Space Pirate Bunny Fight

This patch was released to the official server a couple of days ago but I didn’t have time to write a post about it! It contains the job balancing skill changes in my last post (as well as some new changes), the changes to boss rewards, Japan’s Sengoku Era in the World Tour, and this year’s Chuseok event!

Skill Changes

All Jobs

Certain errors which interfered with smooth play have been fixed.

  • Party buff skills: an error where you would not receive party buffs for a short period of time after reviving has been fixed
  • Final Attack skills: an error where skills with certain delays would lower Final Attack’s activation chance has been fixed
  • Final damage increasing passive skills: an error where unequipped items’ stat attack (damage range addition) would include final damage increasing passive skills has been fixed
  • Skills which give invincibility after use: an error where you would still take damage from Damage Reflect while invincible has been fixed

Hero

We have increased Combo Force’s range and changed Shout to be more useful when hunting.

  • Combo Force Combo Force: range moved when using this skill with the down arrow key has been increased, however you will not charge up Combo when using the movement skill
  • Shout Shout: damage has been decreased from 380% to 200%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 3, stun duration is now the same at all levels (6 seconds), a 10 second cooldown has been added, now when this skill is used with the down arrow key it will consume 2 Combo and will no longer stun but its attack range and number of hits will be increased to 6
  • Incising Incising: now passively increases Shout’s damage by 160%p
  • Advanced Final Attack - Bonus Chance Advanced Final Attack – Bonus Chance: activation rate boost has been increased from 10% to 15%
  • Rage Uprising Rage Uprising: number of monsters hit has been increased from 8 to 10

Paladin

To help improve hunting efficiency for lower levels, we have decreased the level requirement for a Hyper Skill.

  • Sanctuary - Cooltime Reduce Sanctuary – Cooltime Reduce: required level has been decreased from level 195 to 162

Archmage (F/P)

An error where Mist Eruption would decrease the DoT damage of Poison Mist has been fixed, and a few other complaints have been addressed.

  • Blizzard Blizzard: delay before you can use Teleport after using this skill has been decreased
  • Teleport Mastery - Add Range Teleport Mastery – Add Range: has been changed into an on/off skill

Bishop

In order to increase their damage and improve the efficiency of Bahamut, a new effect has been added.

  • Bahamut Bahamut: attack range has been increased, you can now use Bahamut while in Vengeance of Angel, monsters attacked by Bahamut will now receive Bahamut’s Mark, all attacks other than Bahamut’s will have their final damage increased by 25%
  • Genesis Genesis: delay before you can use Teleport after using this skill has been decreased
  • Vengeance of Angel Vengeance of Angel: final damage boost has been increased from 15% to 25%

Bowmaster

Installing Arrow Platter at the correct angle is a very important skill to Bowmasters but its damage is also low. To help fix this, we will be adding the ability to install Arrow Platter at its max angles quickly and increase its damage.

  • Arrow Platter Arrow Platter: installed Arrow Platter’s damage has been decreased from 140% to 85%
  • Wounds Shot Wounds Shot: now passively increases installed Arrow Platter’s damage by 90%p
  • Bow Expert Bow Expert: now gives you the ability to use arrow keys when installing Arrow Platter to instantly choose the max angles (in other words, if you install Arrow Platter while holding the up key it will be installed automatically at the highest angle and if you install it while holding the down key it will be installed automatically at the lowest angle)

Marksman

To help improve hunting efficiency for lower levels, we have decreased the level requirement for a Hyper Skill. Also, because Sniping’s instant kill effect was removed, we have now changed it to be able to activate Final Attack.

  • Sniping Sniping: can now activate Final Attack

  • Royal Guard Royal Guard: can now activate Final Attack
  • Soul Link Soul Link: the description now correctly states that party members will receive both attack and magic attack from this skill

It did not make sense to be able to increase your final damage when your Overload was at 0.

  • Release Overload Release Overload: can no longer be used when your Overload is at 0

Resistance

It was awkward story-wise to have your return skills before advancing so it has been changed.

Wild Hunter

At a high rank, their Character Card was too efficient.

  • Character Card: activation rate and damage boost have been adjusted (from B rank to A rank: 10%/15%/20%/25% chance to increase your attack’s damage by 4%/8%/12%/16%)

  • Soul Resonance Soul Resonance: an error where the duration of the damage reduction while using this skill was less than the duration of the skill has been fixed

I guess this means for versions with incredibly low drop rates (like SEA) will have a chance at getting chaos root abyss set after completing it for about month (5 successes in 5 weeks). But for other versions it makes it so u can choose what u get (warrior eqs will drop in price?) but lowers the availability of the set.

    where is the xenon buff?

    September 28, 2015 at 9:55 am

um, in the Dual Blade’s skill changes, it’s written

“we have tried to reduce the penalty after dying”

But I don’t see any penalty reducing after dying? (Just a bug correction and a damage increase)

Or is it some very Dual Blade-specific thing? Can someone please explain this?

      September 28, 2015 at 3:00 pm

When DBs die, they lose their Final Cut buff and its usually still on cooldown so they can’t get their full damage out for a bit.

    • September 28, 2015 at 8:03 pm

before if you died while final cut buff was active you’d lose 60% damage, now you lose less since they moved part of the damage to a passive buff

No xenon revamp? 😦 We need more buffs for mobbing. Give beam dance more % or another line or 2 and snipe more % and buff OOParts duration to at least 1-2minutes so it isn’t considered useless as well as lowering entangling lash cooldown from 180 sec to 120 sec so it is on par with other bind skills CDs which is 20sec duration/120sec cooldown. All these would greatly benefit xenon.

Then again there are plenty of xenon a out there who cap and don’t have any of this. On the other hand, it would probably be nerfed again if this ever happened. So rip unfounded xenons.

Installing Arrow Platter at the correct angle is a very important skill to Bowmasters but its damage is also low. To help fix this, we will be adding the ability to install Arrow Platter at its max angles quickly and increase its damage.

Arrow Platter Arrow Platter: installed Arrow Platter’s damage has been decreased from 140% to 85%
Wounds Shot Wounds Shot: now passively increases installed Arrow Platter’s damage by 90%

^ This above is so confusing, increase by nerfing it and then adding a passive?

Arrow Platter: 85% dmg + 90% of pasive = 175%, better than 140% that had before.

      Sorry, I’m not sure.
You could try searching YouTube for boss runs and check how they drop (you might want to check for ver. 1.2.249 or later because they changed the droprate of them in that patch). Here’s the Korean names of the bosses.
      카오스 블러디퀸 (Bloody Queen)
      카오스 피에르 (Pierre)
      카오스 반반 (Von Bon)
      카오스 벨룸 (Vellum)
