The First Golden Hands Awards & Free Cube Rates Revealed
This post is gonna combine two things, both of which were brought up in the customer conference. There’s the First Golden Hands Awards, a contest where players can design their own items and cosmetics for a chance to have them implemented in-game, and the rates for free cubes such as Strange, Craftsman, and Meister Cubes.
The First Golden Hands Awards
Have you ever wanted to see items you made with your own hands in MapleStory? Well this is your chance! With the Golden Hands Awards, you can design outfits, pets, and faces/hairs with the chance to win and have put into the game!
You can submit your designs from July 8 to July 21. After that, there will be user voting to decide the 50 finalists from August 3 to August 10. From the finalists, Nexon’s team of judges will decide the final winners from August 10 to August 30. You can see the list of judges on the official site, they include members of MapleStory’s art team as well as a famous designer, a pixel artist, and a member of BTS, Jin!
Winners will be announced on September 1, and their items will be implemented and put on sale in September (for hairs and faces) and October (for outfits and pets).
A total of 6 winners for the Golden Hands Awards will be chosen for each category, and there will also be 10 Silver Hands Awards winners for each category. Both sets of players will win special prizes!

Is this event only available for KMS players?
Yes this is for KMS players only.
Isn’t this event the same thing TMS has been doing for years now? it might provide better rewards but its not new.
I was about to burst into laughter from those rates but then remembered GSM has different rates. Have they ever been revealed?
I think other versions have had player designed item contests a lot in the past but from my years of playing KMS, I don’t think we’ve ever had an event like this.
