After a very disappointing patch in the real server, Nexon has released a new patch for Tespia with a huge amount of skill changes as well as many other things (seriously… a lot). It’s all in preparation for the Summer patch I believe, so read on! There’s so much, they split the patch notes into 3…
Next week will be the event where they release more information about this summer’s update, it will probably include some of these. By the way, they are definitely hinting towards 5th job! There’s also some information about what the developers are working on at the moment!

Let me first say hello. We have a team of mind-reading robots hard at work preparing for the summer update.
Saying that, the summer heat has already begun, so we know you’re waiting for the big summer update that is released at this time of year. There are probably a lot of you who are wondering what type of content we are creating. Today we are going to show what we are currently developing!

As you can see, this map is not a straight view, it’s a quarter view world. This is a large map in Maple World where everyone can gather to play a variety of mini games and enjoy events. Various other events will also be held for Maplers. We want to give more rewards to users who can only play a couple of times a week rather than every day.
We will continue to work hard and develop this place for you. You’ll be awarded some content while you wait, due to the upcoming event which will release new information!
We are very excited to show you and we are expecting a lot of interest. We will continue releasing developers’ notes with a variety of news. We appreciate how much you love Maple and we hope for your continued support and feedback.

There is a new system called Star Force. Star Force is the total number of stars on all the equipment you are currently wearing. Overalls will give twice the amount of stars to make up for top/bottom combos.
In maps with fallen stars, you need a certain amount of Star Force to fight the monsters efficiently. In addition, you can use Star Force in the Maple Tutorial system to weaken monsters in maps that you teleport to.
Daaaaaang, those later enhancements cost a lot of mesos. Items that you wish to enhance now have a limit of stars based on their required level. Superior equipment will have lower maximum stars.
- Lv. 95 or lower: 5 stars (Superior equipment: 3)
- Lv. 95 ~ 109: 8 stars (Superior equipment: 5)
- Lv. 110 ~ 119: 10 stars (Superior equipment: 8)
- Lv. 120 ~ 129: 15 stars (Superior equipment: 10)
- Lv. 130 ~ 139: 20 stars (Superior equipment: 12)
- Lv. 140 ~ 149: 25 stars (Superior equipment: 15)
- Lv. 150 or higher: 25 stars (Superior equipment: 15)
You can now play short mini games before enhancing to increase your success rate of enhancements for a short period of time. If you play multiple times consecutively, the difficulty of the mini games will increase.
A failure protection system has been added to Star Force enhancements. When you have more than 10 or 15 stars on an item, an icon will appear. This icon protects the item from going below 10/15 enhancements!
There are new quests in East Minar Forest (level 100), the Clocktower in Ludibrium (level 115), Dead Mine (level 120), and West Minar Forest (level 130), all having to do with characters seeing fallen stars. These quests have to do with the new Star Force system.
In addition to the above quests, many maps have been affected by these stars and have changed appearance. Each of these maps has a ‘recommended Star Force’. If you don’t have enough Star Force, the monsters will be shielded and you’ll do decreased damage.

Monsters in these maps have been strengthened by the fallen stars, they can neutralize your attacks, increase their own damage, and give better rewards. They are much stronger but give a lot more experience compared to regular monsters.
NOTE: For the following new equipment, I will not be listing each item’s stats at the moment. You can check Southperry for specific items.
Set effects have been added for the level 110 Dragon set. It gives 110 defense, magic defense, accuracy and avoid for 2 pieces, 6% HP and MP for 3 pieces, and 6 attack/magic attack and 6 stat for 4 pieces.
New level 110 weapons called Zakum’s Poisonic weapons have been added, dropped by Zakum of course.
New level 120 weapons called Buhizel weapons will now drop from monsters level 115~129.
A new level 120 set called the Ecletic armor has been added. They drop from monsters level 115~129 and consist of four parts, a hat, overall, gloves, and shoes. It looks just like the Reverse set!
The set effect gives 120 defense, magic defense, accuracy and avoid for 2 pieces, 7% HP and MP for 3 pieces, and 7 attack/magic attack and 7 stat for 4 pieces.
A new level 120 set called the Necro armor will now drop from Hilla. It consists of four parts, a hat, overall, gloves, and shoes as well as the pre-existing weapon. This set actually looks really cool!
The set gives 3 all stats, 200 defense and magic defense for 2 pieces, 5 speed and 5% boss damage for 3 pieces, 100 defense and magic defense, 50 accuracy and avoid, 5 all stats for 4 pieces, and 10 attack and magic attack and 10% boss damage for 5 pieces.
New level 130 weapons called Jaihinn weapons will now drop from monsters level 125~139. A new level 130 set called the Muspel armor has been added. They drop from monsters level 125~139 and consist of four parts, a hat, overall, gloves, and shoes along with the Jaihinn weapons. Not sure I like the whole pink thing haha.
The set gives 130 defense, magic defense, accuracy and avoid for 2 pieces, 8% HP and MP for 3 pieces, 8 attack/magic attack and 8 stat for 4 pieces, and 220 defense and magic defense, 10 all stats, and 10% defense ignore for 5 pieces.
New level 140 weapons called Utgard weapons will now drop from monsters level 135 and higher. A new level 140 set called the Fensalir armor has been added. They drop from monsters level 135 and higher, and consist of five parts, a hat, overall, gloves, shoes, and cape. This set looks great!
The set gives 140 defense and magic defense, accuracy and avoid for 2 pieces, 9% HP and MP for 3 pieces, 9 attack/magic attack and 9 stat for 4 pieces, 250 defense and magic defense, 15 all stats, and 10% defense ignore for 5 pieces, and 10 attack/magic attack and 10% defense ignore for 6 pieces.

A new set called the Boss Accessory set has been added, consisting of an eye accessory, face accessory, shoulderpad, earrings, belt, pocket, pendant, ring, and badge. In addition to pre-existing items, the new boss accessories (mentioned above) will be included in this set.
The set gives 10 all stats, 5 attack/magic attack, 60 defense/magic defense, and 5% HP/MP for 3 pieces, 10 all stats, 5 attack/magic attack, 60 defense/magic defense, and 5% HP/MP for 5 pieces, 10 all stats, 10 attack/magic attack, 80 defense/magic defense, and 10% defense ignore for 7 pieces, and 15 all stats, 10 attack/magic attack, 100 defense/magic defense, and 10% boss damage for 9 pieces.
Reverse, Timeless, Loveless and Abyss equipment and recipes and the Chaos Pink Bean Mark will no longer drop. Aww that’s sad, a whole item set gone! I’m definitely gonna try to collect a Reverse set for memories before this patch comes.
The Lion King’s Castle quests have had their required levels increased from 110 to 115. Easy Van Leon’s difficulty was lowered. Its patterns have been simplified and some skills were adjusted. The drop rate of Purification Totems and Solid Dark Matter have been increased.
The coin shop in Lion King’s Castle has been reorganized. It no longer sells current level 120 Marx/Alma/Fox/Nox/Cora Van Leon equipment or the current level 125 Victor/Hex/Celine/Ska/Mer Van Leon equipment. Lion King’s Noble Medals have been deleted, now you only use Lion King’s Royal Medals, which can be acquired by using 50 Purification Totems on a Lion King’s Medal. Existing Noble Medals will be automatically changed into Royal Medals.
New level 130 Royal Van Leon equipment (including armor and weapons) is now sold! It consists of 5 parts, hat, overall, gloves, shoes, and cape (plus weapon).
The set gives 150 defense, magic defense, accuracy, avoid, 6 all stats and 10% boss damage for 4 pieces, 225 defense, magic defense, 10 speed, 15 jump, 10 attack/magic attack and 9 all stats for 5 pieces, and 300 defense, magic defense, 15 all stats, 10 stat, 15% HP and MP, 20 attack/magic attack, 10% boss damage and 5% chance to inflict level 2 Freeze for 6 pieces.
Many of the quests in the lower Ludibrium clock tower have been removed. At the Cave of Life, Keroben has fled, meaning you no longer need a Transformation Elixir! Moira is now waiting at the Cave of Life entrance to help those with Honorary Marks of the Expedition Leader fight Horntail.
The Maze Room has disappeared, and now with the Mark, anyone can challenge Horntail alone. Easy Mode Horntail has been added, for those level 130 and higher. Normal Horntail’s recommended level has been raised to 130.
Easy Magnus‘ difficulty was lowered. Compared to its entry-level, some attacks were doing too much damage so they have been modified.
Evolving System has been enhanced! The experience from monsters inside has been increased. The ‘central control system’ has been updated to allow you to access all of the Links. Some of the maps inside have been changed. Monsters have had their stats changed. Some of the quests/missions have been changed.
The limit has been changed from 5 times in one day (20 minutes each) to 3 times in one day (15 minutes each). You can now revive inside Evolving System and when you loot an Evolving Coin, all party members will receive one as well.
Some new quests have also been added, involving Orca disappearing and enhancing the Evolving System.
Machine C-2‘s shop has been adjusted. He no longer sells ES Armor scrolls, or Enhancement scrolls. He now sells Mastery Book 30 and 100 Scroll Traces. Some cores have been added and deleted, and some core prices have been changed.
Mastery Book 20 now costs 3 million mesos and Mastery Book 30 now costs 5 million mesos.
The Maple Tutorial system has been reorganized. It is now split into Normal/Hard, for level 10-100 and the new level 100-140 guide respectively!
The window has been updated, now giving a lot more information including the main rewards from the area. If you right-click the place, you can find where the content is located on the world map.
Elite Monsters and bonus stages have been modified. Now, Elite Monsters’ skills will be proportional to monster levels in the map.
In bonus stages, Mimics’ drops will now be private to whoever hit the box. An error has been corrected where the Mimics would fly to the top of the map. You can now only get 3 rare items from a single bonus stage. 50% Innocent Scrolls are now a reward from bonus stages.
Party experience has been changed. Now, if there is a difference of 40 levels in the party, the party will not give bonus experience for the extra party members.
Blacklisting has been enhanced, now people on your blacklist cannot /find you or send you notes.
The private connection system has been improved, now when you log in privately, you will be marked offline in the guild list and guild alliance list. In addition, others will not be able to /find you.
You can no longer use teleport items in maps you’ve been taken to through boss party matching.
Acquiring 4th job SP has been changed. Now, after level 100, when you hit any levels ending in 0, 3, 6, and 9, you’ll get double the SP. After level 100, every 10 levels you get, the base SP you get per level up will be increased by 1. When you advance to 4th job, you will now only get 3 SP instead of 4.
The skill level up window has been changed. Now when you want to use your skill points, a separate window will open which will allow you to add large quantities of SP into skill. This will also prevent you from accidentally using your SP.
Master levels have been changed for many skills to make only 255 SP required for 4th job (for all jobs except Evan and Zero). After level 140, you will no longer gain 4th job SP. As a result, only 255 SP will be saved when resetting SP.

Skill Changes
Hero
Hero’s hunting ability is not very good. This is because they have no way of moving fast across a map. Although we could just increase their damage or skill range, we want to stay true to the Hero’s character concept. Therefore, Self Recovery was improved and Rage Uprising’s cooldown was reduced to be more helping in hunting.
- Combo Force: this skill no longer pulls enemies towards you, it now moves you towards the enemy instead
- Self Recovery: HP recovered has been increased from 1000 HP to 1500 HP
- Rage Uprising: cooldown has been decreased from 30 seconds to 10 seconds
Paladin
Paladins have high survivability but high damage at the same time. Our concept of the Paladin was to be able to tank a lot of damage, but they are too strong at the moment.
- Void Elemental: elemental ignore has been removed
- Advanced Charge: charge skills’ attack count boost has been decreased from 2 to 1
Dark Knight
Dark Knights with 50% or higher buff duration boosts could always use Gungnir Descent without a cooldown. Our concept for it was to be a strong damaging skill which is not always available to use. In addition, Cross Over Chains gave way too much damage.
- Beholder: cooldown has been increased from 60 seconds to 70 seconds
- Cross Over Chains: total damage boost has been decreased from 100% to 80%
- Sacrifice: duration has been decreased from 40 seconds to 30 seconds
Archmage (I/L)
Archmages’ ability to hunt and boss are both very bad. Therefore we have increased the damage of Chain Lightning, and have given them more damage passively.
- Freezing Effect: in addition to existing effects, when attacking Frozen enemies with lightning attacks, your damage will be increased by 8% per stack
- Chain Lightning: damage has been increased from 273% to 300%
Bowmaster
Bowmasters’ damage is low due to a lack of attack from their buffs and passives. In addition, we received a lot of complaints that Arrow Blaster was difficult to use compared to the 4th job Hurricane skill. Therefore we increased their attack and moved Arrow Platter and Hurricane around.
- Extreme Archery: Bow: in addition to existing effects, this skill now gives 30% damage
- Illusion Step: DEX boost has been increased from 40 to 60
- Hurricane: moved from 3rd job to 4th job, damage has been adjusted to 280%
- Arrow Blaster: moved from 4th job to 3rd job, damage has been adjusted to 181%
- Arrow Blaster – Reinforce: changed to Hurricane – Reinforce: Hurricane’s damage is increased by 20%. [req. level: 155]
- Arrow Blaster – Boss Killer: changed to Hurricane – Boss Killer: Hurricane’s boss damage is increased by 20%. [req. level: 177]
- Arrow Platter – Extra Target: changed to Hurricane – Split Attack: Hurricane’s damage is halved but its number of hits is increased by 1. [req. level: 195]
Shadower
Shadowers need to collect 5 Killing Points in order to strengthen their skills, but otherwise their damage is low. To solve this, Killing Points now have a maximum of 3 and some skills’ delays have been adjusted. In addition, Assassinate’s high percent damage hits the cap a lot so we increased its limit. Also, Asassinate’s effect was changed due to comments given to us.
- Assassinate: skill casting animation has been changed
- Shadower Instinct: maximum Killing Points has been decreased from 5 to 3, extra attack per KP has been increased from 6 to 10
- Assassinate – Limit Canceller: maximum damage cap has been increased from 60,000,000 to 70,000,000
Captain
Captain’s Fusillade’s delay is too long and lacks the ability to hunt high defense enemies. In addition, Rapid Fire’s damage and Captain’s bossing ability are low. We adjusted the delay of Fusillade and increased their maximum HP. We wanted to increase the damage of Rapid Fire but there was a fear of Phantom becoming too strong so we increased Captain Dignity’s damage instead.
- Fusillade: skill delay has been decreased from 1410 to 1110
- Crew Commandership: in addition to existing effects, this skill now gives 5000 HP passively
- Captain Dignity: damage has been increased from 100% to 200%
- Rapid Fire – Add Range: range boost has been increased from 50 to 100
Evan
Evan has enough damage compared to other magician characters, but they lack the ability to move quickly with Teleport, making their hunting less efficient. Therefore we increased the distance of Teleport.
Mercedes
Mercedes is not very efficient at hunting, and we wanted to return to her stylish elf archer concept with skills like Ring of Ishtar and Legendary Spear. Therefore, to create more stylish play patterns, we gave them the ability to link together skills and gave more damage when linking them. In addition, we increased Leap Tornado’s damage. People complained that each of the debuffs durations were too short so we lengthened them, but Legendary Spear without a cooldown was too strong so we added one back.
- Strike Dualshot: can now be linked with Charge Drive, Unicorn Spike, Legendary Spear, and Lightning Edge
- Leap Tornado: damage has been increased from 195% to 215%, can now be linked with Gust Dive and Legendary Spear
- Unicorn Spike: debuff duration has been increased from 15 seconds to 30 seconds, can now be linked with Charge Drive, Strike Dualshot, Legendary Spear, and Lightning Edge
- Gust Dive: can now be linked with Charge Drive, Strike Dualshot, Leap Tornado, Unicorn Spike, Legendary Spear, and Lightning Edge
- Highkick Demolition: can now be linked with Leap Tornado, Gust Dive, Legendary Spear, and Rolling Moonsault
- Ignis Roar: attack boost has been removed, this skill now gives you 6 attack every time you link a skill (stacks up to 10 times) for 10 seconds
- Legendary Spear: debuff duration has been increased from 15 seconds to 30 seconds, cooldown of 5 seconds has been added, can now be linked with Leap Tornado and Gust Dive
- Lightning Edge: debuff duration has been increased from 15 seconds to 30 seconds, can now be linked with Charge Drive, Strike Dualshot, Unicorn Spike, and Legendary Spear
- Rolling Moonsault: can now be linked with Leap Tornado, Gust Dive, and Legendary Spear
EunWol
EunWol’s movement speed is low and linking skills together is clunky. Therefore we have added some speed and changed the skills to automatically do all of their hits with one skill press. However, this might be inconvenient at times so you can now move or jump to cancel the skill while its being used.
- Spirit Bond 2: in addition to existing effects, now gives 20 speed
- Mega Punch: now automatically hits twice with one key press
- Island Strike: now automatically hits twice with one key press
- Ground Strike: now automatically hits twice with one key press
- Shockwave Punch: now automatically hits three times with one key press
- Bomb Punch: now automatically hits four times with one key press
Flame Wizard
Flame Wizard’s Orbital Flame’s damage added up very fast and was too powerful. In addition, Blazing Extinction’s attack range was high enough that you could use the skill to hunt by itself. Therefore we have decreased Orbital Flame’s number of hits and movement speed, as well as decreasing Blazing Extinction’s range.
- Orbital Flame: number of hits has been decreased from 2 to 1, speed has been decreased
- Orbital Flame II: number of hits has been decreased from 2 to 1, speed has been decreased
- Orbital Flame III: number of hits has been decreased from 3 to 2, speed has been decreased
- Orbital Flame IV: number of hits has been decreased from 3 to 2, speed has been decreased
- Blazing Extinction: attack range has been decreased
Wind Breaker
Wind Breakers were too powerful. Therefore we reduced some of their damage.
- Fairy Turn: damage has been decreased from 195% to 175%
- Gust Shot: damage has been decreased from 285% to 260%
- Sky’s Song: damage has been decreased from 370% to 345%
- Trifling Whim III: damage has been decreased from 280% to 260%
Night Walker
Our concept for Night Walker was to have strong bossing capabilities while giving up the ability to hunt well, but it was too good at both. Therefore, we lowered the number of bounces of Shadow Bats and also decreased Quintuple Throw’s boss damage. We also received complaints about Siphon Vitality’s duration so we increased it.
- Bat Communion: number of bounces has been decreased from 2 to 1
- Bat Communion III: number of bounces has been decreased from 2 to 1
- Siphon Vitality: duration has been increased from 5 seconds to 10 seconds
- Quintuple Throw – Boss Killer: boss damage has been decreased from 20% to 10%
Demon Slayer
In a previous balance patch, we added a slow effect to Demon Impact but it didn’t apply to Evil Torture and it wasn’t useful so we corrected that.
Battlemage
Battle Mage’s skill damage were low and their buff skills had long delays. Therefore we added a new skill which gives them invincibility if revived and increased their skill damage. Also, we changed some skills’ buff durations to unify them.
- NEW! Spirit of Freedom: The Resistance’s strength and desire for freedom gives 5 seconds of invincibility if revived. (Beginner skill)
- Quad Blow: damage has been increased from 155% to 165%
- Hyper Dark Chain: skill delay has been decreased from 1050ms to 880ms
- Blood Drain: duration has been increased from 120 seconds to 200 seconds
- Death Blow: damage has been increased from 165% to 180%
- Dark Lightning: skill delay has been decreased from 1320ms to 720ms
- Super Body: buff duration has been increased from 150 seconds to 200 seconds
- Finish Blow: damage has been increased from 240% to 280%
- Cyclone: damage has been increased from 360% to 480%, cooldown has been decreased from 12 seconds to 5 seconds
- Dark Genesis: skill delay has been decreased from 3240ms to 900ms
- Big Crunch Aura: buff duration has been increased from 150 seconds to 200 seconds
Wild Hunter
Wild Hunter’s mount acts as a penalty due to its buffs and long skill delays. Therefore, we added a new skill which gives them invincibility if revived and enhanced its buffs. We also unified buff durations and we added some passive HP to Beast Form. Finally, Rampage as One’s cooldown was reduced to be more useful while hunting.

- Soul Arrow: Crossbow: attack boost has been increased from 30 to 40
- Howling: duration has been increased from 240 seconds to 300 seconds
- Cross Road: skill delay has been decreased from 1320ms to 930ms
- Beast Form: duration has been increased from 150 seconds to 300 seconds, attack boost has been increased from 30% to 40%, HP boost has been decreased from 80% to 15%, in addition to existing effects this skill now gives 80% HP passively
- Wild Vulcan: skill delay has been decreased, range has been increased
- Assistant Hunting Unit: skill delay has been decreased
- Extend Magazine: duration has been increased from 130 seconds to 300 seconds, damage has been increased from 10% to 20%, all stats boost has been increased from 20 to 40
- Rampage As One: cooldown has been decreased from 60 seconds to 15 seconds
Mechanic
Mechanic’s mount acts as a penalty due to its set up time, including its transformations for various skills. Therefore, we added a skill which gives them invincibility if revived, adjusted the delay of many skills, and increased the damage of Heavy Machine-gun so that its worth taking the penalty it has.

- Magnetic Field: skill delay has been decreased from 1260ms to 630ms
- Metal Armor: Heavy Machine-gun: skill delay has been decreased from 540ms to 270ms, damage has been increased from 240% to 300%
- Accelerator: EX-7: skill delay has been decreased from 1260ms to 630ms
- Healing Robot: H-LX: skill delay has been decreased from 1260ms to 630ms
- Metal Armor: Missile Tank: Heavy Machine-gun’s damage has been increased from 30% to 40%, MP consumption has been decreased from 25 to 10, skill delay has been decreased from 840ms to 420ms
- Robo Factory: RM1: skill delay has been decreased from 1260ms to 630ms
- Amplifier: AF-11: skill delay has been decreased from 1260ms to 630ms
- Laser Blast: skill delay has been decreased from 1110ms to 900ms
Xenon
Xenon’s 3rd job hunting ability is low so we increased some skills’ damage.
- Combat Switching: Explosion: damage has been increased from 200% to 220%
- Combat Switching: Shoot Down: damage has been increased from 250% to 270%
- Combat Switching: Split: damage has been increased from 251% to 271%
Mikhail
There was no reason for Soul Rage to have a cooldown since it switches between being able to attack multiple mobs and 1 monster.
Kaiser
We thought it was awkward that after you use Final Figuration, you can only use a certain number of skills. Therefore you can now use all active attack skills in Final Figuration. We also increased the damage of some skills to increase hunting efficiency in 2nd and 3rd job.
- Flame Shot: can now be used in Final Figuration
- Impact Wave: damage has been increased from 250% to 270%, can now be used in Final Figuration
- Chain Pulling: damage has been increased from 250% to 280%, can now be used in Final Figuration
- Petrified: can now be used in Final Figuration
- Wingbeat: can now be used in Final Figuration
- Sword Strike: can now be used in Final Figuration
- Infernal Breath: can now be used in Final Figuration
Angelic Burster
Angelic Burster has very high damage skills but their damage cap was low so we added an increased cap. We also created a new skill to increase the number of hits that Angelic Burster can do.
- Affinity IV: in addition to existing effects, this skill now increases your maximum damage cap by 20,000,000
- NEW! Soul Seeker Expert: When using active skills (except for Soul Seeker), your attacks will have a chance to automatically trigger Soul Seeker. (required skill: level 20 Soul Seeker) (max level: 10)
- Level 10: 25% chance to summon a Soul Seeker which does 70% of Soul Seeker’s damage

Unless hurricane is getting some splash like arrow blaster though, I REALLY dislike this change. AB’s a really flexible and useful skill, and I’ve been having a blast with my BM since it’s introduction. Going back to hurricaning everything would be dull.

you considered only getting a buff a good thing what about that still annoying need to activate BB before using big crunch aura? how about the annoying ass having to press a button for finishing blow then a separate button for battle kings bar which increases its delay btw making BaM’s slower? how about that new skill that IF revived it activates how in the HELL is that useful? can resistance members revive themselves? why make a skill that is 100% reliant on another class? there are so many why not do this or you should just do this or why did you do this? BaM’s with battle kings bar can be very efficient simply by making it a toggle skill that when on automatically attacks after Finishing blow. Dont make BaM’s have to buff up so much. Make cyclone like angelic busters which can drag in boss mobs,and make it so that big crunch aura doesnt need BB to be activated before it can be used and BaM’s would flow so much easier
Invincibility skill is for places where you can revive yourself like in bosses, so you can summon your Jaguar/Mech/cast your Auras without being hit by anything.
Thank you Max for clearing that up but it is still seemingly useless in regards to efficiency where as most classes can get out their large skills easily BaM’s main boss skill has to be triggered directly after finishing blows use and the timing gets very messed up during a boss battle making it tedious and annoying

Because they’re probably adding fifth job as stated. If they are, you would continue to gain sp until a really high level. They’re not doing this and just leaving 110 levels without any change in your skills

I’m confused… i LOVE the idea of Merc’s being able to link more skills together but did we get nerfed or buffed?
The “link system” seems good for mobbing but, ignis road now gives attack bost based on how you link skills and thats pretty unnecessary while fighting static bosses like zakum and HT, not really sure if I like that change on ignis road, sames goes for legendary spear, the cd could be a problem if you are trying to link it multiple times.
On paper it seems that Ignis got a terrible nerf considering spamming Leaf Tornado for mobbing is still best, and the 3 debuffs only need to be applied every 30 sec, even tho Ignis has to be retriggered every 10 sec. However, if each stack resets the entire stack duration, then using Spikes Royale every cooldown would seem ok. Or they can just change the stack duration to 30 seconds, double the damage bonus per stack and half the max number of stacks

I wouldn’t say they are the most hated. Wild Hunters and Mechanics aren’t exactly the classes people flock to. I wouldn’t even say Buccs are the most hated by Nexon either. Marksman would probably take the cake when it comes to that. That class gets shafted the most out of any other class due to getting nerfed and glitched regularly and almost never receiving a buff or boost in damage. The only advantage to the class is that if you had a couple thousand dollars to spend in the game they could potentially be a great class since they have a large cap (Pay2WinClass). The biggest shafting of all time goes to Bishops after Big Bang though. The Dawn Warrior nerfing was pretty big too but at least they were actually completely OP before.

I gotta say, I really, really love how Nexon is explaining their reasoning behind their balances. It definitely threw me off guard, but I’m really liking it.
Captain buff is still sucks bad… because even now headshot is still better to use for bossing than rapid fire… and rapid fire is an ping depend skill.. by improving Captain Dignity damage from 100 to 200% is still not worth using rapid fire over headshot and headshot got no buff at all these 100% extra on this final attack skill is still meaning less for headshot. therefor they didn’t even improve captain abilities … that really sucks because I think captain is the weakest and noobest class out there now days
For me, I feel that the main problem of captain is the loss of attack when we die to a boss skill like arka’s screen crack, since our attack buffs come from our crew and roll of the dice, and they have a long countdown so we can’t buff up for damage until after like a few mins… The crew and dice roll should be modified so that they stay with us even when we die, so that we don’t lose our buffs which have ridiculously long cd time
Captain changes are useless. O.o … even now we don’t use rapid fire at all… we only use headshot even after these changes headshot is still better and the changes to Captain Dignity are meaningless on headshot skill .. so basically we got no improvement and rapid fire is ping depend skill so basically if they wanted to make Captain jump over from using headshot to use rapid fire instead the Captain Dignity should’ve been at least 400% rather than 200% other wise headshot is still better skill to use.. more range and more dps ignore defense 400% and 100% critical chance.. why would they make so meaning less changes?

Does this means phantoms get a little nerfed? I see dark chains from DK nerfed and i dont know exactly how arrow platter/hurricane jod advancement switch will affect its use. Arrowplatter seems way more useful for bossing than hurricane due to its attack speed, not a Bowman user though.

are you mad at that? its because the class it self is very weak. but the changes that could be made to make it better are not being made they are trying to make the classes more balanced but with BaM’s efficiency could make it more balanced rather than skill delays and buff durations increasing.
It’s weak because of the previous re-balancing.. it was too OP at one point. A class that has tons of HP, MP, can heal itself, has an ultimate, hits fast, has huge defenses, several hits, huge damage, summons, invincibility frames, and party buffs for speed, attack, avoid, defense, etc.. it was an everything class.. so to compensate they nerfed them hard and put huge cool downs on everything.. but just like every other class, if it is “balanced” it is destined to be weak because Nexon makes a new OP class every month.
at one point it was op in comparison to how all other classes were but they re-balanced to weakened it and then made every other class stronger than it and still never brought it back to a proper balance

There’s one reason why I don’t think it’s that; entering heavy machine gun mode is definitely longer than 540ms at the moment.

Ice Lightnings need to hit more monsters on Chain Lightning, Thunderstorm needs to attack faster and have more damage along with Elquines, we need WAY less delay while beginning to use Ice Orb, and Ice Orb needs more hits per second.
well they would also have to make changes to their counter parts bishops and F/P Archmages. because what you are asking is going to cause another gap between them and in your case bend it in I/L’s favor but they could simply buff all at this point if they are looking for efficiency. but unfortunately we have no say =(

Maybe 5th job won’t start till 170/180, they could do 4th till 140 then use hypers as a filler till 170/180 then give you 5th. Though that would probably be boring as you can only put a point in hypers every so often and they would be better off with keeping it the way it is currently.

Night lord: we do really have to face the reality that this class always has been and always will be, almost the same as night walker. witch one is better will change from time to time, but nexon seems to have no intent of separating them.
Buccaneer: can you guys shush? the bucc is pretty powerful already and anyway, more ways to punch things? not nearly as interesting as the other stuff the bucc has now.
Aran: Nexon ditched this class after big bang. they may have added hypers, but that is it. and that’s okay. why? there really isn’t anything to add here. what would you even change besides increasing damage sometimes? the aran was released finished, compared to the eunwol and the demon avenger where much laziness occurred. (avenger re-uses someone else’s storyline and Eunwol has almost no active buffs to avoid making skill effects, [plus, first job: who ever heard of a skill with a master level of 25? O_O])
for the record, blessing of onyx, the evan skill, caps off at a level of 25.

I loved my Blaze wizard before the revamp as well. I always hated how people would say Blaze wizard was a rip-off of F/P and talking down on Blaze wizard but as soon as the revamp happens they change there options so quick.

I agree completely with “these changes” especially about captain changes.
I mean at first I was like yay im so happy that they realize captain is sucks in everything now and even tho that he meant to be a bossing and pure dps class he fail even at dps.. but then again these changes are completely useless even with adding 50 range to rapid fire and 100% to final attack thing.. no one is going to use rapid fire at all. so these changes are meaning less. headshot is still better in any anything .. at this rate im just going to quit my captain and make another class for example warrior which are always strong no matter what.

If you read that changes, arrow platter is now a 3rd job skill. That means they either go back to rapid fire or the new hurricane.

For Eunwol, will we still be able to fully control his punches(switching directions mid combo) or did they remove the control all together? It would be great if holding down the skill key did the punches automatically but losing full control for simplified gameplay would be a shame.

I am not going to play MS again as long as bishops stay ridiculously weak. Now even if they had their Genesis back without the cooldown they’d still be weak. The supportive-type excuse is lame. In many other online games priests can be considered as strong. There is almost nothing left for bishops that make them unique.
