KMST ver. 1.2.085 – MapleStory’s 16-bit Anniversary
A new test server patch has been released, with this year’s MapleStory anniversary event. Since it’s the 16th year, it’s a retro 16-bit theme! In the newly born Newtro Kingdom, born from the beautiful memories of Maple World, Bowser the Devil Pixrog has kidnapped Princess Peach Aurora! Become an honorary warrior, unseal the 4 legendary pieces of equipment, rescue the Princess and save the kingdom!
There’s only event-related content (except for some bug fixes) so I won’t cover this until next week when it comes to the official servers.

ohhh 16 bit anniversary
I get it. I thought they were just knocking off retro world!
16 years, 16 bit? Good observation.
It makes me wonder how it’ll be adapted for other regions, though- if they’ll bother changing it at all. “15 bit” wouldn’t make much sense for GMS’s next year anniversary.
They probably won’t besides making a silly pun like 16 being stricken out and being rewritten with 15, or 15 years, 16 bit as a slogan, something simple, most people didn’t question how grand the 9th anniversary was on GMS. I think there’s a general understanding of how content is localized, and for something like this, the effort that seems to have been put in will probably be enough.

When going over the KMSt patch notes with Google Translate, I swear part of it said they fixed where enemies hit relative to the player in a chair. AKA they fixed tail chairs. Can you confirm this was listed, and possibly if it is as expected?
