MapleStory Probability-Type Item Rates
In a previous post, I mentioned that a new law in Korea required gaming companies to disclose the rates of probability-type items. Well, Nexon posted theirs for MapleStory a couple of days ago!
Unfortunately, there are no rates for Miracle Cubes, I guess they don’t count? That being said, the information isn’t actually that interesting (because it doesn’t include potential), but I have translated it for those of you who want it.

These are the items which have had their rates given. The first set are the decorative probability items, including the Royal Style coupon and the Masterpiece items. I don’t believe other versions have this so I’ll be skipping them. Basically you buy them and they’ll give a random NX outfit piece (exclusive to the item) which give stats for a certain period of time.
The second set are regular probability items, which are probably the most useful ones. The third set are for beauty items.
Regular Probability Items
The Pandora’s Box and Epi’s Box are permanent additions to the Cash Shop in kMS. They are the same as previous ‘box’ items like the Philosopher’s Books, Peanut Machines, etc. The Pandora’s Box costs 1,000 Cash and the Epi’s Box costs 300 Cash. The items they give are updated every couple of patches, and Nexon has said that the rates on the website will be updated as well.
Monster Incubators are used in Monster Life, to get monsters to add to your farm.

Do they not have Marvel Machine or Gacha in KMS?
Marvel is GMS exclusive (big shock), and Gachapon exists as the monster incubator.
