KMS ver. 1.2.413 – MapleStory’s 23rd Anniversary: Maple Attack!
MapleStory’s 23rd anniversary: Maple Attack has begun! This patch contains a ton of gameplay improvements to leveling up, boss patterns, skill rings, enhancing, and boss rewards, as well as the new Training Grounds system to test out your damage rotation and help the MapleStory team in future balancing.
The main event is themed around Maple Island, the real-life MapleStory theme park opening in Seoul in April. There’s also the new Change Burning: Lucid event where you can transform into and play as Lucid, and the Jin’s Mysterious Garden event where you can get crazy growth rewards from BTS Jin!

Growth Path Reorganization
In the level 210~259 section, the amount of experience required to level up has been decreased.
- Level 210~214 Section: ~8% decrease.
- Level 215~219 Section: ~15% decrease.
- Level 220~224 Section: ~21% decrease.
- Level 225~229 Section: ~27% decrease.
- Level 230~234 Section: ~33% decrease.
- Level 235~239 Section: ~38% decrease.

The number of Arcane Symbols acquired from daily quest rewards has been increased from 20 to 40.
The number of Arcane Symbols acquired from weekly content rewards has been increased from 40 to 80.
The number of Authentic Symbols acquired from daily quest rewards has been increased from 10 to 15 (20 to 30 for Cernium).
Enhancement Reorganization
The Star Force Enhancement and Trace Transfer systems have been reorganized.
- The Star Catch system has been removed. The increased success rate when the Star Catch was completed will now be applied by default.
- Star Catch related achievements have been moved to the Memory tab and can no longer be completed.
- When Star Force enhancing an item and it is destroyed, the Trace item’s Star Force value will be set to the number of stars it was at before it was boomed. However, when enhancing items at 23 stars or higher, if they are destroyed the Trace will be set at 22 stars.
※ For Superior equipment items, this change will not be applied and they will be maintained at 0 stars.
※ For Trace items acquired before the March 19, 2026 maintenance, this change will not be applied.
- When using the Trace Transfer feature, you can now pay a certain amount of mesos and number of equipment items based on the Trace item’s required level and Star Force value to fully restore the Trace at that number of stars.
- You can still choose to restore the Trace to 12 stars by just paying one of the same equipment item (like before).

The Bonus Stats related systems have been reorganized.
- The ‘Bonus Stats Reset System’ has been added that lets you reset bonus stats using mesos.
- You can use it through the unified enhancement UI’s ‘Bonus Stats Reset System’.
- When using the ‘Bonus Stats Reset System’, you can choose between the Before or After roll.
- The ‘Bonus Stats Reset System’s stat appearance rates are applied the same as Black Rebirth Flames.
- The bonus stats reset cost is 3m mesos.
- A new Rebirth Flame, the ‘Blazing Rebirth Flame’ has been added.
- The stat appearance rates are applied the same as Powerful Rebirth Flames, but you can choose between the Before or After roll.
- Boss monsters, Elite Monsters, and Elite Champions will no longer drop the following items.

New Potential and Additional Potential related items have been added.
- The new ‘Gold Cube’, ‘Silver Cube’, and ‘Bronze Additional Cube’ items have been added.
- Gold Cube: The stat appearance and tier up rates are the same as Meister Cubes, but you can choose between the Before or After roll.
- Silver Cube: The stat appearance and tier up rates are the same as Craftsman Cubes, but you can choose between the Before or After roll.
- Bronze Additional Cube: The stat appearance and tier up rates are the same as Strange Additional Cubes, but you can choose between the Before or After roll.
※ ‘Gold Cubes’, ‘Silver Cubes’, and ‘Bronze Additional Cubes’ do not apply the tier up pity system.
- The new enhancement item prefix ‘Memento’ has been added.
- If you use a ‘Memento’-prefixed enhancement item on an equipment item, that equipment will become ‘Memento Engraved’ and untradeable for 30 days, regardless of its tradeability.
- You cannot use Platinum Karma Scissors, Karma Scissors, Silver Karma Scissors, or the Share Name Tag on equipment items that are ‘Memento Engraved’.
- You cannot use the Equipment Transfer system on equipment items that are ‘Memento Engraved’.
- If you use a ‘Memento’-prefixed enhancement item on an equipment item that is already ‘Memento Engraved’, the untradeable period will be reset to 30 days from when the enhancement item was used on it.
- When you defeat certain boss monsters, they will now be guaranteed to drop the following cube rewards.

The Auto Enchant system has been added.
- You can use the Auto Enchant system through the unified enhancement UI’s Star Force, Bonus Stats, Potential, and Additional Potential tabs.
- You can press the Auto Enchant button at the bottom right of the unified enhancement UI to set your target stages.
- After setting your target stages, you can click the Auto Enchant button to proceed with automatic enchanting.
- The Auto Enchant will stop when it meets your target, consumes all enhancement material, or the equipment is destroyed.
- For Auto Enchant of potential and additional potential, it will stop when the sum of the reset potential values is higher than the sum of the target potential values.
- For Auto Enchant of bonus stats, it will stop when the reset bonus stats satisfy all of the target bonus stat values.
- You can use the ‘Stop Reset on Combat Power Increase’ option to stop the Auto Enchant if the reset bonus stats, potential, or additional potential results in a Combat Power increase, regardless of your target values.
※ You can stop the Auto Enchant by pressing Space Bar, ESC, Enter, or by clicking the Cancel Enchant button.
※ Potential and Additional Potential Auto Enchant can only be used on Legendary tier items.
※ All Stats % from potential stats is calculated by being added to STR %, DEX %, INT %, and LUK %.
※ For Bonus Stats, you can set the maximum target up to rank 6. However, for STR/DEX/INT/LUK stats, you can set the maximum target as the sum of four combinations of rank 6 stats that include each of them.
※ The Auto Enchant feature cannot be used when Star Forcing with Miraculous Equipment enhancement Scrolls, Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scrolls, or Equipment Enhancement Scrolls.
※ The Auto Enchant feature cannot be used in the Guild Castle’s Enhancement Altar map.
※ The ‘Stop Reset on Combat Power Increase’ option can only be used on items that you can equip.

Daily Gift
The Daily Gift completion rewards will be changed as follows starting from April 2026.

Special Skill Ring Reorganization
The Additional Special Skill Ring slot has been added.
- When you have a level 4 or higher Restraint Ring or Continuous Ring equipped, a slot where you can equip an additional Special Skill Ring will be unlocked.
- You can only equip 1 Active Special Skill Ring and 1 Passive Skill Ring.

Special Skill Ring’s skill effects have been changed as follows.
- Restraint Ring
- The area range has been increased by about 95%.
- You can now use the skill again to reinstall the area.
- The skill effect has been changed.
- The attack/magic attack boost has been decreased from 95% to 85% (at level 6).
- Continuous Ring
- The boss damage, attack, and magic attack boost effect will now activate when you use a skill.
- The duration has been increased from 8 seconds to 30 seconds.
- The reactivation cooldown has been removed.
- The boss damage boost has been decreased from 195% to 54% (at level 6).
- Crit Damage Ring
- The master level has been decreased from 6 to 4.
- The critical damage boost has been decreased from 24% to 20% (at level 4).
- Ring of Sum
- The master level has been decreased from 6 to 4.
- The main stat boost has been decreased from 1.6% of all of your stats combined to 1.2% (at level 4).
- Risktaker Ring
- The master level has been decreased from 6 to 4.
- The attack/magic attack boost has been decreased from 40% to 30% (at level 4).
- Weapon Puff – S/D/I/L Ring
- The master level has been decreased from 6 to 4.
- The STR/DEX/INT/LUK boost has been decreased from 320% of your equipped weapon’s attack to 260% (at level 4).
You can no longer use the Ring Polishing or Ring Polishing Level Exchange systems with the Crit Damage Rings, Ring of Sum, Risktaker Ring, or Weapon Puff – S/D/I/L Rings. If you already have level 5 or higher of any of these rings, you will be provided enhancement materials and mesos based on the Special Skill Ring’s levels.

Sol Hecate

- In Epic Dungeon: Nightmare Paradise Stage 4, the summon will now be maintained after cancelling the Flying Nimbus.
- Fixed an issue where the teleport effect looked awkward to other characters.
- Fixed an issue where if the skill was set to react to Rift Break, sometimes Sol Hecate: Styx’s cooldown would not be applied properly.

- Fixed an issue where if Arcana Overdrive’s duration ended, certain buff skills would not be affected by network status and their durations would end.

Participation
You can open the Mascot Parade event UI through the Event List and click the [Participate] button once per day to accumulate the following rewards.

Special Mission
You can acquire a ‘Special Gift’ if you collect 60 ‘Mascot Power’ and complete the ‘Parade Mission’.
You can acquire 1 ‘Mascot Power’ for every day you complete the daily participation.
You can complete the ‘Parade Mission’ by defeating 100,000 monsters within your level range. Every week, the limit of the number of monsters within your level range that you can defeat for the mission will be increased by 10,000. It will be increased up to 100,000 over the event period.
You can check this week’s limit by hovering your mouse over the ‘Parade Mission’ section of the event UI.
※ The mission will only progress if you defeat monsters within your level range while in a party of 1 or not in a party.
Special Gift

Lucid Transformation Conditions:
- There are no conditions in towns, you can transform at all times.
- You can transform into Lucid in Arcane River/Grandis maps with monsters within your level range. If you reach 0 defeatable Dream Eaters, the transformation will be cancelled and you can no longer transform.
※ Dream Eaters are special monsters for Change Lucid that appear in the Nightmare Control event.
※ However, if the Nightmare Control event’s Nightmare Erosion is taking place, the transformation will not be cancelled even if you reach 0 defeatable Dream Eaters.

- When transforming into Lucid, a UI will appear that lets you check the level and experience of the character designated as Change Burning.

The Lucid exclusive skills use a separate damage calculation method different from regular skills.
- In the Dreamy Trials and Nightmare Forest, the damage is dealt based on the exclusive stats.
- In other situations, the damage is dealt based on the character’s Combat Power value immediately before transforming.
- When transforming into Lucid, certain stats are adjusted to fixed values.

Change Burning Management
The character designated as Change Burning can click the ‘Change Burning Management’ event in the Event List to open the Lucid inventory, Lucid skill window, and Lucid hotkey settings UIs.
※ If the character designated as Change Burning is deleted, you can participate in the Change Burning event on another character in the same Maple ID. However, Lucid’s level will start from level 1 and you cannot acquire any rewards again that you have already claimed on the Maple ID.
Lucid Growth
- Lucid can grow up to level 100.
- Lucid can gain experience by defeating the Lucid exclusive field monsters or by completing weekly/season missions.
※ Even if Lucid reaches level 100, you can still acquire character experience through the weekly/season missions.
Nightmare Control
Wipe out the swarming monsters trying to interrupt Lucid’s happy time, and both Lucid and your character will acquire lots of experience!
Nightmare Control
When you use the Change: Lucid skill in Arcane River/Grandis area maps with monsters within your level range, the Lucid exclusive field monsters Dream Eaters will appear.
The number of Dream Eaters that can be defeated as Lucid will not reset, and every Thursday at 12:00 AM, 25,000 monsters will be added to the limit.
※ You can check the number of defeatable Dream Eaters by clicking on ‘Lucid Dream’ in the CHANGE STATS or Event List.
※ If the number of defeatable Dream Eaters reaches 0 and Nightmare Erosion is not currently in progress, you cannot transform into Lucid in hunting grounds.
Nightmare Erosion
Every time you defeat 1,250 Dream Eaters, Nightmare Erosion will begin and the Source of Nightmares will appear.
When you defeat the Source of Nightmares, 5 waves of 40 Nightmare Minions will appear.
When you defeat all of the Nightmare Minions, Nightmare Erosion will end.
※ Dream Eaters will not appear while Nightmare Erosion is in progress.
※ If you go to a different map or cancel the Lucid transformation while Nightmare Erosion is in progress, it will be interrupted. You can resume Nightmare Erosion later if you transform into Lucid again in a hunting ground.
Lucid will acquire experience whenever she defeats Dream Eaters, Source of Nightmares, or Nightmare Minions. The character designated as Change Burning will acquire experience based on their character level.
※ Lucid does not acquire experience from defeating normal field monsters.
※ No additional experience effects will be applied to the Dream Eaters, Source of Nightmares, or Nightmare Minions.
※ Even if Lucid reaches level 100, you can still acquire character experience from Nightmare Control.
Lucid Dream
Complete various missions as Lucid to grow both your character and Lucid, and acquire abundant rewards!
Event Participation Requirements:
- A character participating in the Change Burning: Lucid event.

You can click ‘Lucid Dream’ in the Event List to check Lucid’s growth status and stats in the My Lucid tab.
You can click the Level Bonus button to check the additional stats you will acquire based on Lucid’s level.
※ Lucid can reach up to level 100.
Dream Pass
You can use the Dream Pass to purchase Dream EXP equal to the Lucid EXP from weekly missions that were not completed as of the previous week. You can acquire 10,000 Dream EXP per 500 Maple Points, and you can only buy Dream EXP in units of 10,000.
The Dream EXP purchaseable with the Dream Pass is limited to the Lucid EXP from the weekly missions not completed up until the previous week, as of Thursday at 12:00 AM each week.
When you use the Dream Pass, you can acquire both the purchased Dream EXP and character experience based on your current level.
※ You can use the Dream Pass even if you have reached Lucid level 100, but you will only acquire character experience equal to the purchased Dream EXP.
Lucid Dream Missions
You can click the ‘Check Missions’ button in the Lucid Dream UI to check the weekly/season missions you can complete as Lucid.
Every time you complete a mission, you will be provided experience for Lucid and the character designated as Change Burning.
- Weekly Missions
- These missions will reset every Thursday at 12:00 AM. You can acquire up to 2.1m Lucid experience per week.
- The character designated as Change Burning will acquire experience based on their character level when you complete missions.

Nightmare Forest
Event Participation Requirements:
- A character participating in the Change Burning: Lucid event.
You can click ‘Nightmare Forest’ in the Event List to move to the ‘Nightmare Forest: Forest Entrance’ map. When you enter ‘Nightmare Forest’ you will be transformed into Lucid, and you cannot cancel the transformation while inside.
You can talk to the ‘Nightmare Light Cluster’ NPC or use the portal in the center of the map to open the Nightmare Forest UI. You can click the ‘Enter’ button to explore inside the forest.
You need 1 or more ‘Nightmare Dreamcatchers’ to explore the Nightmare Forest.
Nightmare Dream Catchers
‘Nightmare Dreamcatchers’ are a resource required to explore the Nightmare Forest. You can check how many you have through the Nightmare Forest UI.
You will be provided 5 ‘Nightmare Dreamcatchers’ per day, and they will be given out even on days you don’t login.
You can hold up to 30 ‘Nightmare Dreamcatchers’. If the quantity would exceed this amount, you will not be provided any more. Any undistributed ‘Nightmare Dreamcatchers’ can be purchased laster for 30m mesos each.
Nightmare Forest Exploration
When you enter Nightmare Forest, you will automatically enter the stage that matches Lucid’s level.

Nightmare Forest consists of a total of 2 stages.
In ‘Nightmare Forest: Deep Forest’, you must defeat the ‘Forest Predators’ and ‘Forest Minion’ monsters that appear. This will create a portal on the right side of the map, which you can touch with your character to move to the next stage.
※ You cannot enter the next stage until you defeat all of the monsters.

In ‘Nightmare Forest: Deepest Part of the Forest’, you must defeat the ‘Source of the Forest’ monster to clear. 1 ‘Nightmare Dreamcatcher’ will be deducted at this time.
When you clear all of the stages, a portal will appear on the right side of the ‘Nightmare Forest: Deepest Part of the Forest’ map. If your character touches the portal, you can retry exploring the Nightmare Forest.
※ However, if you do not have any ‘Nightmare Dreamcatchers’, you will be returned to the ‘Forest Entrance’.
When you clear all of the stages, you can return to the ‘Forest Entrance’ by clicking the ‘Exit’ button on the left side of the screen or by talking to the ‘Nightmare Light Cluster’ NPC.
Source of the Forest and Event Rewards
The ‘Source of the Forest’ is a boss monster that appears in ‘Nightmare Forest: Deepest Part of the Forest’.
It has a total of 5 tier. When you attack the ‘Source of the Forest’, it will evolve into the next tier based on the current Nightmare Forest stage and a set probability.

Dreamy Equipment UI
You can select ‘Change Burning Management’ in the Event List then press the [Inventory] button or transform into Lucid and use the ‘Lucid Inventory’ skill to open the Lucid exclusive equipment UI.
You can manage and equip your ‘Dreamy Equipment’ and ‘Dreamy Crystals’ with the menu consisting of Equipment Enhancement, Equipment Crafting, Equipment Disassembly, Dreamy Crystal Socketing, and Dreamy Crystal Fusion.

Dreamy Equipment Enhancement
Dreamy equipment can be enhanced up to +12. You can succeed or fail based on set rates.
When you enhance equipment, you will use ‘Dreamy Equipment Fragments’ as material.
- You can acquire Dreamy equipment, Dreamy Crystals, and Dreamy Equipment Fragments from clearing ‘Change Burning: Nightmare Forest’.
- You can acquire Dreamy Equipment Fragments by disassembling Dreamy equipment.
※ Normal tier equipment cannot be enhanced.
Dreamy Equipment Crafting
You can use Dreamy Equipment Fragments to craft a specific equipment type and tier of your choice.
- The higher the crafted equipment’s tier, the more Dreamy Equipment Fragments will be consumed.
- You can consume an additional amount of Dreamy Equipment Fragments to increase the crafting success rate.
- You can acquire Dreamy equipment, Dreamy Crystals, and Dreamy Equipment Fragments from clearing ‘Change Burning: Nightmare Forest’.
- You can acquire Dreamy Equipment Fragments by disassembling Dreamy equipment.
Equipment Disassembly
You can acquire Dreamy Equipment Fragments by disassembling Dreamy equipment.
- You can use Dreamy Equipment Fragments to enhance and craft equipment.
- The number of Dreamy Equipment Fragments acquired will be based on the equipment’s enhancement stage and tier.
- If you disassemble equipment with Dreamy Crystals equipped, the Dreamy Crystals will automatically be returned to you.

Dreamy Crystal Socketing
You can socket any tier of crystal on any tier of Dreamy Equipment.
- You can socket duplicate crystals of the same tier.
Dreamy Crystal Fusion
You can combine 3 Dreamy Crystals of the same tier to craft a higher tier Dreamy Crystal.
- The success rate is based on the tier of Dreamy Crystals being combined.
- You can succeed or fail based on a set probability.
- When combining Legendary tier crytals, the tier will remain the same and only the stats will change.
- For Unique and Legendary tier crystals,the same stats can appear.
Dreamy Trials
Event Participation Requirements:
- A character participating in the Change Burning: Lucid event.
Dreamy Trials
You can select ‘Dreamy Trials’ in the Event List to check the missions.
The Dreamy Trials consist of a total of 5 missions, and you can complete them by defeating specific bosses as the Change Burning: Lucid character.
When you complete a mission, you can receive the rewards corresponding to that mission in the Dreamy Trials UI.

Roll the dice with Jin to collect Growth Fertilizer and acquire a special potion unlike anything else in the world!
Event Participation Requirements
- A level 101 or higher character (or a Zero character that has completed Chapter 2).
Event Period
- March 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM ~ May 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
You can select the ‘Jin’s Mysterious Garden’ event in the Event List and click the ‘Participate’ button to start the event.
Event Progress
You can acquire dice by clicking the [Receive Dice] button in the UI. You can use the dice you acquire to move around a board consisting of a total of 40 spaces and collect ‘Growth Fertilizer’.
You can purchase various items at the ‘Growth Fertilizer Shop’ with the ‘Growth Fertilizer’ you acquire.
You can acquire various rewards based on the cumulative number of dice you roll.
Acquiring Dice
You can receive 3 dice per day by opening the Jin’s Mysterious Garden UI through the Event List and clicking the [Receive Dice] button.
You can receive dice up to 5 times per week, and up to 40 times over the event period.
※ From March 2 at 10:00 AM until March 25 at 11:59 PM, you can only receive dice 1 time. You will be provided 15 dice all at once.
You can click the [Use Pass] button to use 3,000 Maple Points and complete 1 ‘Receive Dice’ that you did not previously complete.
※ The Dice Pass can be used up to the number of claims you did not claim as of the previous week, based on the count on Thursday at 12:00 AM.
※ However, the number of Dice Passes available for the last week is limited to the number of incomplete days based on the count at 12:00 AM of the day before.
The number of dice held is shared between all characters within the Maple ID.
Rolling the Dice
You can roll the dice by pressing the [Roll] button. You will roll 3 dice at once.
After checking the dice results, you can click the [Select] button for the die you wish to move with. An arrow will indicate which space you will arrive at. If you want to use that die, you can move by pressing the [Move] button. It will move you to the indicated space.
When you arrive at a space , you will acquire an item corresponding to the space or activate the effect written on it.
After using all 3 rolled dice to move, you can roll the dice again.
Items Acquired from Spaces
- Growth Fertilizer
- When you land on a space where the Growth Fertilizer item is placed, you will acquire Growth Fertilizer equal to the number written on the space.
- You can use the acquired Growth Fertilizer to purchase various items at the Growth Fertilizer Shop.
- If you land on or pass by the START point, you will acquire an additional 400 Growth Fertilizer as a pass bonus.
- You cannot acquire the pass bonus if you move backwards to land on or pass by the START point.
- Special Dice
- When you land on a space marked with a Special Dice symbol on the board, you will acquire a Special Die.
- After rolling normal dice, you can roll a Special Die for each result of the normal dice.
- The Special Dice effect is reflected in the selected dice number or amount of Fertilizer acquired on the space you land on.

- When you land on a movement space, you will be moved forward or backward by the number of spaces indicated on the space.
- The movement space effect will only activate 1 time per lap.
- If you land on a movement space that has already been used that lap, you will acquire 100 Growth Fertilizers instead.

- If you land on a space with a monster, it will activate its effect then disappear.
- If a Gold Bee or Poison-Spraying Homunculus monster disappears, it will reappear when you land on or pass the START space.
