I’m guessing Magic Circuit Full Drive works a lot like Dark Knight’s Cross Surge, but scales from your MP instead of HP? And since Magic Circuit Full Drive is Lef/Flora only skill, Illium should be able to have this skill, right?

    • Max
      December 29, 2017 at 8:58 pm

      Yep pretty much.
Yeah I think so, since it doesn’t require anything Ark-specific so Illium can use it and they also gave Illium the same Lef beginner passive as Ark.

Hey Max, just confused on a couple things:

“When a monster’s HP bar is off the map, it will now be displayed under the monster instead.”
    What does this mean exactly?

“Fixed an error where certain monsters’ levels were not adjusted correctly in Mechanical Grave.”
Guessing this refers to the Laseroid being level 216.

“Fixed an error where Korean Folk Town’s Samihos did not drop Samiho’s Tails.”
I thought none of the monsters in KFT dropped etc items now? Or did they recently add them?

    • Max
      December 30, 2017 at 12:45 pm

I’m not sure but I guess there were some maps where the map was too short/monsters were too tall and the HP bars were off screen?

      Nah it’s still level 216 😛

Looks like it was just a change for Samihos. Maybe the item is still required for some non-KFT quest? IDK.

Thanks. As for the Laseroid, *slow clap* bravo Nexon.

        December 31, 2017 at 10:14 pm

The first one might be related to VR elite mobs, especially Sad/Stone/Burning/Tranquil Erda on the top of the map. And it does inconvenience newb Shades.

As for the Samihos, in Alchemy crafting you can make a transformation potion with their tails, and white powder, which was inaccessible for KMS due to the lack of etc. items. In GMS, for a while we had a separate Japanese map that had the Original Samihos at lv 63. I know this because I profited off the rare potions… so much for my mesos, I guess I’ll be broke for a while…

          January 2, 2018 at 2:46 am

That would make sense, but don’t Hodoris (the running tigers) also have transformation potions? Did Nexon forget about those?

Max, a few questions about the mannequin. Are there cash inventory transfer events and can mannequins be moved during? If yes, do they retain the hair and faces already saved? I wanna buy one from the AH and this is my deciding factor.

    • Max
      December 30, 2017 at 12:46 pm

Nope you can’t move Mannequins IIRC, they’re just like coupons to unlock slots in your Hair Room.

Will you be able to return to Verdel or will it be inaccessible like in Illium’s storyline.

Also can non-Ark characters go to Verdel?

    • Max
      December 30, 2017 at 12:47 pm

It seems the area/story is still a bit unfinished so I’m not sure, I haven’t created a new Ark to go through the tutorial. But I went on my Bowmaster and I could use the Teleport World Map to go there (but then I couldn’t find any way to leave lol so I’m guessing in the official servers you won’t be able to do that). Ark doesn’t seem to get a ‘return’ type skill so I feel like everything is pointing towards an area you can’t return to, like Eunwol’s Fox Village.

  5. December 30, 2017 at 4:18 pm

Dang that is a LOT of good stuff,
Fusing the symbols, Now Grandis has a full rotation and even the Novas are used in Ark’s story…But what makes me happy the most is….The CS effects save!!!

This is a lot of good stuff I am sure they are going to bulk in big Ark update for other maples one KMS tweek and adjust these features
