Question about lucky items. Say I have a lucky ring (scarlet ring in GMS), will it apply to sets that don’t use rings as well (say, the root abyss set). IE, can I use a scarlet ring to replace the Root Abyss hat in the set?

    • Max
      April 28, 2017 at 11:36 am

I’m not 100% sure but I think it still needs to be a piece of equipment that is already in that set (so no the Scarlet Ring won’t help with the Root Abyss set).

Hello Max! Do you know of any videos showcasing the new lucky items mechaning? I.E. Whether an item not belonging to any of the equip types in a set can fit into that set (For example scarlet ring fitting into a 3 set Absolabs). May i also know what the lucky items are called in Korean? Thank you!

Frozen Rink – “By consuming 30 Galaxy Stars, you can charge up 3,000 monsters to spawn.”

Eh, so we have to ‘pay’ to hunt there? :S

Yep but I heard the exp is insane so it’s probably worth it.

Just tried it, the exp definitely seems worth the 30 stars 🙂 Also considering that 30 stars just means 2-3 reversi wins~

Yeah the active buff still gives avoidability (idk why they didn’t just make it passive too).

    Hi may i know that for shadower’s Eviscerate skill;

if your assassinate V matrix enhancement is more than 20 lvl ( + 1 more monster count), does 2 monster have the debuff mark instead? i understand that when you hit another monster, the debuff on 1st one disappear, but not sure for this case

If you do not mind, able to show a short video of the new Eviscerate skills? i try searched youtube, most of it are older version.

Hey Max, I know you’re not a tech support kinda guy, but as of this latest patch, i’m getting lots of crashes with the error 38: end of file message.

I have absolutely no clue what the issue could be, last time I experienced it was around big bang on GMS, when map crashers were a thing. Did they find their way to KMS? Have you had that issue at all?

I’ve been getting the same error a bunch of times, it’s so annoying -_- I hope that Nexon can fix the error soon.

I wouldn’t dare say i’m glad, but at least it’s not just me. I hope they extend the 14th anni events through to the start of PB (Though I think they were gonna do that anyway, it’d be a pretty big gap between the end of the events and start of PB if the char creation screen is right). Still annoyed I can’t level up my burning char though.

Thanks for the response, and as always, thank you for posting these blogs every update. You help me and plenty of others figure out what’s going on in maple, more than our official providers a lot of the time.

“The experience and meso penalty for monsters within the ‘-11 levels ~ -20 levels’ range has been decreased.”

Wait did we always have a meso penalty in GMS? I cant tell lol

Yes, there’s a meso penalty in GMS. It doesn’t apply to non-KMS mobs, though (e.g. Blackgate and MP3).

There were job positions being hired for relevant to new mobile titles, and most people speculated maple M, but I don’t know. pocket maple and maple live were both pretty big flops in the west.

So like at this point have they confirmed that they aren’t making any new classes? It’s been like two years now, no?

Winter of 2015 is when blaster came out. Year and a half. That’s also the period between eunwol and kinesis. I’d rather they take their time, and it’s not looking like there’s gonna be a new class this summer either because pink bean will be an event over the summer.

I was expecting Resistance thief to come by soon.
and please dont say “there’s Xenon”

Demons are resistance warriors, and blaster comes out as the main resistance warrior
so im sure there is a thief.
