kMS ver. 1.2.194 – Wild Hunter Reorganization, Job Balancing, Fairy Academy and Crimsonwood PQ! [updated]
The previous Tespia patch has come to the real server, but there is one large difference. Battlemage was not changed, their skills are the same as before. I wonder if this is because people were not happy with it? I don’t know about you guys but I think the new animations fit the Resistance a lot better than the dark ones (albeit this is a really late change).
Anyways, Wild Hunter received some changes and new skills while 9 other jobs were balanced. They released a new theme dungeon as well as a party quest, so read on! Adventurer creation has been blocked! What does this mean? Will RED be coming sooner than expected?
MapleStory RED!
At MapleStory 1st Festival, they have released information about this year’s summer update, MapleStory RED! Some of it is really exciting! I’m looking most forward to the Black Mage storyline additions, and obviously a certain reorganization~
Another conference will be held in June, giving further information.
MapleStory’s Story – Character Relationships & Grandis!
Time for a little different kind of post. Instead of talking about new patches, events, content, and stuff like that, this is a post entirely on MapleStory’s story! I don’t know about you guys, but I love the story lines in this game. I still remember doing all of the Magatia quests the day it came out, haha.
Here’s something I translated a while ago, posted by Polaris on Insoya.com (I think the thread got deleted or something…). It shows the relationships between various characters in MapleStory (no minor ones though like Chief Stan and Alex or Dr. Betty and Anne). Some are pretty interesting to see actually~
Edit: Many people seem to assuming this image is some sort of troll because it’s from Insoya. You’re wrong. Oh my gosh, one forum posted an image from Insoya’s fanart section saying it was real, everything from Insoya must be wrong!!! No, this was from the Maple Talk section, where people… talk about MapleStory. Also, threads on Insoya get deleted after a certain period of time (it’s dumb, I don’t know why they do that).

kMS ver. 1.2.171 – Beginning of Evolution, Hyper Skills!
The sixth (and last?) part of the Tempest update has been released, giving us a new system, Hyper Skills! However, at the moment, only Hero and Nova classes have received them. Everyone else will have to wait until Nexon decides they want to release those…
This patch also includes the return of the Hero classes and Mystic bosses as an expansion to Cross Hunter~
