has been increased from 60% to 85%
Burn and Rest: MP restored has been increased from 20% to 60%
Flame Tempesta: skill’s action delay has been adjusted
Born Phoenix: max level has been decreased from 20 to 15
Weakness Insight: minimum critical damage has been decreased from 25% to 15%
Orbital Flame IV: damage has been decreased from 370% to 330%
Blazing Extinction: cooldown has been removed
Spirit of Flame: defense ignore is no longer tied to Ignition-affected enemies, party members will now gain 10% of the elemental resist reduction on Ignition-affected enemies, cooldown has been decreased from 600 seconds to 5 seconds.
Burning Region: duration has been increased from 20 seconds to 60 seconds, cooldown has been decreased from 120 seconds to 90 seconds
Flame Barrier: cooldown has been decreased from 120 seconds to 90 seconds
Truth of Magic: mastery has been increased from 60% to 70%
Unquenchable Flame: in addition to existing effects, Unquenchable Flame now gives 30% resistance to statuses and elements
Dragon Slave: max keydown duration has been decreased from 10 seconds to 2 seconds, number of hits has been increased from 3 to 6, number of hits of final attack has been increased from 6 to 10, required level has been decreased from 170 to 150
Cataclysm: cooldown has been decreased from 120 seconds to 90 seconds
Night Walker
Shadow Bats: attacks per summon have been decreased from 4 to 3, chance to attack has been increased from 20% to 40%, damage has been increased from 160% to 200%, bounce targets have been increased from 1 to 3
Rapid Evasion: can now be used in the air
Lucky Seven: damage has been decreased from 220% to 190%
Element: Darkness: duration has been decreased from 300 seconds to 180 seconds
Haste: duration has been decreased from 300 seconds to 180 seconds
Triple Throw: 3rd star’s damage has been increased from 280% to 350%
Physical Training: LUK boost has been increased from 30 to 60, DEX boost has been removed
Throwing Mastery: in addition to existing effects, Throwing Mastery now increases your damage by 20%
Bat Communion: number of bounce targets has been increased from 1 to 2, damage boost has been increased from 50% to 150%
Throwing Booster: duration has been decreased from 300 seconds to 180 seconds
Quadruple Throw: damage has been increased from 240% to 300%, 4th star’s damage has been increased from 280% to 400%
Stardust: number of monsters hit has been increased from 4 to 6, damage has been increased from 430% to 590%, explosion damage has been increased from 480% to 690%
Darkness Ascension: max level has been decreased from 10 to 5, cooldown has been increased from 300 seconds to 600 seconds
Bat Communion II: extra chance to activate has been removed, damage boost has been increased from 50% to 250%
Shadow Servant: duration has been decreased from 300 seconds to 180 seconds
Spirit Throwing: duration has been decreased from 300 seconds to 180 seconds
Quintuple Throw: damage has been increased from 330% to 420%, 5th star’s damage has been increased from 420% to 540%
Darkness Omen: damage has been increased from 390% to 500%, number of monsters hit has been decreased from 9 to 6, cooldown has been decreased from 30 seconds to 20 seconds
Bat Communion III: extra chance to activate has been decreased from 10% to 5%, damage boost has been increased from 130% to 350%, number of bounce targets has been increased from 1 to 2
Shadow Stitch: bind duration has been decreased from 20 seconds to 10 seconds, cooldown has been increased from 100 seconds to 120 seconds
Darkness Omen – Extra Target: number of monsters hit has been increased from 6 to 9
Dominion: damage has been increased from 720% to 1000%, in addition to existing effects Dominion’s 30 second buff now gives 100% stance and critical chance and 20% damage

Stupid nexon. I don’t WANT to enter a queue. Just make a merged waiting room with a merged channel. Then I don’t have to deal with being matched up with nubs that are too weak to help out, and then have the NERVE to steal any loot that catches their eyes.

The reduction from 300 seconds to 180 is bullshit,it felt comfortable to just buff up and not give a shit. Now we need to re-do it every 3 seconds since the duration has basically been halved.

Our Shadow does 60% of our own damage, his shadow can do about 60% of his damage (40% of ours), and his shadow’s shadow can do half that (20%)
Even if it’s only for 10% of the time, we can STILL sustain JUST AS MANY AS YOU INDEFINITELY, and the MAIN shadow ALWAYS does 60% of our damage! You don’t stand a chance!
And since we’re practically the same class, except better, you might as well bandwagon us, without any remorse if you can convince yourself that you’re just getting a powerup rather than switching!

Are YOU stupid? Including hypers, NL can do 5 stars yes, but NW can do 6 (5 + 1 from hyper).
The Hyper isn’t even a throw…just an extra line of damage.
Let’s face it, NW makes NL completely obsolete. There’s literally no legitimate reason not to switch. Even mobility wise NW trumps NL with that vertical jump. Anyone who still tries to defend NL is most definitely in denial.

Yay buffs for Flame Wizard. The 60% on Fire Repulsion was ridiculous, I kept dying everywhere! Still, not much of a dmg boost. Welp, have to check them out in the real server … hopefully they’ll get some more buffs.

I’ll never leave my Nl but I think its just so unfair… We get a 150 hyper that gives us 1 extra stack on venom and 30att, yet they give Nws 3 shadow partners…… I wouldve thought that since nls were the first class to have shadow partner nexon would’ve atleast tried to restore some originality and give us a 150 hyper like that……sigh I have lost all hope in nexon

While the damage increases to Night Walker are appreciated, they still haven’t really fixed Night Walkers problem with mobbing skills. The only one they seem to receive without a cool down StarDust, however the skill might of had a cool down to begin with, and they might of not touched the skills cool down. If that is the case then my earlier point applies. I honestly think they need to add more mobbing skills without cool down to each job level, ESPECIALLY second job because as it stands second job looks to be a pain to level through given LACK of mobbing skills from either first or second job.It seems to me that Night walker is getting their, but it still in need of work. Also I was wondering if Night Walkers star moves hit multiple targets or only one? Because it seemed from the thespian play through videos that their star moves hit through multiple enemies.O n the other hand I think that the mushroom kingdom changes are good, but I wonder how you would get through level 30 except Elina magic academy seeing as . Mushroom kingdom is now level 60? Lastly will the Hills not be in Aswan or somewhere else?

Am i the only one who sees absolutely no reason for the extra 100%dmg nw’s got just on there main attack let along all the other buffs, and bws gets half there stuff nerfed(and i didn’t think bw’s were to bad from the first showing of there skills they seemed decent not to op but not to weak). At first i was like oh alright nws are only a bit op and now after reading all this its just like wow…, why theirs no reason for a class to be this over powered compared to any other class. I’m not mad or anything i don’t even play a nl(haven’t since pre bb) anymore, i play a db i just think this is a little over the top even for a newly revamped class. I also don’t plan on playing nw either, maybe the bw but i really just dislike the nw skills, like there ok since you know the hole darkness thing going on but to me it just looks like alot of purple and black poop doesn’t make me want to play. The only skill i thought was really good was the hyper with the moon background(witch i think is pretty op even for a hyper 100%crt and stance and i think they can’t get hit or something also, idk not checking it again just going on what i’m pretty sure it said).

Saw some minor changes to Kaiser and bowmaster and demon avenger from this patch and a previous small one on southperry and was wondering whether you had missed them out, hope you don’t mind me asking
