The First Golden Hands Awards event has ended and the winners have been chosen! If you’re unfamiliar, this is a new contest where users could submit their own custom designed items for a chance to have them implemented in-game. Submissions began in July and player voting took place at the beginning of August. The top 50 hairs/faces/pets and top 100 outfits from those were then given to the judges who chose the final winners.

A total of 6 winners for the Golden Hands Awards were chosen for each category, and there are also 10 Silver Hands Awards winners for each category. Both sets of players will win special prizes! The Golden Hands winners are the ones that will have their items created in-game.

The items will be sold in three periods:

• 1st: Hair/Faces – September 9 ~ October 6
• 2nd: 6 Outfit Sets/Pets – October 14 ~ November 10
• 3rd: 6 Outfit Sets – November 11 ~ December 8

They also had a video with some of the judges (Jin must have been too busy with BTS to make it) explaining their decisions and why they chose some of the winners. If you look at the Likes/Dislikes, it’s pretty heavily disliked lol. I think it’s because for the hairs and faces in particular, it seems like they just chose the ugly/joke-y ones instead of ones that actually looked good.
