kMSt ver. 1.2.494 – Sixth Hero, EunWol!
The sixth (and most likely, unless there’s another forgotten one, final) hero, EunWol has been released! His skills were already in the data for a previous patch but this one allowed Tespia users to finally create one.
Also, for those of you that were interested, I finally added in the events in my last post.
EunWol is a pirate hero that uses Knuckles as his primary weapon and Fox Beads as his secondary, his main stat is STR. You can choose your gender when creating EunWol.
EunWol’s character card effects are 1%/2%/3%/5% minimum and maximum critical damage.
EunWol uses the power of the spirits to unleash fast and strong attacks. He also has two Cancel Skills, Moment Step and Back Step, both of which can be used during any skill chain. They instantly cancel the skill and allow movement.

Here’s EunWol’s tutorial, thanks to Spadow. Basically, EunWol sacrifices himself in order to activate the Sealing Stones for the Black Mage. At first he thinks its his life that he’s giving up but it’s actually something even worse…
EunWol awakens in Grandis, more specifically the Pointy Ear Fox Village. Here he meets the townsfolk, including Lang, and is blessed with the power of the Fox God. Only EunWol can enter the Pointy Ear Fox Village.
EunWol’s story is that of the forgotten hero. It’s sooo sad I can’t even believe Nexon would do something like this.
*Spoilers incoming*
EunWol thought he was sacrificing his life in order to activate the Sealing Stones to seal away the Black Mage, but in reality, he sacrificed his existence. Every time he goes through the dimensions, everyone forgets about him. He is and always will be the Forgotten Hero. He doesn’t even get a happy ending! It’s literally him realizing his fate…
Skills
Note: Some of the skills might sound weird because they make cultural Korean references and those are super hard to translate. Some skill names may or may not be partly ‘made-up’ by me haha. Also, there were some changes to EunWol’s skills, all nerfs. I’m too lazy to highlight them haha.

I think I found something related to The SEED update. In the data, there’s a bunch of new maps for an area called the Seabed Tower. ^ It might be the dungeons with ‘new concepts’ that they talked about.
There’s 50 floors (some are missing though) and each one is like a different area in Maple, some of them are just a bunch of platformss with monsters but some are jump quests and it looks like some are like those special platform combination things in party quests.
Also there’s a couple of floors that don’t look like anywhere else I’ve seen :O
There were a few new pictures released on the MapleStory 2 homepage, look it’s Bella again! I wonder what’s in the present haha.

It’s so sad that in future the developer will forget to fix any bugs or update on this character anymore, so sad…very sad….hm…what is this character name again? Sad… 😦
What character are you talking about?
It’s so sad that in future the developer will forget to fix any bugs or update on this character anymore, so sad…very sad….hm…what is this character name again? Sad… 😦
“Every time he goes through the dimensions, everyone forgets about him. He is and always will be the Forgotten Hero.”
The loner life
He sounds just like all of us, the legit players that got forgotten among the hackers and nx whores….
this…. is….soooo Nexon.
useless class
this ^
Story has me officially interested.
Disappointing class
slow as shit
and this ^
Nexon’s hate on Pirates never stops….. Lol
much sad wow
I’m kinda confused about the story. Did he have any significant powers before he was blessed by the Fox God? Also, do the townspeople in the Pointy Ear Fox Village forget about him too when he crosses from Maple World to Grandis? Lastly, do they ever explain why he is still living to begin with?
I’m not sure but in the tut before he sacrifices himself he uses an Adventurer viper skill lol.
Yeah everyone forgets.
Instead of requiring a ‘life’, the sealing stones required an ‘existence’, Freud and Luminous and EunWol just didn’t know that.
Wait… Why is Lumi’s shining rod different from tutorial ‘n’ glowing purple, and, even more importantly, why are his eyes mismatched even before confronting The Black Mage?
I know right
haha good point
Hooray…a class that only was made to appease a whining fanbase. Just think how much progress we could have gotten if Nexon hadn’t made this silly thing.
hmm soo basically he was just a normal pirate chara before being blessed by the fox god and able to use spirits, soo what made him hero quality to begin with?
Anyone could be a hero. You just need to be either crazy or brave enough to fight against those oppressing you. Hell, the five heroes could have chose to not be heroes and stayed put where they were, not choosing to fight back, etc.
An example, if I remember correctly, Aran asked for a powerful pole arm to be forged in order to fight the Blackmage. Someone else could have asked for the same request and their name doesn’t have to be Aran. Hell, even Aran could have chosen NOT to have a pole arm forged and NOT to go fight at all.
I think it’s more of a choice than fate, or anything else to be a hero. No one asked Aran, Freud, Mercedes, Phantom, Luminous, and Eunwol to go fight the Blackmage did they? They chose to be heroes themselves, knowing full well that death was going to be a possibility in doing such actions.
There’s also the fact he went fighting with nothing more than his sweat, blood, and bare hands (I don’t think knucklers really count as a weapon tbh…).
true but you have to admit all the heros other than eunwol at that point were the strongest and most special of their classes. Mer being a queen and strongest of her clan, Aran with her magic pole, Phantom being the only one able to steal skills, lumi being the strongest light mage at that time, and freud having his dragon, eunwol of that time seems pretty normal compared to them. Am just saying the only reason he was useful was for the sealing process lol
haha yea, basically he was their sacrificial lamb… his only heroic characteristic
Not really .. He’s quite a special case because he summons stupor instead of using his knuckles to fight . Literally . So all that spirits already make him special enough to be a hero. One of a kind. The first of the first. Lol
I meant spirit*. Typo lol
I think you are calling them Heroes just based on their skills, not their personalities. IN my opinion, what makes a person a hero is that they chose to fight back for what they believe is right. From what you said, (I may interpret you incorrectly, apologies ahead of time) you make it sound like what makes a person a hero is just their skills and weaponry, not their reasons and willpower to carry out their actions.
Ahh, that reply was meant for ShnorbleDoo. Hope I didn’t offend you. I just was curious about your definition of what makes a person a hero.
yea, no, i was more or less joking. I agree, just because your powerful doesn’t make you a hero. A hero has integrity and a set of morals that guides their actions. And Eunwol’s sacrifice i believe IS what made him that hero. We know absolutely nothing else about his past at this point so who knows what his abilities were before the fox god blessed him with the power of the spirits? I really don’t think it even matters. The fact is, he IS a hero and his sacrifice was the greatest one he could give and thats what made him a hero.
Oh yeah, because Freud wasn’t a “normal” human without his dragon, right?
he was special back then cuz he was either the first pirate or one of the first and probably strongest
Plot twist: Evan is no longer a hero during the next remake . Eunwol will be there to replace Evan in MAPLE . lolol .
That’s what I’ve been saying the whole time! Lol. Evan was never there to begin with. 😛
A new class that doesn’t have their own weapon? Wow.
Is it just me, or does The Seed’s concept idea sounds incredibly familiar to Aincrad, Sword Art Online?
….. Good eye. I love SAO, so I sure do hope it’s like that. #dualswordclass
he is a stand user
dat 3330% skill
I don’t think that this will necessarily be the final hero…
It could be five existances for five seal stones, or they could be making new heros that haven’t been discovered yet. I mean, the heroes had to start from somewhere, right? They were heroes when they first fought the black mage, maybe now that he’s back there will be new heroes to take him on again.
There could be five heroes from maple, five in Grandis, it would make some sense, considering that they revealed (spoilers!) in the Zero storyline that the black mage is trying to fuse the worlds together.
There’s plenty of excuses that can be elaborated on in new updates…
Buuut that’s just one possibility.
agreed, potentially they could have 5 new hero classes or 25 new hero classes. The idea for the next ones is that they are NEW… current residents of maple world or grandis or some other world who decide to step up (or who become blessed with great power by some mystic weapon, artifact, spirit, etc…) and fight against the turned Transcendents
We already have new heroes. They’re called Explorers, Resistance, and Cygnus Knights.
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the male Eunwol looks more girly than the female?
all these classs really push old pirates way back.
I mean.. look at corsair as you can understand I own a corsair and recently I been making many chars for link skills and cards. and I just figred that corsair is 1 useless classes if you compare to all these nova and resistance classes for example hayato and xenon or kazier and apparently this new summoner coming. corsairs have very silly defence and laughable hp yet so bad damage and silly playstyle. while all these new classes just have all in 1 speed damage and tankish ,
so he’s captain retcon who fixes things without anyone ever knowing he did it because they forget him when he leaves.
…yawn. plotline-wise that’s a horribly sue-ish thing. it also undermines everyone else’s storylines, be they hero, nova, resistance, cygnus, adventurer, or otherwise, because maybe it’s REALLY just eunwol going and fixing things and everyone else taking credit for it, yeah?
So you’re saying that he is: An elf-dragon queen/empress master thief mage of light entrusted with the power of dragons, uses a polearm, rose up to fight the dark wings, and didn’t even originate from the maple world.
…Are you alright in the head? Maybe you should see a doctor.
I’m pretty sure EunWol’s story will continue when 5th is released, if not i will be disapointed in this storyline…
He looks alright, his huper skill attack is amazing, but seriously, when are we getting the last two cygnus knight? I’m dying to see the new and revamped nightwalker.
all the heros class sucksss
that is a REALLY messed up story…It makes me think of Kenny as mysterion in the Koon and friends trilogy
This is just a pirate kanna. I thought Kanna was the spirit walker.
holycrap its korra
so the heroes dont know hes a hero? im confused?
when is he coming to gms?
