This patch features an expansion to Friends Story, featuring Damian, a new student and an up and coming musician! There was also some other nice changes such as to Empress.

This patch along with the Freud’s Diary event (they called it episode 1 so I’m 99% sure a sequel will be released in the patch after) and the Solo Day event will be released on March 12 to the official server.

Through Elwynn in Henesys, you can now access Chapter 6 of Friends Story, New Student Damian and the Burning Rock Soul if you have completed all the other chapters. A strange rock beat in Shinsoo International School has caused the entire student body to rebel and misbehave, find the cause of the music!

Hahahahahaha oh man, everyone is so perfect in Friends Story form.

In addition, Friends Story received some changes to make it better for users to enjoy.

• You can now talk to Elwynn to reset your Friends Story progress, allowing you to complete all 6 chapters again
• After clearing Friends Story, during your 2nd play through you’ll find special items and hidden stories in Chapters 1~5.
• Between 8PM and 9PM, you can answer Orca’s call once per day to receive a special reward.
• All quests’ hunting and collecting difficulties were cut down significantly so that users can focus on the story.
• After completing all the Chapters, the Abandoned Building dungeon’s playtime has been greatly reduced as well, so it is much easier to collect Needles and level up your badge.
• The time limit in Dust zones has been increased from 5 to 10 minutes.

The boss Empress Cygnus now uses a Death Count system, similar to the Root Abyss bosses. Users will each have 5 deaths before they are not allowed to resurrect in the map.

Cygnus will now also drop the level 140 shoulderpad items, which previously were only available through Shadow Empress in the Evolving World.

The boss Hilla‘s limit of parties per channel in Normal Mode has been increased.

Elite Bosses will now give experience upon being defeated.

In the Auction House, a new button now allows you to collect all goods from your completed auctions.

The Strange Cube, Craftsman Cube, and Meister’s Cube now use the same UI as the Red and Black Cubes, meaning you can continually use them without having to double-click them in your inventory again. After using one, you’ll get the option to ‘use one more’ if available.

The 15 minute trade restriction if you log in with a different IP than usual has been changed to apply to the whole account, instead of one a character-by-character basis.

After completing certain story quests, Xenon, Kaiser, and Angelic Burster can now learn the Will of the Alliance skill.
