kMS ver. 1.2.196 – MapleStory RED: 1st Impact!
The exciting first patch of the RED update: 1st Impact has been released!! It includes the long, long, long-awaited Adventurer reorganization along with their own story lines, character creation and a few other changes! The Free Advancement system has also been added!
In addition, there has been a large overhaul of the profession system and some new UI. Read on for more information!
MapleStory RED Update Showcase!
In just a few minutes, the MapleStory RED Update Showcase will begin! This conference might reveal some new things about the RED update that we have not been told yet… maybe things like 5th job?

kMS ver. 1.2.195 – Prelude to RED!
A bit of a lull but some interesting dates have been released! First of all, on June 26, the conference that will release more information about the RED update will occur! I’m excited to see if anything we haven’t already seen will be shown (5th job…?).
The second date is not exactly concrete, but based on the events that were added, the first RED update will take place on July 4! This will probably be the ‘Revolution’ part, including the Adventurer reorganization.
Inkwell’s Secret Diary – Captain! Battleship Raid!
Bounce! Bounce! Bombs bounce!
Looks like the first new Captain (Corsair in GMS) skill has been released! The image was called Cruiser Artillery, so maybe that’s the skill name. It looks sort of fun to use haha, the bombs bounce! Also, the return of the Battleship that was removed in the Justice update, although I think it’s just part of the skill effects now (like Viper’s energy-man-guy).
Maybe we’ll be receiving the thief and pirate updates together in Tespia this week~ Oh yeah, did you guys watch E3? If you don’t wanna spoil yourself don’t read past the cut, haha.
kMS ver. 1.2.195 – Job Balancing & Riena Strait!
A small aside from the exciting Adventurer revamps brings some job balancing for Battlemages, Xenon, Aran, Evan, Mercedes, Luminous, and Kaiser, along with the new theme dungeon Riena Strait! There is also a new boss mode and some other changes that might interest you.
Oh yeah, a really old event that I think a lot of people liked has returned… see the end of the post for more information!
